The plumber was very nice. We had a slow shower drain and he rodded it out and it seems to work now. When we called to arrange the service we were given the arrival rate and the hourly rate after that but no one mentioned a rental rate for the rodding machine or a fuel charge to get there. Seems like you wouldn’t have to pay $46 to rent equipment when you are already paying a lot for the plumber to come. When you hire a carpenter you don’t have to pay to rent his hammer plus his hourly charge and we’ve never paid for a service persons fuel charge! Crazy! This is a new one! 09/12/19 |

We have a boiler that is over 100 years old and a pipe started to leak. After calling several companies, Armbrust agreed to try and fix the pipe. Alan did an on site inspection and took a picture. Returning with a well thought out plan, Alan did the job with the help of an equally courteous and competent assistant. The pipe was quite difficult to remove after that many years, but I'm certain their job will last at least another 100 I hope. Thanks for a great job! 09/06/19 |

Louis and his crew installed a furnace and air unit at my house. They were friendly, on time, competent, polite and everything you would want from workers in your home. Armbrust has done quality work for us a few times in the past, and this time was no different. Plumbing Tech Alan C. was exceptionally helpful and courteous. A simple water heater replacement became a little more involved than we had realized, but he did a great job of explaining the nature of the problem. A less professional employee might have left me wondering if the work order was being padded, but I felt 100% confident that the extra work he recommended will save us considerable money down the line. Tom came to fix our garbage disposal, he arrived right on time and I was even amazed they were able to fit us in even though I had just called earlier that morning. He was very friendly and immediately got to work and found that it was a paperclip preventing the disposal from running. He was in and out in a few minutes and I was charged the minimum amount for his labor when I could have easily been given the whole spiel about how I need a brand new $300 unit and everything could have dragged on for a long time. During this visit, Adam Claus performed the annual RPZ back flow test required by the village and installed a shutoff valve for a refrigerator ice maker. Adam was professional, courteous and very thorough. He called about 15 minutes before arriving. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Adam has been here in the past, and it's always delightful working with him.

Armbrust Plumbing was exceptionally professional. Adam Claus was our technician and he went above and beyond to complete the work required in our condo prior to our selling it. The sink required a piece that needed to be ordered and Adam took it upon himself to both find the part on Amazon and purchase it for us, for which we reimbursed him, of course.
