Our boiler wasn't turning on and I was 99% sure it was an electrical issue. A few companies came and couldn't diagnose the exact problem... some even tried saying that we'd need to completely rewire our boiler to our circuit breaker box. We were getting quotes as high as $800. Ed P. from Woolley came and was able to figure out the issue and have it fixed within 30 minutes. He was also extremely nice! This morning, Ed P, of Wooley Home Solutions, serviced our 8 year-old gas furnace. He certainly is clearly is a professional. Ed P is friendly, quiet, and knowledgeable. I asked if might teach me how to change the special filter for my furnace and he did. I am choosing to change the filters more often than standard because I have two rescue cats.
I really appreciate that he taught me how to do so in between his normal visits.

Our hot water boiler blew at a couple nights ago. We lost heat and hot water. Ed, Dave, and Joe were here the very next morning, told us what happened and were off to the races. They were on time everyday, with no issues, and worked fast to get us heat and hot water. There work was second to none, done right and looking good. They even did a little extra work changing out a washer in our sink and helping with our steam boiler. when they were done they swept out every room they were in, not just were a little mess was, the whole room. Superb execution of a complex job.
Based on the recommendations by Art D., whom we've relied upon for many years, we embarked on a massive replacement of our entire HVAC system. This included removal of an in-ground fuel oil tank, installation of an above-ground outside fuel oil tank, and replacement of our furnace and air conditioner (including the outside condenser unit and the heat exchanger).
Kevin B. (Service Manager) was extremely attentive, promptly answering my many questions as we jointly coordinated the work of the Woolley technicians, outside contractors, insurance company representatives and the township permitting agency.
David B., Joe F., and Ed P. worked together as a great team, plotting out the best way to organize the multitude of tasks, large and small, and then executing them efficiently with a high degree of craftsmanship and with careful attention to minimizing the disruption of our home. Woolley just completed a complete HVAC renovation in our home and we couldn't be more pleased (and comfortable). Our old single zone system was very inefficient and uncomfortable. Because of our duct doing a traditional zoned system wasn't an option. Kevin worked with so many people I lost track to find the perfect solution (Arzel Zoning) with zoned controls that will make the winter/summer months much more comfortable and save money over time.
Joe and Ed did some amazing work with the installation of the equipment, new basement duct and Arzel damper installation. We ran into some problems with some areas not getting proper air flow and they made multiple adjustments until they had it working to our satisfaction.
Huge thank you to everyone at Woolley for helping make the project a success!

Ed P. responded to an emergency service call we placed for a loud grinding noise that appeared every time our furnace came on. Ed diagnosed the problem within minutes and told us either the water circulator motor would have to be replaced or it may possibly just be a component of the motor that needed to be repaired. Today was the first snowstorm of the season. About a foot of snow was expected. And, of course, our boiler went out. We called one company we've used in the past and they weren't sure they could get to us. We even called PSE&G (we were desperate) and were told they could come out tomorrow. Understandable since the roads were so treacherous, but we didn't want to spend 24 hours without heat. Finally, I googled emergency HVAC services and Woolley Home came up. I called and was told someone could come today. Within an hour, I received a call that they were on their way. They arrived earlier than expected. They were courteous, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any and all questions. One of the first things they said was, "We'll get you warm again in no time." It's hard to explain how much of a relief that was. They worked quickly and methodically and were done in less than an hour for a price that was far lower than expected (feared). We just had our old boiler replaced with a new one and also installed a Roth oil tank inside. The Woolley staff from the office personnel and Dave our adviser on the system to buy to the installers were very professional. Ed P and David B and Chris J showed up on time and started disassembling the old system while starting the install of the new tank. By the end of the first day the old system was out and the new boiler and tank was installed. The next day all was completed by midday. Ed P show me how to use the thermostat. Woolley just completed a complete HVAC renovation in our home and we couldn't be more pleased (and comfortable). Our old single zone system was very inefficient and uncomfortable. Because of our duct doing a traditional zoned system wasn't an option. Kevin worked with so many people I lost track to find the perfect solution (Arzel Zoning) with zoned controls that will make the winter/summer months much more comfortable and save money over time.
Joe and Ed did some amazing work with the installation of the equipment, new basement duct and Arzel damper installation. We ran into some problems with some areas not getting proper air flow and they made multiple adjustments until they had it working to our satisfaction.

After a hot weekend, Ed arrived at the scheduled time, asked sufficient questions to pinpoint the problem and began implementing a solution. Ed arrived early and went right to work on our oil-fired boiler, which had stopped working sometime during the night. Apparently, the fuel line that feeds the oil into the combustion chamber had clogged. Excellent response time and personal service. We had 2 issues with our furnace. 1st was a soot build up that was remedied immediately. I commented to Ed P at the time that I was adding water to the furnance more frequently than usual and he advised me of possible causes to look out for. The second was a repacement of the water shut-off. Once replaced, Ed and I discussed the continuing problem with frequent water replacement and I identified possble issues based on his prior comments. Since many of our pipes are in the walls or under the basement floor, he identified possible problem areas that I should continually check. A big shout out to Ed P for the great job repairing my no-heat, steam rediator this morning. He showed up on time and had no problem diagnosing the problem as a clogged pressure valve. Ed is reliable, fast and extremely knowledgeable. He came right away when I had a problem with the boiler which turned out that I missed the water nozzle and water was pouring in. But what really impressed me about Ed is when he came sometime last year on another service call and walked with me while I explained how the base heater was spitting out some much steam, I was melting. Ed adjusted the valves, to a look at my radiators, told me how to adjust them, he looked at my air conditioners in the windows, told me how to insulate them. There is nothing better than spend the day shoveling to come inside and realize that it's warmer outside than inside because the furnace decided to go on winter break. Urrrghhhh!!! I called Woolley and to my I dismay got the answering service and I thought to myself great I'm going to freeze to death. To my surprise Ed called me about 10 minutes and about a hour later was at my place. Ed fixed it quickly and shortly after it was toasty again. After I thanked and apologized for him having to come in the snow Ed said "Glad to help, that's what were here for." Now that's customer service! Everyone is great at Woolley but Ed gets extra brownie points for schlepping through the snow for me! (See More)

Ed the serviceman from Wooley's serviced one furnace and two AC's for me. All the units were working fine but we bought the house 18 months ago and we thought it wise to have a pro service them. Ed was prompt and friendly. The furnace had a clogged drainage pipe and the AC's needed fre-on and a good cleaning - they were filled with leaves and dirt. He was there about three or four hours. I passed on the service plan because the units are newer but if I were in my old house with its big 10-year old boiler for radiators, I would have gone for it. (See More)
