They came out and did the duct cleaning and did a good job. It should have been done last December but it wasn't arranged. I hadn't moved into the home yet so it would have been easier to do then. But I was told that I should have it done every 2 to 3 years anyway so it's not that big of a deal. Now I just have to try to find out why the HE furnace that Action installed wasn't approved for the rebate by the Gas company like I was told it would be. It's always something... (See More)

Thurs evening at dinner time, our air conditioner quit working. We called Action and they sent Shawn out by about 8 pm. He checked out the unit, which, of course, had completely died. He was respectful and informative. He did not try to up sale us. We ordered the new unit and scheduled installation for next day. Mike and Josh, the installers, were also very respectful of our home and our time. Josh took particular care to hold the door each time he came in so that it would not slam. They were on top of their job and worked efficiently. We appreciate the good care we were given, which is typical for Action. We have always had good results. (See More)

Extremely professional, very timely and explained all work that needed to be done in laments terms and great detail. I was stuck at work he called me, after talking to my wife. Our house had been 85 degrees all week. My wife had been couped up in one room in the house under a small ac unit because she needs to keep cool being that she is 8.5 months pregnant. Jose came to our rescue overseeing all the aspects of our ac system while keeping me informed! The amount he quoted was reasonable and didn't break the bank. I can't say enough good things about my very first experience with a repair company being a first time home buyer. Thank you action my house is now a respectable 73 degrees. (See More)

I had a plumbing problem with my basement bathroom and called Action, they were to my place within three hours. Miko was the technician and he was able to take care of the problems (clogged toilet and sink). Miko was polite and very professional. A well oiled machine from beginning to end! We had a backed up pipe in the basement that they quickly identified to being something not major, and took care of the issue for under $100. Brent was knowledgable, and genuinely concerned about if there was mold, in which he provided additional information that helped me to research further after he left to make a decision to move forward with getting it looked at. We were completely pleased with the Action plumber's work. He said he was sending "Jesse" to do the clean up and sanitizing. He did not say this was a totally different company and that the charges for the clean-up would be very expensive. When Jesse came, he wanted to do extensive sanitizing including duct work, and the totals estimate was $1500. He made it sound like our health would be in jeopardy if we did not do it.
Subsequently a friend came by - she has had extensive experience and said the work was far beyond what was necessary. We contacted Jesse and listed the work we wanted done.
The Action man should have told us that it was a different company, and given us some indication of the
Extent of the damage he found. We have had much more extensive basement flooding before and don't remember having this kind of referral before. Is this a new policy? (See More)

Fixed what could be fixed. Our electrician and plumber spent some time assessing our problems and making recommendations for what we needed to do for things they couldn't fix. They didn't charge us for time or visits where they helped troubleshoot but couldn't fix the problem. They were very good at what they did and very fair in what they charged. (See More)

Immediate response to a hot water heater leaking on the floor. Jason, the technician was at the house in less than 30 minutes. He diagnosed the issue and then offered us options to correct the problem. We elected to replace the unit. He was back at the house with the replacement in 45 minutes and the entire job was completed in less than four hours.
