The crew that came to my house Ryan H, Ricardo and Cameron were extremely polite and professional. They made that everything was working perfectly before leaving. They did a great job. Brandon came out, on time and with the work order to perform the first scheduled maintenance of our Mitsubishi Heat Pump, with recently installed Aprilaire humidifier. Brandon, an ex-Army mechanic new to the Blue Flame company, was polite, efficient, and organized, had not been made aware of the humidifier which needed specific maintenance. He got on the horn (I'm an old Vietnam Vet), figured out what he needed to know and proceeded to do the required maintenance. We had purchased the high-end Mitsubishi unit for our modest but well-built and -maintained NE Seattle residence to replace the natural gas furnace, and to have air conditioning for the increasingly warm summers. It is, like any emerging technology, subject to unexpected aberrations. Blue Flame has done a good, though not yet great, job of installing and servicing their Mitsubishi units. The people are excellent, responsible, with consistent customer service. They are dealing with a rapidly-changing home-energy technology that challenges the management and service capabilities of their staff. I would give the technicians 4 or 5 stars.

I have a Honeywell Electronic Air Purifier with reusable filters. I have not been good more recently about cleaning them often and apparently there's been some buildup of dust on my blower. It is fair to point out that the filters need to be cleaned and that it contributes to buildup that shortens the life of the furnace. However, when the technician cleaned everything, she must have used pressure against the filters when they weren't properly supported and severely bent them. She also washed the non-reusable filter and ruined them. She did not appear qualified to clean or comment on my equipment. To top it off, I felt criticized for choosing to Electronic Air Purifier/Filter in my furnace, and am extremely upset about bending/damaging my reusable filters. If I do need to replace my furnace I will not be using Blue Flame.

1- Two technicians showed up at the place to do a service on AC and Furnace. One of them was a trainee. The main issue for me was that a job that probably should take 2 hours, took from around 9 to 1 PM. I had to stay at home while they were doing the job, and I was charged the same price. 2- They will try to sell you a subscription for a year, that you cannot cancel. They promise a discount if you have subscription, however, their prices are so high that even with discount it is still high. For example, they charged me 324 dollars for changing a capacitor. Note that they already charged about 240 to do the maintenance, and I can see the capacitor is already opened and in his hand! Initially, I thought the actual capacitor is that expensive. However, the most expensive capacitor is around $20 and connecting it only takes 1 minutes. So you can see the markup! I can see that they have to pay for their cost and I wasn't expecting 20 for capacitor. maybe $100 3- They are not your end to end expert :( the system is little complicated system with zoning. They won't be able to figure those out. In fact, my technician couldn't turn on furnace using thermostat. He wired couple of things on my furnace and told me look it works. Note that the system is not rocket science. It is multi stage furnace with Honeywell controllers, and Trane zoning system. Not complicated! 4- Their senior technician was supposed to call me, and she/he never did. Hopefully, I can get out of their subscription system next year :)

The main issue for me was that a job that probably should take 2 hours, took from around 9 to 1 PM. The salesman was friendly, he listened to my needs and answered my questions, and was knowledgeable about the entire system--another company put the air conditioner in improperly. They were the 2nd lowest bid, but I went with them because I had more confidence in the company. Communication with the office was a breeze. Luis and his installation team were on time, polite, kept me informed, walked me through the changes, and cleaned everything up before leaving. They corrected the error made by the ac company and ensured that the whole system is up to code. It's obvious that the company strives to provide good customer service.

Bought our air conditioner from Blue Flame several years ago. Along with the purchase I got two years of free tune-up maintenance. For every customer I've referred to the company I get an additional year. I think I still have about four more years of referral maintenances to go. I was so impressed with their service, installation and continued services, since my original purchase. Those friends I've referred have bought from Blue Frame have been impressed and have referred more customers. This year Brad came out and gave me bad, good, and worst news. The bad news was that the man who had been helping me put a french drain into the yard had been shoveling dirt too close to the unit when it was on and it was now clogged, causing the motor to overwork, overheat, and leak oil. Brad had it clean within about thirty minutes. It was an additional cost because he had to take the entire unit apart and do more than the basic maintenance. Brad also did the maintenance for my furnace, since the cold months are approaching fast. Good news is that it's ready for the winter. The worst news is my heater is an older unit and I have very poor ductwork in my home. It's going to require a new unit. Brad spent additional time telling me exactly what was wrong. Showed me every component, explained to me how each piece worked, and gave me the possible culprits if it breaks down. I asked him about replacing the components that were going bad. I could do that but by the time I do it would be about he same price to buy a new heater. I had talked with Keller, there sales representative, the week before Brad came out and already know the price to replace the entire unit. I can't afford it right now but it's in my budget. Keller has been exceptional at offering solutions, including telling me about their financing options which includes a 6 month Zero Interest through GreenSky. If you read this review, mention my name to the office. Maybe I'll get another year of maintenance! :)

I am still waiting for a call from your permit coordinator about the proper permit for the furriness, the Wondering Creek HOA said that the State L&I handled all permits for manufactured homes. The HOA called the State L&I and they were told that they would inform you of this.

We just had an A/C unit installed. The team did an really good job overall. Kailana was very responsive over whenever logistical questions we had and Kyler did prompt in answering my questions about different A/C systems and the pros and cons of each one. The rest of the team was great to work with and did a good job installing the A/C unit. They even cleaned the inside of our furnace when they took it down to install the cooling coil. They very neatly put up some new duct work. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because they forgot to turn on our water heater after the install (which we only realized after we couldn't take a hot shower the next day) and didn't bring quite enough gravel to put under the pad the A/C unit sits on.

We've been using Blue Flame for the last 5 years to do our yearly maintenance on our heating and ac. The time had come to replace both unit (they were 18 years old) and we chose Blue Flame to do the work. The technicians (Steve, Shawn and Dane) were amazing - prompt, friendly and very communicative. We hit a bump in the road during the installation and Blue Flame went above and beyond to address the issue and make sure we were 100% satisfied with the outcome. I would highly recommend them - they stand by their work - outstanding customer service all around.

Pros - The installers of this company were super nice and courteous. They knew what they were doing and took the time to explain what was going on. Cons - The sales guy who gave us the quote missed some key details like the height of the house. On the day of the installation, the installers said that they would need boom lift and since they had not rented one this would delay the installation. After that I got no update from this company as to when they could complete the installation. Every time I called our coordinator he gave a standard response that he has no information and would let me know as soon as they ere able to find a boom lift. Finally after 3 days when I called the office and asked for their supervisor, I got a call back in 5 mins and they scheduled the installation date for next week. The AC got installed on Tuesday and after installation they left the Boom lift outside my house in front of the mailbox to be picked up by the company next morning. Today its Friday and the Boom list was still outside my house blocking the mailbox. I have called the company twice and still don't know when exactly it will get picked. This has been a pretty frustrating experience. The only good part is that the AC is now working!

At no time did we feel pressured to purchase anything other than the system that was right for our house and our family. The installation was handled expertly and efficiently by everyone that we spoke with and each individual that came to out house was pleasant and knowledgeable. Steven R., the technician, arrived promptly on schedule, was courteous, personable and consummately professional. He took the time to make certain the evaluation was done well and that we as customers understood the test procedure and function. He explained the test results thoroughly in layman's terms and answered all of our questions carefully and completely. Our experience was exceptional and our technician was a true professional. We have already recommended Blue Flame Heating and Air Conditioning to our friends and neighbors.

Angel went out of his way to find a better solution for location of our air conditioner unit, even though it meant more work for him and his team, he wanted to make sure we were happy with it. They left the garage cleaner than when they arrived in the morning. If I had any questions after they left, they said do not hesitate to call. I am so excited for our new furnace and air conditioner. Now if only the weather would cooperate and stop raining. If I could give these guys 10 stars I would! Thank you Angel, Josh C, Steven and Jason!!!
