A simple check up turned into a complete replacement of my heater! Jimmy came to do the check up and had to deliver the hard news. He was professional and understanding. John and Austin came to do the replacement and were very professional, thorough and easy to have in the house. The final step was a complete duct cleaning done my Joey. He was helpful and offered suggestions to make my system stay as clean as he got it. Action is a great company with a great staff. (See More)

Tim Godwin inspected and serviced my two furnaces on 10/15/18. Tim is very efficient in performing the inspections and kept me informed as he proceeded through the process. He’d made a minor repair on a duct leak and informed me of the need for a check valve in the cooling system should there be water build up in the condenser tray. I am pleased with his service call. Jimi H came out and from the moment he greeted me I knew I'd like him. He was a very happy guy and he shared that happiness with me as well. I am always worried about getting ripped off when it comes to the servicing of my home. Their are more shady companies, than there are reputable. This company actually shocked me. The professionalism and how he showed evidence of the problem was common sense. The price was warranted and fair. What SHOCKED me even more, is that I called them on 07/05/2017; so far the hottest day in SLC and he come out same day. I called their competitor first as they did work in my home previously and they could not come until 2 days after my call. This is the great American business we all miss. I scheduled a furnace tune-up and as a result, found out I needed a new furnace due to a tiny crack in the heat exchange. Jimi was very helpful, as was his supervisor who was called in to check the crack and confirm. Then two other servicemen removed the old furnace and installed the new one. When they left, the furnace was working, but the next day it wasn't. I had Larry come and check it, and he said a fuse blew inside the furnace and a wire needed to be repaired. I appreciated the fact that he came out even though it was later in the evening. When he left, the new furnace was working. The following day it was not working once again. Jeff came and had it working in a brief time. He was friendly, kind, as were the others, but he seemed to be a good deal more knowledgeable about this type of furnace, instructing me on how it should work, what to listen for, watch for, etc. Jeff mentioned that a couple of things were not connected properly. All in all, I am pleased with the furnace and the friendly service people, but a little disappointed that it took several visits and 2 days to get everything right. (See More)

Jimi Hayes came to my house from Action Plumbing. He was there for a safety inspection. I sat and talked to him as he showed me around the insides of my furnace. He was a wonderful person to talk to and very pleasant to get acquainted with. The only thing I did not like about the whole experience was the barrage of e-mails and phone calls from Action Plumbing prior to and after the inspection. I'm all for communication, but this got to the point of annoying. (See More)

Jimmy came to my home today for a regular AC tune-up. He was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and around my children. Jimi was very helpful in servicing our furnaces. I was worried that one was suffering efficiencies because of recent construction dust. He confirmed that it was quite dirty, and showed me the dust. He took out the blower motor and fan, acid washed and rinsed the unit. We had a second unit serviced, which he said was quite clean. Jimi was personable, polite and answered all my questions. I called to get the $33 tune up special. Jimi was fantastic! He was very personable and knowledgeable. He informed me up front that if he noticed anything that needed to be repaired or replaced, it would be an additional charge. When he was done, he said the furnace was just fine, and he did not try to strong-arm me into buying a new unit. (although he did say when we are ready, he would be happy to sell me one). He was very professional throughout the process. I would have trusted him to work on my furnace with no one home. I would recommend Jimi for any project! (See More)
