Gilbert was fantastic. He arrived on time, explained what he was going to do to check out the system, kept me constantly informed and involved. Gilbert was polite, pleasant, and communicated all that was done and even befriended our dog. Gilbert also, did not leave a mess or any questions I had unanswered. I’ve been dealing with Progressive Service Company for several years and have been pleased with their work. Recently I had a toilet leak that caused damage to my flooring. Progressive responded quickly and sent a technician, Roland Lacure, to my home to inspect and start the repairing process. Mr. Lacure was always on time for our scheduled appointments, knowledgeable of the work that needed to be done and did so in a professional manner. Progressive is the only way to go for HVAC services/installation! We needed AC/HVAC replacement as our units were over 13 years old...and it was time. Since this was a major purchase, we reached out to multiple companies for estimates.
Darryl, from Progressive, came to our home for a free consultation and explained multiple options for replacing our AC and Heating units. He was friendly, courteous, helpful and extremely informative. Based on the information provided, the outline of the contract and the quality of products (Trane) and Progressive / Trane warranties, we totally agreed that Progressive was the company to go with and Trane was the product to purchase.
Darryl was phenomenal to work with! He always did what he said he was going to do. He was so incredibly responsive to all the additional questions I had. The order was placed in a very efficient manner and our install was quickly scheduled. The turn around time was amazing! Darryl was also so flexible in accommodating our schedule when we had to move the install date out due personal conflicts we had.
Our install occurred on Monday, January 21st...the absolutely coldest day in a very long time. The crew was phenomenal! They were meticulous in making sure that they covered the rugs/stairs and their work areas. They kept us updated on every step of the process and we were without heat for only a relatively short period of time considering the magnitude of the work involved.
I can't tell you how incredibly happy we were with the service. Trevor, one of our installers, was THE BEST! So incredibly polite, easy going, informative, helpful. Trevor has so much integrity in his work and excellent customer service skills!

Justin arrived at my home early than I expected. I told him the problem I was having with my mini split unit. He started to work and explained everything he was doing to fix the problem. He explain in details of what could have happen to the unit in language that I understood. He was able to get the unit working again and stay a little longer to make sure it was working. I called this morning at 6:30am because our heat wasn't working by 9am Keith was at our house and by 10:30 am it was fixed and warm! Keith was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and he even gave me advice on some other problems we have in our house. Both installation and 6-month checkup of my residential HVAC system have been entirely satisfactory. Would have given 5 stars but the checkup technician had a strong accent that my old ears couldn't quite follow. The service and timely installation was great. But, I am continually having an issue with the unit that was installed. I switched from a cooling unit to an HVAC cooling & heating unit back in October, 2018. Every sense it was installed, I cannot get the farther side of my home to get warm and the unit runs constantly. My electric bill has tripled. The thermostat is continuously reading "AUX HEAT". The unit was installed using all of the existing ducks and electrical wiring. I have recently had to have my furnace/boiler unit reconnected so that I could get heat throughout my house. We have been using Progressive as our heating/ac maintenance contractor for the past 4 years. They are always on time, polite, and knowledgeable. I had issues with noise made by air handler and cooling when I had my HVAC (Heat pump and air handler) unit replaced by another Vendor recently. That is when I reached out to Progressive Service Company to install another new heat pump and air handler.
Evaluation and Work-order: Joe Oliveira stopped by my home, took time to understand the problem that I was having with the unit, went back and discussed the issue with his team of experts and had a detailed work order sent to me with in a day.
Professionalism and Quality of work: On the day of the install Gene, Trevor (the installers), Moses (Install Manager) and Joe were at my home early in the morning. They patiently waited for the other Vendor to pull out the unit and then started installing the new one. They completed all the work (installing heat pump, air handler and thermostat) in about 5 hours. Joe stopped by again the same evening to make sure everything was working fine and to make sure that I was satisfied with the new system.
Customer Service and Experience: I am very impressed with the responsiveness and service provided to me by Christy Donaldson (HVAC Install Admin), Joe and the rest of the install team. Christy has touched base with me on several occasions (both prior to and post installation) to make sure everything was well and kept me informed about next steps in the process.
Based on the experience that I have had with Progressive Service Company, I will HIGHLY recommend them for HVAC install and maintenance.
Update on semi-annual maintenance:
The customer support and service provided by the company and it's employees continues to amaze me. Semi-annual maintenance of HVAC system was scheduled by Beth. It was followed by an phone call and email introducing the staff on the day of service. Gilbert and Justin went through checking the system thoroughly. Performed all maintenance work. We received absolutely top-rate service today from Progressive Service Company. Beth confirmed our appointment for the Fall HVAC maintenance check and hot water heater check. She promptly notified me by phone this morning just prior to the appointment. I was highly impressed!! Both service guys showed up on time. HVAC technician Gilbert performed excellent service on our Trane gaspak and Trane heat pump. Steve, the plumber, recommended that our hot water heater not be flushed as I requested because the 11-year old heater had never been flushed and would most likely leak if it were flushed. I appreciated and admired his honesty and integrity. Both technicians were efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Progressive for HVAC service and plumbing.
