We just had Greg come by from Total Comfort Solutions and fix our boiler for an aging radiator system. He was very thorough and explained everything including the fact that this was a steam boiler not hot water! He was able to fix the problem with the leak and the radiators, and now we have a working system in prime condition - better than ever! I would recommend Greg and TCS to anyone for this kind of work.

Gave helpful tip on when too change batteries in thermometer, however, husband ended up helping install. Very courteous and respectful.. just a bit slow too install a thermometer.

Most recently the service review showed that some repair on my home gas furnace was indicated but when the repairman came he recommended waiting. It wasn't as worn as it had appeared. My only suggestion is that when working on a fireplace that a covering be placed on the floor to avoid getting stains and material on the carpet.

My only suggestion is that when working on fireplace inserts that a carpet covering be placed in front of the fireplace to avoid the carpet being stained.

Before today I felt confident about Total Comfort Solutions service. Todays service was totally different from previous times and left me feeling uncomfortable. Although CP seemed a nice enough fellow, he got off to a bad start with me when I watched him drive over the pile of leaves I'd raked, as he parked his van the wrong direction on the street (illegally), and when he referred to his wife (?) as "the old lady" as he was talking with me. When he came into the house, I had to ask him to put shoe covers on, as all your previous technicians have done even when it wasn't wet and yucky outside. He spent much less time on his service than other techs have in the past, spending barely a couple minutes at the outside unit. This was so different from other technicians service that it made me wonder if he was being thorough. When he was done, he offered no detailed explanation of how things looked, as others always have. I can only hope that he did the things he was supposed to do but certainly didn't feel confident about it. Later, after he had left, I went to turn the thermostat temperature down and it said "HOLD". I'd never seen this before and called in to the office to tell them about it before seeing the hold button and realizing I could turn it off. He gave me a copy of my contract for 2018 and told me that he would email me an itemized statement later today. As of this evening, I haven't received that statement. I did ask him how long he'd been doing this work and he told me only 6 months, and that he was still learning. I understand being new, so I apologize for repeatedly comparing him to other technicians, but I feel the need to be honest and let you know my concerns. Although I can't help but be concerned about retaliation if he is told about my complaints, I would appreciate the service manager being made aware of my evaluation. Thank you.
