James N. was wonderful. We had a leak that sprung on a pipe and we couldn't shut off the main. James came and took care of the leak ASAP. He also came back to repair the concrete that had to be broken to get to the pipe. It was our first time using Dutton Plumbing and it was a pleasant one. He was very personable and professional. This past Saturday was suppose to be one our greatest days, we moved into the last house of our lives (retired, downsized). Well, it turned out to NOT be that at all! My wife and I were so excited, then the bottom fell out. Our water heater stopped working, unbeknownst to us, the FURNACE was also not working (nightly temp. 45 degrees). We called DUTTON PLUMBING Saturday morning, they dispatched Eric who was able to get it going. Eric was very friendly and professional. At the end of my long day I realized we had NO HOT WATER!, the water heater stopped working. Now, I called DUTTON PLUMBING back, its a weekend and the end of the day, still, they were there to help! They sent James C and Leo Barajas. Those two guys worked for an extended time to get us hot water, but to no avail. the water heater was defective. What got my attention, was how tenacious they were. I hope I don't get them in trouble, but James went above and beyond, he called the Water Heater company for us (oh yeah its a late weekend their closed). I called Dutton Plumbing this afternoon to fix my garbage disposal. They were so professional on the phone and let me know they would call me to tell me when to expect a service engineer. First call, they said all engineers were busy. They called back in two hours and let me know they were on their way. Rich, the engineer was polite, knowledgeable and got right to work. Dutton does good reliable work and they are quick and quite helpful with your questions.
You may wanna check online for any parts they use towards your services as I found the same parts they charged me 218.00 dollars for 12.00 as a kit at a plumbing mail order store.
They fixed my hot water bathroom faucet rebuilding the stem and inside valve guts for the price above. I’ve now ordered a 12.00 kit so I can fix the cold faucet side myself instead of paying Dutton 436.00 to rebuild both sides .

Whoever has given Dutton Plumbing a favorable review must have been paid, is an employee of the company or has money to burn. Here's why they don't even deserve one star: 1) Quoted a price of over $400 for a disposal similar to the one I purchased at Loews for $110 2) After telling Eric that I just needed to swap out my old disposal with the one I had already purchased, I was told that it would cost $460. I had a local plumber complete the job for $80 which he completed in 1/2 hour! 3) When I politely said no thanks to Eric, he said there would be a $39 service charge for him showing up. Prior to setting up the appointment I was told by their customer service/schedulers that the estimates were FREE of charge. I escorted Eric out the door without paying of course. Do not let them in your house unless you confirm with their plumber that there is no charge for an estimate.
