My experience with the last two plumbers at John Moore Services has been very bad (July 2018 & today April 4th 2019). They sent someone that I felt was going to deny any obligation on John Moore's part even though the part (floodstopper) was working prior to them disabling it in July 2018 after their plumber got the sensor wet and couldn't figure out how to get it to work again. The original reason I called them was the pilot kept going out, nothing to do with the floodstopper. After multiple attempts to fix, they replaced the water heater under the 12 year warranty (which I paid for in the price of the water heater, this new plumber that came today felt I was indignant that I was complaining about the previous service and that plumber even though John Moore replaced under warranty for a bad water heater). The previous plumber 1) walked into my house without knocking and I immediately escorted him back into the garage as I never gave him permission to enter nor did he need to for the service needed, 2) turned my water off without telling me and then was going to leave and pick up the new water heater and be gone for 2-3 hours, and 3) I just don't think understood how to work around an issue that didn't fit into a box. The July plumber didn't know how to get the water heater to work and disconnected the floodstopper and pipe it was connected to and said he would come back to fix it since it was getting late and I was going on vacation so I was going to need to reschedule but did not want to deal with him again. The new plumber that came today immediately said it was a bad floodstopper system and I would have to buy and pay for a new one. The floodstopper worked before the original plumber showed up as I had hot water when the pilot light was working, if it was broken I would never have hot water. I have no way to prove this, but I felt they were going to deny having any responsibility for what their earlier plumber did. The only reason I got the water heater under warranty was because he witnessed it wasn't working and the normal fix by changing out the pilot unit caused the problem to get worse and the pilot wouldn't stay lit at all. So they had to replace the water heater.

I had someone come out the same day I called. The technician was polite and informative. Their prices may be a little higher but they are professional and the office staff are all very friendly. The convenient financing options are nice as well.

0ur technician was Carlos (as well as another assistant who’s name I have unfortunately forgotten); they replaced my entire heating and A/C system. They were on time, which is important to me, courteous and very professional with the entire installation. Even more important to me is when the job was completed, the area in the Attic is much more cleaner than when they started, with even more space to walk around, which is another plus for me and my home. I couldn’t have asked for a better set of Technicians/ Installers. They also completed the job quicker that originally anticipated. Thanks for the exceptional work!!! We slept well last night after having no heat for two days.
