I first heard about this company when we rented and our landlord would contract this company. They were always prompt, I didn't know if it was the landlord or company themselves? We have since bought a house and harker is honestly all I knew. I will definitely be saving their contact info in my phone. While watching a movie on a VERY cold Saturday night in January we noticed that our Carrier furnace was not working.We called Harker and got a very good response right away. After a short conversation with Travis on the phone he arrived a short time later.The problem was fixed in a timely fashion and he was on his way before 11PM. Wayne was courteous and professional. He conducted several tests and asked a lot of questions so he could gather as much information as possible. He determined what the problem was and fixed it. He also made several suggestions (e.g. cleaning/replacingh the hose leading from our dehumidifier, making sure all of our high/low air return vents are open, increasing the blower speed) to improve the safety and efficiency of our system. He also explained that our furnace may require an additional air source to further improve system performance, and he explained what would need to be done to accomplish that.

Did a good job checking everything out resetting the two thermostats that were the problem and had me replace the batteries. No sooner done then the same thing happened again. My fear is the thermostats have to be replaced not his fault for trying resetting and batteries first but there should be some way to verify if the thermostats are the problem rather than just monitoring after a tried fix.

I contacted Harker, and since I had to leave a voicemail (after hours), they immediately called me back when the office opened, and I made an appointment for Jan 2nd. They sent Mr. Travis Y. to my home, and he was beyond professional. He has excellent communications skills, and had my issue diagnosed within seconds (No exaggeration). He worked fast, and fixed the issue. He was informative about what was going on, and I could not have had a better experience. I thought the price that I was charged as VERY REASONABLE! I will stick with Harker Heating & Cooling from now on out. If you are trying to figure out what company to use, don't waste any more time, and call Harker Heating & Cooling.
