Horrible! In an emergency when I ran out of propane, just getting over Covid and three kids at home they refused to deliver to me because I was not an “auto-filler” and the person on call was rude and nasty. Called in the morning and they told me they had nothing for 2 days mind you it is negative 2 degrees outside. Unacceptable! These are not times to tell customers you can’t or won’t when it’s freezing outside and we have small children and have been a good customer for 3 yrs. Extremely disappointed. (See More)

These people are the worst, uncaring and money hungry, nothing else matters to them.
The only reason I used them this time was due to heap.
I called them today because I am almost out of fuel and could only afford $250 to 300. That wasn't good enough for them they said the minimum I had to pay was $454.00. They said if they did any less there was the possibility of an issue at the fill site. They said if they delivered a smaller amount that there was a chance that when they pulled the hose out it could cause an issue and a spillage....WHAT????? What kind of bull is that.
I explained I was 75, a vet out of work at this time and was asking for an exception to their minimum, they said NO.
I gave up and called Bob at Hudson View and he said no problem I would have my oil on Monday. Bob is the greatest and the only reason I had stopped using him was that they didn't accept heap at that time, but I'm back to them again and VERY HAPPY. (See More)

In general, Bottini has been a good company and easy to work with. My only criticism is their account/billing page is very confusing. It always has at least 2 different amounts for what I "owe" even though over 80% of the time I am in the black with them. I continue to be confused on a monthly basis when I see my billing statement. I wish they would fix this to make it more customer-friendly and less jarring to see, because it is in fact jarring to see that I allegedly "owe" money when on the very same page in a different area it states that I am in the black. Bottini Fuel is reliable, community-centered, and very focused on professionalism and deliveries on time for members who live locally and often have to contend with harsh winters and other natural or societal constraints. They have built on price transparency measures, and care about their customers and their community. My only suggestion is to offer more flexible minimums for fuel delivery for these times, and moving forward. My life and quality of my life was in the service technician's hands but I did not realize it. Carbon monoxide poisoning is serious and can be deadly. This rating starts with the July 2, 2020 annual boiler cleaning. A couple of days after the cleaning I noticed oil on the floor in front of the boiler. Called for service and a different tech responded. He said a screw(s) was not tightened as it should have been; that the technician who had done the annual cleaning was a new hire (quickly revised to experienced but new to Bottini) so had not seen a memo that circulated telling that screw(s) needed to be tightened. Monday, August 17, 2020, I began to feel sick (headache, nausea, ...). I had closed windows since the temperature lowered; therefore, greatly reduced ventilation in the house. Wednesday, August 19, 2020, I finally listened to 2 neighbors who said black smoke was coming from my chimney and I should call for service. I called and same technician who had done original cleaning arrived - don't know name but yellow service sheet has Technician 390. He said problem was caused by loose vent pipe that is just above the boiler top. (Note: There are probably technical terms for what was loose.) Why was pipe loose??? Looks like it was left that way after annual cleaning. And was not noticed by 2nd technician! Talking to my son later that day about my symptoms & what the technician told me, my son said it sounds like I have carbon monoxide poisoning. I agree. I've been thoroughly ventilating my house. Physically I feel better & hope I have no brain damage. Note: Technician did not suggest ventilating my house or getting carbon monoxide detectors. I'm still amazed at how quickly technician discovered that vent pipe was loose. (See More)

After a frustrating experience with my previous propane company, I discovered Bottini. I first used them in November of 2019 when I needed a new gas stove installed in my kitchen. My previous gas company took over two weeks just to get an estimate and couldn’t promise me they could do the work before Thanksgiving. When I called Bottini their salesman Matt came out right away and gave me a price right on the spot. They scheduled the install for the following week and my new stove was ready to go for Thanksgiving. Their tech, Joe, did a great job! So this summer I used them again when I decided to move my tanks to a different location. Again they took care of me in a reasonable amount of time with a reasonable rate to do the work. I had my Central AC serviced. The technician asked me for new batteries as the old ones died. He replaced the batteries. I asked him why the temperature was 76 in the house if I had the thermostat set on 69. The technician told me that when the battery is replaced everything will reset back to the original settings. This is not the case! The thermostat is now on a temporary setting and the time is in correct. In my opinion the technician did not make sure my thermostat was working properly after he changed the batteries. I also asked him if he checked the return to check on the filter. Botini is the worst service and untrustworthy company ever! I had a gas leak and it took 7 calls & 7 visits by 7 different mechanics to fix it. This was a generator hookup line, that done by Botini and they billed me for the gas leak call each time and it wasn't even fixed. They adjusted the bill each time after I had to call and tell them, that the leak was at the connection of the gas-line pipe that Botini has installed just weeks prior to the leak detection. They left a huge mess inside my basement, where the wall was drilled to take the gas pipe connection to the outside where the generator was. The price quoted was $200 to $250 max, but after the work was done, I was sent a bill for $750. After several phone calls back and forth, they reduced it to $650 still a big rip-off! I do not recommend this company at all! Do not trust them! (See More)

I've been a customer for many years and had an issue with my gas fireplace. Three employees came out trying to help me with it (they don't work on them). I had the pleasure of meeting Joey, Jerry and Joe on separate occasions and after ordered the parts (the company wouldn't sell them to Bottini) it is now working. We have been Bottini clients for several years, always very happy with the response and service we receive. We usually have the same tech that gets sent out for our cleaning and he has always done a great job. I love that consistency, so I was a bit nervous this year to find someone new came out. However, the gentleman who came to our home last week was incredibly pleasant, knowledgeable and qualified in his job. He is an absolute asset to the company and Bottini should be proud that their techs are great employees out "in the field." Like the last review, I have also previously suggested to Bottini that they make a reminder call to set up that annual cleaning as that would be a real bonus. Due to a prior family situation, we had missed an annual cleaning under our agreement and it would've been nice to know that they had my back. I've since had the discussions with the back office about that situation, so going forward on MY end, I know now that I have to take on that responsibility because I was advised that there are simply too many customers for them to call each one... but apparently they DO mail a reminder (?) Either way, I reiterate that we are still very happy with Bottini. When we first got our home nearly 20 yrs ago, we tried three other local vendors over the course of maybe 6-8 years. However, since discovering Bottini, we have remained clients for many years now because they have been the best of all. With other vendors, it seemed that if the techs were great, the billing and office staff were just terrible, or vice versa. Woth Bottini, each staff member - regardless if they were in sales, billing/service or tech - have all been a pleasure to work with. PS: Since you haven't been able to come up with a program to call our for service reminders, perhaps a loyalty discount for clients who have been using your services for say 5 or 10 yrs - even on just the cost of that service contract - would be a nice touch to "show" those long standing clients you appreciate them. I recently needed to replace both an oil tank and oil fired furnace. After collecting proposals from three different vendors, Bottini had the best package price and could do the job within two days of having a signed contract. They followed through with excellent service, in a very challenging installation, that required disassembling the old furnace to remove it and cutting apart the old oil tank, then removing a set of stairs to get the new unit into the basement. The service techs were courteous and professional, and cleaned up and put back everything that needed to be taken apart. They installed a new thermostat by fishing the wires in the wall cavity so it looked like it was always there. Made a service call because I was without heat. Waited for the technician all day. Looked at the furnace for 10 minutes and said their was nothing he could do because the unit did not have power. He informed me that I would have to contact an electrician. Electrician was called the following day and diagnosed the issue as a short in the water sensor regulator. Said he could not fix it because it wasn’t an electrical issue it was a faulty part. Made a second service call to botinni. Second technician was very apologetic. Said I never should have been left without heat. Said the part could be replaced at the cost of $350 since it was not covered under my service agreement. Technician said the part wasn’t really necessary and was able to fix the furnace without it. If I had dealt with this technician from the start I would have given them 5 stars. (See More)

The technician who came on 7/29/19 diagnosed the problem as a broken low water sensor box. I saw that the box was burned out so I assumed that this was the problem. The second technician came on 8/1/19 with the replacement device. He tried to install it, but it took him 45 minutes to do so because, as he said, there was an extra wire in the device that he wasn't sure what to do with. He read and re-read the installation instructions which came with the new low water sensor and seemed to be having trouble figurine out how to install the box. He attached and reattached the wires in different combinations. Finally, he got the green light on the box to come on. However, I'm not sure the box is working right. I don't have confidence in the second technician at all. I hope things are working right! (See More)

I had scheduled an annual service call for my furnace, but they called to tell me an emergency at a nursing home prevented them from coming that day. I said I'd get back to them with a time for the new appointment. When I called them the next day, they offered to come that afternoon. They only schedule their appointments within a four-hour time slot, so I expected them between 12 and 4. As it was, the service man knocked at my door about 12:30, came in and got right to work. He was very pleasant, seemed quite competent, and hardly needed an hour to do the work. He left the area around the furnace neat and the furnace itself ran more quietly with no noticeable odor afterwards. My 64 year old furnace was condemned last week by a Bottini serviceman as it was (unknown to me) releasing carbon monoxide due to the heat exchanger being cracked and my oil company Bottini was contracted to do the replacement. The installers were very professional, put cardboard down in my living room and on the cellar floor. They worked diligently from 8:30am to 5:15pm and all of this done in a 4' cellar that also had 2 floor-leveling beams that made some of the access even less than 4'! All including clean-up afterwards went very well and without a complaint from them....or me! My only issues and the reason for the 4-stars, was that I am not entirely sure why, after years of my being told by their servicemen after multiple yearly servicings, that the old burner's heat exchanger was cracked, I was not told about the carbon monoxide issue before, so the only thing I can think of was perhaps it was never tested for CO release! I am not familiar with these things, so I must rely on the professionals to keep me informed! Also, a very minor issue where they were a little lacking with the new installation, was that I was given no brochure/information about the burner or indication as to what type/size filter is needed for it, but the office is ordering a brochure for me and I'll still have to find out what filters are needed. Altogether though, I'm very satisfied with the new burner installation job and their timely scheduling to do the job, and, in general pretty satisfied with the company overall! (See More)

As a premium service member, during last years cleaning in Jan, I was told by your senior tech I would need a new chamber and could wait till the following years cleaning. He said not to worry that it was inexpensive. In July when I reached out to Bottini to ask about the chamber I was told they needed get the model #. They came and I never heard back from them again. I made the next appointment for the cleaning many months in advance. Before their arrival I called to make sure they were fixing the chamber. The scheduler had no idea what I was talking about. A manager called me back to ask if I had received a quote. He proceeds to tell me that it will cost $425.00. I paid $399.00 for my premium service. Well I did some research and the part was only $70.00 and I had it fixed by a reputable company for $125.00. After this year I will look for a new company. Shame on you Bottini! (See More)

My oil burner has been rumbling and making much more noise than last year. Twice I was told it was fine. It had gotten so bad that it would wake me at night. Dan came and agreed with me. He cleaned the burner and tuned it up and now it is perfect. He did have to return a few hours later because I had no heat. It was the thermostat and he replaced it. Just a coincidence I assume. Their Sales Manager Joe, awesome to work with, followed up each time, emergency service at 2:00 AM responded within 1/2 an hour. Installation of a new boiler within two days. Heater wouldn’t come on so I called Bottini. They promptly responded. Problem was hard to diagnose because the heater came on 5 min before they arrived. We truly appreciate the service provided by Bottini Fuel. All concerned from the Emergency Answering Service to the Repair Personnel were courteous and efficient. Although the actual repair to the furnace took several visits, the technicians evaluated the situation step by step until the cause of the problem was analyzed. I would recommend Bottini fuel to any home owner looking to have their Heating or Air Conditioing Systems installed of replaced. We had them both. They are an excellent company to have on your side. Our most resent project was the replacement of our old but still working A/C System. Like every large purchase, we did our home work. Our first choice was Bottini fuel. But we met with 5 other area companies. Not one came close to Bottini’s hornest salesmanship. Plus the great quality of work we received when we had our boiler and hot water header installed 5 years ago is exactly what we received 5 years later. Our installation started on October 8,2018 and within two days we were up and running. Buying a new boiler is an expensive experience and encountered, fortunately, only every few decades. My oil boiler failed me in late summer so I had the time to interview a number of installers and I chose Bottini. My experience began with Todd, their salesman, who came to my home, carefully assessed my needs, offered a premium product (Weismann) and answered all of my many questions...both through emails and phone chats in the days that followed. Bottini is an inclusive company and was able to remove the kerosene oil tank, give me credit for the oil it contained, and provide the new propane tank. Installation took only three days accomplished by a competent team of two. Gary was the veteran, the problem solver, the clear communicator. Phil was the tech guru, able to navigate the challenges of sophisticated hardware. The installation began with Gary designing a support wall that took in consideration a bulging stone wall. My home dates back to 1825. The finale was a tutorial where Phil described tha advantages of a programmable thermostat and both men provided clear instructions. My home was left clean. I’ve been with Bottini for 17 years and find their oil pricing and delivery competitive. I’ve been extremely pleased eith service. Most recently I needed a new hot water heater and had to call three times to get a price. No one would call me back. Perhaps they were busy or short staffed but I received no explanation for why I had to call so many times. I was frustrated. Had a problem with my furnace leaking water, called Bottini Oil at 5 pm and with in less then an hour someone was here.
The tech was very knowledgeable and he diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. He explained what he was going to do and then went and got the parts needed, when he was done, 3 parts were changed out and the furnace was working fine. My initial contact w/Bottini was to have my tank(struck by a falling tree) destroying the cap and rearranging the co/per tubing underneath. The tank was knocked out of a verticle position which I resolved myself. The service pereson that came out claimed that he righted the tank, when all that he did was stick another block under the tank. It didn't even touch the tank. He did not replace the cap or work on the plumbing. He charged an hour labor. I was home at the time but there was no communication, he just sat in truck. We had 2 recent Service calls for the same problem. The tech on the first call 3/19/2028 did a very brief and in my opinion performed a very poor analysis which failed to fix the issue ( no heat/ hot water) we left on a trip on 3/20/2018 and when we returned on 4/17/2018 our house was at 30 degrees. We called and related what was going on and about the tech on the 3/19 experience and that now in 4/17 we had a house at 30 degrees and no hot water to the Bottini dispatch person and this time be a Senior tech came. The Senior tech Kevin(286) was excellent. He spent a lot of time thoroughly analysis and installed a new relay which seems to have fixed the problem. Kudos for Kevin and his thorough analysis. I guess we got lucky and our pipes didn't freeze after the poor analysis done by the tech on 3/19/2018 and very pleased with Kevin ( the tech that came and 4/17) Kevin was very interested and competent and thorough unlike the tech that came around 10 PM on 3/19/2018. We have been with Bottini for probably 30 years and have almost always found their service and deliveries to be positive. However, last week we had our contracted annual cleaning performed by a fellow named Russ. After the service, he mentioned that he adjusted the nozzle as he thought the furnace sounded too loud when it was running. I did not mention this to my wife, but later in the day she remarked how quiet the furnace ran and we noticed that we didn't have the usual "bang" when it started up. The March 2nd snow storm devastated Dingmans Ferry/Delaware Twp PA area; most roads were not passable or barely passable due to trees, electrical poles and telephone poles taken down by the storm. I have used Bottini for fuel and for service since 2002. During this time, twice I have run out of fuel because Bottini did not deliver frequently enough. Both times my pipes froze and I spent thousands of dollars fixing them. Since these incidents, I have requested MONTHLY deliveries during the freezing months. Although the phone representatives took my request, the deliveries have continued to be erratic. On one occasion the person I spoke to on the phone said that my request was a nuisance because in some months the amount of fuel they deliver is too small.
Right after this phone discussion, we had a large snowfall and my driveway (which is steep and can be blocked by road plows) became impassible. It was many weeks before the next delivery was made. I consider this to be unacceptable service. More recently, my furnace went off and I phoned Bottini to request that they restart it (since I was not at home). I drove to the house on an emergency basis to see if the furnace was back on. It was, but BOTTINI DID NOT SEND ME A NOTICE INDICATING WHETHER THEY HAD ACTUALLY VISITED MY HOUSE OR NOT. If I don't know this, I must treat each time as an emergency and drive two hours to the house if I am out of town. Again, this is not acceptable service. (See More)

On March 7th a snow storm dumped 12 inches of snow on my locality. I was scheduled for a delivery of propane on March 8th, and made sure my driveway was plowed early in the day, since I was low on fuel and need it for heat. I was about to shovel off my walkway, since that is the only access to my tanks, when I looked out a window and saw the Bottini truck pulling away. My heart sank, as I figured there was no way the delivery could be made with a foot of snow covering the walkway. However, when I checked the tanks I saw that they were both full. Normy had trudged through 60 feet of 12 inches of snow to make my delivery! Customer service extraordinaire! Well, back in October of 2017 we received our annual servicing. Everything had been running fine up to that point, but after the serviceman left, a few days later, my wife began smelling fuel each time she came in from outside. When I went down to check around the burner, there were pads soaked with oil. As it turned out he needed to change the fuel pump gasket, but didn't. Anyway in the 6 or so weeks after the tune up, I had to go down and hit the reset button at least a dozen times. After they came and fixed the gasket, I had to go down about every other day to reset the burner. Finally Kevin Neugen came and replaced a couple of things and the burner has been running fine since. However he did recommend looking into a new burner. I'm waiting for a quote from Joe Petrocelli on a new burner, air conditioner and water heater. (See More)

Bottini Fuel performed admirably during an extended, severe cold weather period in January. Their telephone system was overwhelmed, but technicians worked continually to restore heat to their customers. Half of our Heat zones had failed, and a temporary fix was done to keep lines from freezing over the weekend. Bottini contacted us to schedule the definitive repair, which was performed a few days later. Meanwhile, fuel deliveries were increased to keep up with a higher level of demand. The quality of technicians performing routine services has been inconsistent, but it has been better than the HVAC company we had used originally. I will continue to contract with Bottini Fuel and recommend them to friends. (See More)

The next day Todd the salesman was out to the house and by Thursday my new furnace was put in with 3 guys who did a great job and in such a timely manner. The response from your service manager was lacking, however once engaged (after several emails and phone calls) he was very informative. The work that was required was not finished as agreed. Your technicians are sloppy and DO NOT COMPLETE The job assigned. They left an oil line on the floor from a tank removal (basement) and did not cover the holes left in the house from the fill pipe removal. The post put in the garage to protect the tank was not secured properly and needs to be redone.

As we work during the week, we had to use care taker for your service. Care taker’s cost is $35/hour. Your technician had care taker waited 3 hours the first time, and the work didn’t make the furnace any better. We had to schedule the second time, and care taker waited from 3pm to 7pm, and your guy didn’t show up. We got a call at 10:30pm from your guy and he wanted to come at 11:30pm. We said no. We are too tired to deal with a pipe fix starting at 11:30pm. The third and forth time our care taker again waited hours before your guy showed up. On Veterans weekend , it was the first weekend it really got cold enough to turn on the heat. Ours didn't go on . Apparently many many steam boilers and furnaces didn't . We called in mid afternoon and there were so many calls that the guy who came ,(James M.) and diagnosed the problem, came at 11 pm, ( having worked since 08).
He told us what the part was specifically, which enabled other guys to come and finish the work the next day with the right part from the warehouse. Despite the chilly house and the lateness of the hour he was pleasant and professional .
Having spoken to the service manager the following day, I know some guys answered calls the prior night until the middle of the night, to make sure everyone got heat. The Furnace annual cleaning was performed at 1 of my rentals & I was not there. After the cleaning when the tenant got home it was 100 degrees in the house and the fan was running non stop.
They called me and I called service department. Another service person went out but could not find house so he went on to next job. He did call me but I want not in phone service area at that time. Finally 3 1/2 hrs later he went out to see what was wrong.
I called the office the next day no one knew what happened. Someone was going to find out and get back to me but never did and now I'm reminded of that so I guess I should still follow up.
Being a property manger if I had been there I would have not let the service person leave until the furnace stopped running. ~ That was my fault.

I’m a current customer with this fuel company, I received an propane delivery in early April and have been getting emails from Bottini that their records show I should be low on propane. I checked the tanks and they were 65% full in September. I asked them by email so I would have a record, how low can they go before I need a delivery? They said I shouldn’t let them go much lower than 35%. I told them the tank gauge was at 65%. I got an email early November saying that their records indicate I’m in need for a delivery. I checked the tanks and they were at 55%. I emailed them back telling them that and that I DONT want a delivery and would call them when they got near 35%. 3 days later they delivered propane to my house 94 gallons. I guess it doesn’t matter to them what the customer wants. They didn’t have my permission to charge my card, I was clear in my e mails to them. I now have a 16 month supply of their propane. They are using their customers to store their fuel.

I'm a new customer and I've had a most disappointing experience with Bottini Fuel. I scheduled a servicing. I WAS warned that if there was an emergency, my call "might" be cancelled -- but I was unaware that it would be canceled LESS than an hour before the appointment. So I took the day off from work, traveled 2.5 hours, waited. Because it's a second home and we only have one car, my husband had to spend $36 to take a bus in from the city so I could be here for the tank cleaning. I completely understand there are emergencies and, of course, I wouldn't want someone to go without heat in the winter. The only reason I gave them a second star is because they did give me some form of warning -- but it was unclear. When I called back to complain, all that I needed was a credit for the amount of my husband's bus fare. That's all I really wanted. That is all I asked for. Their counter offer was 20 cents per gallon off my next delivery. For a service contract that costs $400 (in full disclosure they gave us a year free because we're new and they wanted to wow us with their service -- they DID NOT), I don't understand how this company doesn't have enough people to service their clients. I have been with Bottini for over 20 years and have found their prices and their customer service excellent. Last Friday I had a leak in my boiler room and didn’t realize it was coming from the burner so I called a company who claim they do plumbing. They couldn’t find the leak. On Sunday I heard water again and realized it was coming from my furnace. I called Bottini right away and they dispatched a technician within 5 minutes. He came and fixed the problem and was out of my house within an hour. I didn’t have to pay anything as I have a premier contract which provides 24 hour 7 days per service. I wouldn’t use another company for my fuel oil and service as Bottini provides such excellent service. (See More)

Problem with my pool heater ---pool company installed natural gas heater to be used with propane. Luckily I had called Bottini to see why black smoke was coming out of heater. They were there within an hour, quickly saw that wrong type of heater was installed and assisted me in getting pool company to replace with brand new and correct one(the one I bought initially).

Just had my first annual maintenance completed by Bottini on my oil heating system. The inspector that came out was great. He was very polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. I just bought my house so I'm new to the whole oil heating system. The Bottini inspector took the time to explain to me my system and walked me through the benefits of the contract that I had with Bottini. The inspector did an awesome job completing the annual maintenance on my system, he was very through and was professional at how he handled my system. This is my second post re Bottini Fuel. Turns out the new pool heater installed by my pool company was for natural gas and not propane --yes another smoke filled day !

I am very upset over the service of our A/C. This is the 2nd yr that they were not able to service the inside unit that is upstairs in the attic. It is so packed with tubing that a person can not fit up there. Then when I spoke with Mike at the office he told me that I need to find another person to service it!! So someone else has to deal with YOUR mistake? I was so aggravated I just hung up. Oh and when the service men came back to say they had to service the outside unit, he came back, looked at it and left. Totally aggravated, especially because you were able to put in a whole new unit 3 yrs ago. A whole new unit was brought upstairs! Now do you see? They can do something that cost me THOUSANDS of dollars but cant service it. (See More)

Year in and year out we rely on the excellent staff and service that we get from Bottini. Today, Debby spent time with me until I was able to easily pay on line. In thirteen years, we have never had a bad experience. When we got our central air conditioner, I got three estimates. I showed them to my friend's husband who does this for a living. The results were just like The Three Bears. One estimate would give us too much and make the lower level too moist. The second was too little for the size of our home. Bottini's was "just right". I am not sure how I would rate the various service techs that come by each year for annual maintenance of my boiler...that is harder for me to assess, though I have not felt "wowed" by anyone. That said, I have been consistently "wowed" by the customer service provided in connection with arranging for fuel deliveries and attempting to decide on which plan to purchase to get the most value for my needs. In particular I have relied on Tavanda M to help me sort through options and make informed choices. She has been consistently helpful, patient, informed and generous. Bottini is lucky to have her! Outstanding service , the company I was using left me with out heat for an entire week , I was told the part for my furnace was hard to get , after calling freedom propane asking if the part was it yet I was told maybe another week . The temp was in the 20s and getting colder . I remembered Vinny from the club always saying good things about Bottini , he said he worked there , and told us if we ever switched it would be a good move . I took a chance and called Bottini , explained what had happened , from the time of my call to my furnace back up and running it was less than two hours . The Bottini service man told me the part for my furnace is a common part there was no reason I should have been out of heat for a week and still waiting . Since I have a wood stove, my propane deliveries are spaced far apart. However, because of a medical issue I knew I would not be using my wood stove as much for a few weeks. I love this company. I don't know if they are family owned, but as a client you really feel as though they are - and that you are part of the family. I live at the end of a winding narrow drive way and heat my house with a wood stove through most of the cold season. 2 Other oil companies gave me grief about delivering in small amounts and also that my driveway could not accommodate their trucks in icy weather. This meant that I had to 1) make sure that I was not "wasting" their time for a partial delivery and 2) that I made sure not to need oil when their trucks would prefer not to come down the driveway. I was on my third oil company when I called Bottini. Despite being much further away than Burke or Check, they were happy to take me on as a client even when I apologetically explained that I heat with wood and have a less than luxurious driveway.
With Bottini Fuel we clients often get courtesy calls to make sure we check our gauges before a cold snap and often cheerfully offer to top off my tank. And they have never complained about access, even when I accidentally left my car in the way of the pump and the delivery person had to use a hose. He was not bothered in the least about having to hoist an Anaconda sized hose forty feet down to the pump. I was mortified when I realized and ran out too late to be helpful. These guys are the best on service too. Courteous, and economically minded. Sorry for the long post but am a big fan of Bottini Fuel. (See More)

I have been a Bottini oil customer for almost 30 years but was using a different company for propane for our pool heater. Pool heater fire which I ultimately learned was due to incorrect installation by the other company. Called that company to come the day of the fire, they sent someone but couldn't get a straight answer.
Called Bottini --they had a team here in hours, redid the install correctly and professionally.
The other company came, picked up their tanks and never refunded my money for unused gas(as they promised) until I called to ask for my money! Great way to say thanks to a long time customer.
The Bottini experience is 5 stars for all these years with oil and has been just the same with propane. Should have switched years ago.

I have to express how nice your service team is at Bottini. I've had over utility companies over charged us, send us the wrong bills, and never pick up the phone. I called the other day to open an account and Dana Capuano was so helpful. She went out of her way to get us the best price and track down a tricky online charge. Even though she wouldn't be in the next day, she handed me off to Tammy Osterhout who did a great job. Their communication was so helpful and made our transition to Bottini seamless.
We have twins on the way and we've been stressed about our bills. Dana and Tammy went the extra mile and it really made a difference. Thanks for all you do. (See More)
