Larry B. did an excellent job fixing a slipshod job done by the first Action Plumbing tech. The first tech seemed in a rush to replace the motor in our furnace. Within an hour of his leaving the furnace started making a terrible noise. I called with the complaint and Larry B. showed up in less than one hour. Larry took his time to install the part correctly. He was thorough, polite and made sure everything was running properly before he left. Great job!!! (See More)

I've been a customer of Action Plumbing and Heating for years. They've always been prompt, fair, and courteous. They always seem to have a deal going, and they try to get me the best price they can. I'm generally a bargain hunter, switching providers and companies to get the best price, but I've stuck with these guys ever since I've found them, and I'd recommend them to anyone! (See More)

Larry B. came to our home in the middle of a snow storm and I waved him to the garage door. I had an old towel for him to step on and he smiled and said I can do even better than that and pulled out his booties. He came as a result of a call from the company for service maintenance. When he heard the whistle that has been around for years he literally just pulled out the fan to investigate. He replaced the orifice which had a small diameter with a larger one and now as soon as the first kicks in the whistle stops. I have never had a technician that was a proactive and thorough as Larry. I asked for his card so I could always ask for him. He's a keeper. (See More)

I was given a 3-6 PM time frame. At 3:00, I was called promptly and was told I was on the radar and would be notified 30 minutes ahead of the tech. getting to my home; they did call and gave me a heads up and the tech, Larry B. arrived in a timely manner. He arrived closer to the 3:00 time instead of the later time. Larry was friendly and professional. He was honest and explained everything in detail for a lay person. He seemed happy to be doing his job; never seemed rushed. When a problem was encountered, he explained all options to remedy my AC from repair to replacement, but I didn't feel pressured to replace (the higher cost). I appreciate his friendliness and professionalism. I'd recommend Action to friends and family; I'll call and request Larry if we need service in the future. (See More)

A few years ago we had a new furnace installed and the team did a good job replacing my old one with a new furnace. Recently we noticed some water leaking under the furnace, and I thought maybe the condensation box inside the unit was not working properly. I called the team and one of their technician came to look at the unit. As I was showing him the water pool under the unit I have lifted the drain pipe up, which came apart right there. It is safe to say that was the problem. I was informed, that he can glue it back. It will be $59.95, which is their initial charge to respond. (also the tune up charge) Since we did not have a tune up for a few years, I have asked him to perform one now, since he is here, and I am hesitant to justify paying so much for gluing up a joint, that I could have done, if I knew what the problem was. At first he was reluctant to put the effort into it, however he did perform the tune up. I will still use the company, but this changed my experience from positive to neutral. (See More)

Woke up to a freezing home one morning, to only find out that my furnace broke. After hours of searching and knowing that this time of year all furnace repair companies will be slammed with service repair calls and I had no luck. Until I called the amazing Mary at Action plumbing and heating. I told her my situation and I needed someone out to fix it asap. She was so kind and professional that she got Larry out to my house in less than 20 min (other companies told me they were booked til the next day). It was Amazing!! Thank you Mary!! Ashley too also was so kind over the phone and reminded me when the guys were coming out. Once Larry came over he was soooo kind, professional and patient with me and taking the time to explain and making sure I understood what happened and what was the best resolution for my problem and made sure I was taken care of through out the day. Action you all got a customer for life!! Never once I felt taken advantage of and all I felt was being treated like I was family! (See More)

We are selling our home and during an inspection a water leak on our AC and gas leak on the line to our water heater were found. We needed to have this fixed immediately and called Action Plumbing and Heating. They responded the same day we called and Larry (technician) arrived right at the scheduled time. He was very courteous and friendly. Although he was only a technician for the AC issue he also said he would check to see if he could help with the gas leak. He identified and fixed both issues within 15 minutes and saved us from having to call for an additional technician to fix the gas leak. We will continue to use Action for all future heating and air needs. Thanks Larry and Action for the great service provided. (See More)

I live in a third floor condo that makes A/C and Heating repairs a pain. My A/C unit went out last week. I called Action (not as a previous client) and within 24 Hours I had a new unit installed and working. I want to especially praise the service staff for their professionalism and courtesy. The job became more than Action had anticipated and yet my bill stayed the same. Imagine that in this day and time! I know for the technicians, the job was scheduled for 3 hours and took almost 9 hours. Even through the frustrations, Dominick and his assistant were pleasant and insured me they wouldn't leave until my family had a working unit. They were true to their word. Larry came out the following day and adjusted the refrigerant levels. I am very impressed from the bottom to the top. I highly recommend Action - Great Job Action! (See More)

We are very pleased with Action Plumbing & Heating, they will be only the company we plan on using. Our house needed servicing, so I asked my Mom and Dad who they'd recommend, and they really like Action Plumbing & Heating, so we gave them a try. Larry Browne was our technician, and we really liked him. He was very nice, and took the time to explain things to me and show me what he was talking about. Our positive experience was reinforced even more so when we were going to try and get something fixed that Larry told us about and showed us. After his visit, Larry was so nice and honest that he even asked us if we had a new home purchase warranty. We really appreciated that since we didn't even think about that (that's embarrassing and our fault for being dummies). If he wouldn't have said something, we would've just done the servicing needs through him. Larry was so honest and considerate that he told us about the warranty even though that meant that he wouldn't be getting the service job, because home warranties use their own contracted companies. So we did the service call through our home warranty so that hopefully they would cover the cost since we already paid for the warranty. A different company came to our house for the service call, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it made me appreciate Larry a lot more. This other technician definitely knew a lot, but he definitely seemed to be in a rush. He told me a lot of stuff with all his air conditioning knowledge, which I didn't really understand, me not having an advanced knowledge of air conditioning. He just really seemed to be in a rush to get in and out and didn't take much time to explain things to me so that I would understand. It made me realize how much more pleasant Larry Browne was. I felt comfortable asking him all my questions and I felt like he really cared. The warranty didn't cover what we needed done, so now we will be calling Larry to have the work done. I highly recommend Action Plumbing & Heating and Larry Browne, they are wonderful. (See More)

Larry came to our home to take a look at our A/C unit. He was punctual, respectful, and very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and was very informative. We also had our ducts cleaned, they were very thorough and assured the cleaning would help with our allergies. Sure thing, just in time for the change in season! When Larry arrived I threw him a curve ball saying we had 2 furnaces instead of one. One in attic and one in crawlspace but it had a ladder to go down to it. He said I have a curveball of my own I have bad knees and I might not be able to get between those 2 inch rafters. He was glad we did not have that type of set up. He had plenty of room to work in the attic and in the crawl space he could stand up under the house. It all worked out fine and he checked both furnaces and both wer working fine no problems. The communication about an earlier scheduled appointment for February 23rd could have been better, we were told that someone would come after 12pm, but heard nothing again until after 7pm. I prefer a narrower window for the time of arrival or more frequent communication updates about the expected time of arrival. The dispatcher was courteous, and the technician was prompt. My appointment for a furnace check-up was between 11 AM and 2 PM, and the technician called at 10:30 to confirm, he said he could be here in 10 minutes, or wait until my time at 11. When he arrived, he was tidy, and left things the way they were found. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. He called ahead to let me know he was on his way, which was great because that meant that I didnt have to stay at home until he came, I was free to run a couple errands and get back in time for his arrival. Action Plumbing installed a new water heater, furnace and air conditioning unit in my old home this year. My previous furnace and water heater went out one day apart. All of my new equipment is working well and I am pleased. Larry B. from Action Plumbing came out today for a tuneup type check before winter. He came on time, was courteous, friendly, and knew what he was doing. He recommended that I only cover the top of my new A/C equipment during the winter as covering the full unit could cause retention of moisture and lead to rust. I really appreciated this added information as I had been planning to fully cover my new A/C unit as I had my prior swamp cooler. (See More)
