Damico was right on time, checked out the furnace and mentioned that the ignition was OK, but I might want to replace it. With a cold MN winter coming up, I decided to replace it. Jimmy did a great job of telling me what was wrong with our Reznor garage heater and fixing it fast. While Jimmy was very helpful, it was a unit that Apollo installed less than 1 year ago and it appears to be have been an issue at install. Jimmy V. 11/14/18 |

I admire Apollo for hiring honesty, virtuous employees. Drew came to check my furnace a few years ago that another company said needed to be replaced. Drew assured me it did not. We needed a new furnance and AC due to age/condition. I read several positive reviews about Apollo and my dad was happy with his AC purchase through Apollo. Clay came out and discussed furnaces and AC's with us, nice guy, recommended the Lennox so we went with that. Then the problems came. We live in a townhouse so there is a designated space for the AC, which Clay himself looked at. Installers come out to replace furnace and AC and realize that the AC unit is to big for the space. He makes some calls to Clay, sends him some pictures and then proceeds to install a unit that is way to big and hangs over the concrete pad into the driveway with the freon line placed just right so anyone pulling in or out of our driveway can hit it and ruin the whole AC. They never ask if it will be OK to do this they just install it. The furnace replacement seemed to go well except for they had to turn off my hot water heater but didn't bother to turn it back on. They also forgot to bring my new thermostat so I had to wait for that. The installer is showing me the new AC and I am expressing my concerns about it hanging over the concrete pad and potential for it being hit by a car, the snow plow, etc.. He tells me to talk to the field tech/inspector. Fast forward 2 weeks and the inspector/field tech guy, Christopher comes out and basically tells me that this over sized AC is my problem and I will have to pay additional money to either have it moved or to extend my concrete pad. None of this was discussed prior to purchase. In his words, "we take out the old unit and put in the new one." So buyer beware- they do not measure your space or consider what will fit, they just come out to make a sale. He was also supposed to tell me about some maintenance program they offer to keep your furnace and AC running but he didn't do that and quite frankly I would rather go with another company. Now I am left trying to figure out what to do to protect this AC unit. After spending 9 grand, I had to deal with inconveniences like turning the water heater back on and waiting for a new thermostat AND I will now have to spend more money to have the concrete pad extended or to get it moved all together. I wouldn't recommend or use Apollo again. Chris U. 07/23/18 |

I was very happy with Jimmy's visit as all Apollo tech's, he explained what he was going to be looking for and what he was doing with the air conditioner and when done he told me what he found, good condition AC. He did remind me that running the fan 24/7 I need to change my air filter every 6 months. He was friendly and very professional .

We’ve used Apollo for about 15 years, since we moved into our current house. We called to have someone check our AC, and Chris didn’t disappoint. Just had my operations check on my new Lennox A/C that Apollo installed. I am so impressed with ALL the young men that were involved in the installation. Starting with Eric Thompson from Lowe's who helped with the financing to Pete Flanigan who thoroughly explained my options, to the 3 installers who worked tirelessly to get the A/C up and running and finally to Chris Uhler, the technician who performed the Operations Check today. I had a wonderful experience with Jimmy V. from Apollo Heating & Air today. He called me 15 minutes prior to arriving to let me know I was his next stop. He was very considerate, introduced himself and he put on shoe covers when he entered the house. He let me know how long the service would take and informed me what he would be doing during today's visit. At the end of the visit he showed me pictures of everything he checked and what my air conditioner looked like before and after service. I pruned away some shrubbery and perennial vegetation to get proper clearance. He represented Apollo very well and provided valuable information on what I can do to help keep our unit running and what to listen for if the system starts early symptoms of failing (fan motor squeaking).
