We moved into a 17 year old house last November. We have an issue with the airflow where some rooms have too much air (both heating and cooling) and other rooms have little to no airflow out of the vents. This means some rooms are way too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. We spend several hundred dollars on another Heating and Cooling company, but they didn't solve the problem. I finally called AA Service Co. from the advice of a coworker. Tim B. was the technician at our house an d he was fantastic! He was very pleasant, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Plus, he was the only technician to make a noticeable difference in the airflow in our house! I can't say it's perfect, but that's more the problem with the duct work and dampers than anything else. After solving that issue, he then took his time to clean and do the standard winter maintenance on our furnace. Tim called me 10 minutes before arrival to let me know he was on his way. Everything he did was okayd with me prior to doing it. Tim was out recently to service my A.C. for the summer. I always request Tim, because he's very competent, personable, thorough and he has become quite familiar with my system. I appreciate that he calls before his arrival. He explains procedures, answers my questions, and tells me the condition of the A.C. He's very neat and clean, wears his blue booties in the house, and cleans up thoroughly. He makes notes on the furnace vent of work performed, which is very helpful to have. I had a new humidifier installed last fall, and Tim showed me the switch on the other side of the humidifier to change for summer. It was not visible, when facing the furnace, and I didn't recall being told about it at the installation. Fortunately, he pointed that out to me, so that I will know to change it, if I switch to heat before the fall checkup.
