It was a delight working with Simas Floor Co for the re-carpeting of our Physical Therapy Office in Citrus Heights. They completed a 5500 sq ft job in 2 days,- and they worked Saturday and Sunday so we didn't have to close the office during our regular business hours.
From our first encounter with David the salesman, to the very professional installation crew, everything went like clockwork. We walked in Monday morning and went right to work on new, beautifully installed carpet. We would highly recommend Simas Floors if you want exemplary service and beautiful results.

I had a very positive experience with Simas, beginning with the helpfulness and courtesy of the staff in the store and the professionalism and friendliness of the sales representative, David, who came to my home The installation crew arrived on time and completed the installation process in a very organized, skilled and timely manner. They, also, were courteous, friendly and obviously experienced and committed to quality service. I appreciated that they took care in moving and replacing furniture, seeking direction when needed. While I had dreaded the disruption that carpet replacement would involve, I was very pleased and surprised at how much less imposing the installation was than what I had anticipated that it would be. He continued to contact us during the whole installation process to make sure everything was going well - and he went out of his way to procure the wood flooring to match our existing (discontinued) flooring - one wonders how many favors he used up to get it! Everyone from the individual who contacted us to schedule the installations to the installers were professional, pleasant to deal with and worked with us to make the entire process a positive experience. We could not find our floor model anywhere. I contacted Simas and they had several samples sent to me within days. Once we found the model Thomas came out within the next couple of days to provide an estimate. We ordered the flooring and it came in within about a week. I'm really happy that I chose Simas to replace the carpeting with vinyl plank flooring. From the beginning when Thomas came to give me the estimate through the actual installation process they have been great. Thomas responded so quickly to my questions and was great when I changed my mind about which flooring I actually wanted. The installers came exactly as scheduled and have taken great care in moving all of my heavy furniture out into the garage for the duration of the project. They were so careful with walls, etc. which I really appreciated. They carefully "enclosed" the kitchen cabinets, refrigerator, etc. in plastic so as to contain the dust. Unfortunately, the floors weren't entirely level in this house, so they had to grind quite a bit of concrete which left alot of dusty residue. I understand that it is necessary to do this in order to get a good end product for the finished floor and I was expecting a bit of mess. Thomas has scheduled a cleaning company to come out and take care of what escaped the downstairs living room and ended up in my upstairs loft area! It was a surprise, but they have all been ever so helpful and kind about everything. I highly recommend this company and Thomas! The installation crew, led by Sergei, has been awesome as well. Our installation required some extra steps to plane the floor's high spots and fill in a low spot. This work was done very well and we are extremely happy with the results. The engineered flooring looks great and we have received many compliments. A manufacturing defect in one piece of material that was not obvious at the time of installation was noticed a week later, and Thomas arranged for warranty replacement. We had Simas install Homerwood hickory hardwood floors in the living and dining areas of our home.
Thomas I. was our first contact and sales estimator. Thomas came out promptly to our home and provided a competitive bid for the installation. He was always available to answer questions and address our concerns before, during, and after the job was completed.
Keith S. was our installer. He worked very carefully during the installation. He was very experienced in working in and around multiple areas in brick, tile, and existing wood surfaces and providing a perfect match to each area.

Simas installed new carpet throughout our whole house and luxury vinyl tile in our master bath room. Thomas helped us pick out the carpet and tile and was super helpful as it gets very overwhelming. The installation team for the carpet were great and moved our large furniture for us. Simas installed new "lino" in a old kitchen at my parents home, the old flooring was "coved" & there aren't many installers that know how to do it anymore! My experience from the showroom staff to the salesman "David" to the installer "Mike" was awesome!!My parents are in their 90's so we had a hard time selecting the right flooring & they were so patient & accommodating with all the floor samples I took home (numerous trips!! thank goodness I live close) due to our indecision it became funny!! His suggestions to modify our original plans saved us quite a bit of money and we are thrilled with the results. The install team was also great. Thomas and his installing crew did a an efficient and good job. Simas is a good company. Everyone had a good attitude and was as helpful as I could imagine. I think that Kathy, the scheduling gal did a great job but I think she might need a little backup, especially when there are short turn around messages. She is doing the best anyone can do, I think.
