The name of this company should be Above Average Service Company. Perhaps even ALWAYS ABOVE AVERAGE Service Company. I've relied on them for over 10 years. They deliver superior service at fair rates and stand behind their promises 100%. Tim B., the super-tech I always ask for, is the kind of fellow you'd want as your next-door neighbor. A pleasure to have in your home. Works carefully. Explains things in language you can understand. Does a thorough job. Respects your home. Never looks for ways to "pad" a bill. There have been times when I couldn't get Tim, but the service experiences were similar. That says a lot about the company, their staff, and the way they do business. We have used AA Service, in our 2-flat, since 2004 for the two boilers as well as two A/C units. Andy was fantastic despite the cold rainy weather attempting to thwart his efforts to perform a pre-season A/C check. On one of the A/C units a part had burned out involving some wires. Andy had the parts on his truck so was able to repair immediately. He was very precise and through in his inspection of the units. Ralph Consolazio from AA Service Co. was a pleasure to work with. Prior to Ralph's 2 visits to my home I had a pump replaced on my boiler by another tech. The boiler after the replacement was making a loud annoying whistle/hum off and on. Ralph spend an hour (free of charge) on the first visit but the humming didn't occur. We made another appt and luckily when Ralph arrived it was humming & whisteling away. The pump was replaced, a thorough examination and checking took place and now it's as quiet as can be and the house is cozy warm. Andy was a thoroughgoing professional. When he entered the house, he immediately presented me with a card and then directly proceeded to tackle the job. Although I am hardly an expert in heating and cooling, Andy seemed quite knowledgeable and capable to me. His explanations were clear as a bell. I knew I was in good hands. Andy was also extremely pleasant and personable. When I paid the bill, we had a good albeit brief discussion about fishing, which seems to be one of his passions. If he is as good at catching northern pike as he is at fixing furnaces, hot water heaters and central air conditioning systems, we all might be seeing him soon on those television programs in which the fishermen and fisherwomen seemingly land one big one after another. I have used this service before and because they are so readily available and extremely thorough, so I did not hesitate to call them this morning because my AC has not been working. They were able to come right out.

The service dept was very patient and courteous. Petr, the service man, called to warn me he was close and was very respectful as he enter our home. He promptly went to the furnace and thoroughly examined the furnace for issues. We had water in the basement the night before due to bad weather and we were concerned that the furnace was damaged. Fortunately there was no damage but Petr did point out a flaw in the air filtering system and made a recommendation to correct. I have used AA Service for more than ten years and have always been pleased with their service. I currently live in a large condo building and we scheduled multiple units over a 2 day period. When the tech arrived, (Kraig H) he immediately began complaining about the number of units he had to do and how long he would be at the building. Normally the inside unit is inspected before going to the room to do the compressors. This time all he did was look at the filter, perhaps trying to save time. However, it is not my fault that too many units were scheduled for one person. AA should have sent another tech, or limited the number for each day.
