This company is fast! Jeff was great. He was here to diagnose within 90 minutes of my call to dispatch. He gave options to replace the broken furnace fan or put in a new unit. We chose to replace the fan and he had it replaced the next day. (See More)

Everyone at Action takes good care of me every time I call. Mary and Claudia are both friendly and helpful and do whatever they can to help me make appointments when it makes sense. The other day I needed someone to come out while my roofer was working on my home due to an issue with a vent going through my roof (or not, as it were). Robert came out. He called me when he was 20 minutes from home, met me there, talked directly with the roofing crew, examined the situation, and made the best determination for my situation. He also helped me sign up for the annual maintenance plan which will save me a lot of time, hassle, and money. Robert was very helpful in explaining things to me about the setup of my house and vents and called an HVAC specialist at Action to get a second opinion during the process since it turned out to be an HVAC issue as opposed to a plumbing issue. Previously I've had Aaron out to help me out and he is equally as excellent. I always feel comfortable with Action at my home and I know I can count on them to get the job done right and to charge a fair price. Other plumbers and HVAC has disgustingly high "book pricing" for simple repairs that take 15 minutes or less. I had another plumber out to make a repair when Action wasn't available and my wallet was very sorry. The guys at Action are friendly, professional, and they know ME and my house. They make that effort. I just talked to a coworker this morning and recommended she call Action because she needs a new plumbing and HVAC company. I can't say enough good things about Action. I even was able to schedule my annual furnace tuneup on a day that works for me (SATURDAY!). And it just makes me feel so good to know they will always help me work things out. (See More)

Great communication and very competent work. I was kept informed as to when the technician would arrive 3 times. Good to know. Taylor was competent and finally fixed an ongoing gas fireplace problem that another service could not. We asked him to come back and service our other fireplace. (See More)

Finally got around to finishing my basement. I had a bathroom that needed drains run for a shower, toilet, vanity, and also a kitchenette sink on the opposite side of the bathroom wall. I already took the time myself to trench out the concrete floor to expose the existing stubs and made routes for the new locations. Being this project was small, it was extremely challenging to get a plumber over to complete it which in my case was necessary due to building permit. I made a call in the afternoon and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Billy arrived in the morning and was friendly, professional, and thorough. He was able to knock out the whole job in a few hours with his helper and provided his license number for my permit. I feel like the price was slightly steep, but considering the availability of less than 24 hours, vs. 0 availability from numerous other contractors, I feel like it was justified. (See More)

Ron P, hands-down, wins my vote for MVP of Action Plumbing! He installed 4 new commodes by himself, start to finish, in 1 day plus a few more hours. He was definitely tired by the time he finished; may have even been feeling the effects of a cold, but still worked harder, faster, and professionally, more than I have seen in a long, LONG time! We recently moved into a new house - the heating units are less than 2 years old - but when we discovered that the builder *never put filters in*, I called Action to have everything checked out. Matt was very thorough and gave us complete information about our units and why we weren't getting heat in a couple of rooms. We now have a Service Contract with them and I feel great about them coming out in the spring to make sure our cooling units are ready too cool for the summer! (See More)

I scheduled a furnace tune-up and as a result, found out I needed a new furnace due to a tiny crack in the heat exchange. Jimi was very helpful, as was his supervisor who was called in to check the crack and confirm. Then two other servicemen removed the old furnace and installed the new one. When they left, the furnace was working, but the next day it wasn't. I had Larry come and check it, and he said a fuse blew inside the furnace and a wire needed to be repaired. I appreciated the fact that he came out even though it was later in the evening. When he left, the new furnace was working. The following day it was not working once again. Jeff came and had it working in a brief time. He was friendly, kind, as were the others, but he seemed to be a good deal more knowledgeable about this type of furnace, instructing me on how it should work, what to listen for, watch for, etc. Jeff mentioned that a couple of things were not connected properly. All in all, I am pleased with the furnace and the friendly service people, but a little disappointed that it took several visits and 2 days to get everything right. (See More)

Jimi was the best service tech I have ever met. My four-year-old was intrigued by what he was doing and Jimi spent the 20 min entertaining him with jokes and stories. My wife and I were blown away by the service. They came faster than they quoted and the price was perfect. I will definitely be calling Jimi and Action Plumbing if a need arises in the future. Woke up to a freezing home one morning, to only find out that my furnace broke. After hours of searching and knowing that this time of year all furnace repair companies will be slammed with service repair calls and I had no luck. Until I called the amazing Mary at Action plumbing and heating. I told her my situation and I needed someone out to fix it asap. She was so kind and professional that she got Larry out to my house in less than 20 min (other companies told me they were booked til the next day). It was Amazing!! Thank you Mary!! Ashley too also was so kind over the phone and reminded me when the guys were coming out. Once Larry came over he was soooo kind, professional and patient with me and taking the time to explain and making sure I understood what happened and what was the best resolution for my problem and made sure I was taken care of through out the day. I called Action Plumbing (along with a couple of other bids). An estimator (Mary F.) came to our house to look at our old 1962 Lennox furnace. She was very knowledgeable and polite. She gave us a bid with several options and price ranges. As far as the hot water heater and the plumbing in this old house, she sent over their expert plumber (Ron P.) he was straight forward no bs and took the time to show my wife and I the issues that old galvanized plumbing could bring us. We went through the whole house. He presented us with a bid that was far lower than we expected and threw in a 50gal hot water heater for free. My wife and I liked the professionalism and knowledge from Action Plumbing the best out of the several bids that we had estimated. This is the second time I've used Action in my life, I'm impressed. Mary Forakas worked with us to understand our purchase 100 % She asked what our expectations were in price, efficiency, and features. she did a walk around with us and gave us time to compare. In the end the Installers were friendly and courteous with my family. I was at work. We had a big job done on a four level split home, They installed the attic fan completely and the furnace and AC and the best part was the ionic particle air cleaner ( i love it ) . One day ! They installed the wrong thermostat that we agreed on but Mary will bring it out next week when I have my vents cleaned. She did a follow up visit after the install to make sure we were happy.
