I was beyond impressed with the job Barry and Steve G did at my home. I had the ducts cleaned a year prior when I moved in the home, but needed it again after renovations. They found all kinds of things in the ducts that the previous company missed. Barry was very informative about ways to keep the return air to furnace clean and that I needed a different filter size. The crew was friendly, polite and arrived on schedule. They were very neat in setting up hoses and equipment so that there was no mess left behind here. We had no clean up to do at all. Turns out we had very little "dirt" in our vents, but I guess that was good news.
Our only "issue" was that having the door open in February for several hours was uncomfortable, to say the least; remember...the heat is off during this entire process! They showed up on time as scheduled, provided a full explanation of what they were going to do, showed us before and after pics, gave us a walk-through after, and even showed us a vent in which the tubing doesn’t go up as high as it should - losing a little heat/cooling. Barry and Josh showed up precisely on time. They treated our home like it was their own. They went to great detail to cover floors, place foam on wall corners, and do everything possible to insure they did not make a mess. Our duct cleaning was on a cold day, so they even installed a temporary curtain over our back door to minimize entry of cold water.
They went to great length to clean every duct/register, including moving of furniture if necessary. Their attention to detail was EXCEPTIONAL. They took the time to "do it right" and it was evident that quality was their top goal. Every bit of dust and dirt created during the process was cleaned up.

They provided detailed before and after pictures of the vents and even did some spot sweeping of our basement (nice bonus). I moved into my house 1.5 years ago and based on the stickers on the furnace, I saw that the ducts had not been cleaned in over 15 years.
This is the first time I have lived in a house with ducts that were recently cleaned, and it is too early for me to say if this service is worth the money or not.
However, what I can add is that Amistee was very professional, and the workers that came were great. They showed up right on time (to the minute) and worked hard while they were here. Amistee is the name brand of vent cleaning, and they certainly showed why that is the case.
I cannot say if getting the vents cleaned was worth it or not. However, if this is a job you are looking to get done, I would highly suggest Amistee. Josh V., Torrell W. 02/09/20 |

Kyle and Greg completed a thorough air duct cleaning at our home. They explained their process in detail and did not cut corners. They went the extra mile in even removing the front cover of our furnace and making sure the heating coils were clean - which no other air duct company has done prior. When scheduling with Amistee, I needed an afternoon appointment on a Saturday, which they do not normally do, but they accommodated. Finding a trusted, local business that knows what they're doing, do it well and at a fair price is almost impossible these days. I meet providers at the house, whether plumbing, electrician or whatever else may be needed with a sense of caution because I'm almost certain that they're talking themselves up, are charging past what they should and half of the time are not doing their job thoroughly. The parting thought is always " oh, well, at least it's done". This experience with Amistee, is the first time in a very long time that I feel confident with the business I hired. The sales consultant, Rick, was a pleasure to work with. He explained thoroughly what went into the insulation estimate, he was sensible enough to tell me what we really needed, gave us a fair price and answered every question I had. The insulation consultants - Colten, Matt & Dallas were timely, polite and very thorough. These guys were vacuuming and sweeping my house before they left! Colten took his time explaining the condition they found the attic in and then itemizing, in detail, everything they did; which was honestly more than I expected. Oh my word, I cannot say enough good things about Adrian and Mike from AMISTEE AIR DUCT CLEANING AND INSULATION. They arrived promptly, were extremely courteous, explained what work they were going to do and why. They were professional and respectful in their appearance and demeanor and it was obvious they were well trained and experienced for the work they performed. We have two dogs, a French and an English Bulldog. Mike and Adrian showed concern for the dog’s comfort and safety and Lola and Bronco just loved the men.
