We bought a heater from Blue Flame one year ago and were very happy with the price and installation. After one year, they provide free service. The technician who came to the house told us we needed to upgrade our filtration system, air ranger and air scrubber for over $2700. To me, that’s either saying they sold us a substandard system originally or are trying to scam us for money. Either way, no way I’d ever recommend this company to anyone I know.

They did a wrong diagnostic, charged for it and took for ever to order the parts needed, we ended up canceling the service and calling a different company. This new company came right away, check the furnace and had it running in less than 30min and charged less for the part.

Was expecting a small repair, but as it turned out we are in need of a new furnace. Branbon was very good at explaining to us all our options, and took his time and answered all our questions.

Every one was great and very helpful. I bought a new central heat system and added A/C. The folks at Blue Flame made this a seamless transition from old tired heater to a new and efficient system. I would and will use them in the future. The final install looks great they took the time to do it right. The refer and electrical lines are neat and clean. The mechanical inspector even gave them props for correct placement of the little dryer thing that goes on the refrigerant lines. The inspector said most people put it by the A/C unit but it should be close to the coil, which is where they placed it. Great job, use Blue Flame with confidence. They are not going to be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. They are not going to be the cheapest bet but you get what you pay for and Blue Flame will be your best bet.

Tech seemed knowledgeable and thorough. The disappointment is that their trucks aren’t stocked with common name brand parts to eliminate return visits, (even though their advertising states they do). Purchased a full system, Rheem prestige high efficiency furnace and A/C from them (a main product line they sell). You’d think they would stock parts that commonly fail but apparently the business model doesn’t include that and would rather make return trips; further inconveniencing the customer. Maybe it’s because they can charge a diagnostic fee (visit 1) and then an installation fee (visit 2) but if you buy their labor warranty (monthly fee) visit 2 is at no charge! Such a deal! In the meantime, no heat waiting for parts and a call that we’ve been worked in the service schedule.

Our one year maintenance visit on the furnace installed last year was scheduled and carried out very efficiently. The staff were both excellent and I would highly recommend them. The reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that I was dumbfounded that a maintenance visit would not automatically include a replacement filter. That should be the top reason for maintenance. I did buy the filter and have it installed, it just should have been included in my opinion

I have been with Blue Flame for a very long time. Carl is an excellent technician and treats my furnace as if it was his own. He showed me everything as he went through the process. One item had to be changed this time. I am glad he found it. He is really helping me prolong the life of my furnace so I can save some money. Plus I was able to get a discount on that part since I have a contract with them. It is a win-win situation. I also love the idea of them coming to my house once a year to check all my electrical outlets and deal with any problems I am having with my electricity. It gives me peace of mind. Shari

Sales person, office staff, and installation crew were all top notch. Equipment is great. Would use Blue Flame again and did sign up for the maintenance plan which is a good deal. Very satisfying experience.
