Our hot water boiler blew at a couple nights ago. We lost heat and hot water. Ed, Dave, and Joe were here the very next morning, told us what happened and were off to the races. They were on time everyday, with no issues, and worked fast to get us heat and hot water. There work was second to none, done right and looking good. They even did a little extra work changing out a washer in our sink and helping with our steam boiler. when they were done they swept out every room they were in, not just were a little mess was, the whole room. I would recommend these guys to anyone that needs work done. We are very pleased with the service we received. (See More)

They performed the work efficiently and cleanly, leaving the scene (both indoors and outdoors) at least as tidy as it was when they started. Initial tests indicate successful functioning of the new equipment but more extended evaluation must await the return of hot weather. So far I'm very pleased with the results. (See More)

I can not recommend Wooley Home Solutions highly enough. My antiquated heated and cooling system had to be replaced. It was a big job. The technicians from Woolley were outstanding. This is so unfair and unnecessary for it was issued while he was in my home fulfilling his responsibilities. He managed his work area well (left NO mess at all) and afterwards, provided me with a synopsis of what he had done. Woolley just completed a complete HVAC renovation in our home and we couldn't be more pleased (and comfortable). Our old single zone system was very inefficient and uncomfortable. Because of our duct doing a traditional zoned system wasn't an option. Kevin worked with so many people I lost track to find the perfect solution (Arzel Zoning) with zoned controls that will make the winter/summer months much more comfortable and save money over time. Joe and Ed did some amazing work with the installation of the equipment, new basement duct and Arzel damper installation. We ran into some problems with some areas not getting proper air flow and they made multiple adjustments until they had it working to our satisfaction. Although I am a long time customer of Woolley Fuel Company this was the first time I have used them for AC service. I have stream heat so my AC is a completely separate system with the heat exchanger located in the attic. Apparently the condensation drain got blocked last session and trapped water in the drainage pipe. The water froze and cracked the pipe resulting in a water leak on the second floor ceiling. I called Woolley on the morning of May 31, 2016 and was told they could have a technician there that afternoon if that was convenient. I agreed and asked if they had any idea about what time I could expect them. I was told it would most likely be some time after one or two. The technician, Joe, showed up just after two. After a brief inspection in the sweltering attic he crawled back down confirming what I expected. The pipe was indeed cracked. Joe said because of the inaccessibility the broken pipe in the attic it was a job better suited for 2 people and asked if he could come back the next morning with a helper. I agreed and he called his boss to confirm the appointment for nine the next morning, June 1, 2016. Just before nine the next morning Joe returned with a helper and all the tools and material needed to do the job. After repairing the broken pipe he sent his assistant outside to check on the discharge as he blew the pipe out to clean it. After confirming both the normal drainage pipe and the emergency backup pipe was clear he reinstalled the connections to the heat exchanger, with provisions for blowing the pipes out on a regular basis to keep them clear. Something that was not done when the unit was installed by others years ago. The job was completed in an hour as projected at a reasonable price. The two technicians were polite, insisted on sweeping up the little dirt they made, loose insulation that fell down through the access hole, even though I told them I would sweep up. Ed P and Joe F came out to the house to help fix our air conditioner. After a hot weekend, Ed arrived at the scheduled time, asked sufficient questions to pinpoint the problem and began implementing a solution. When he realized he didn't have a unique, specific part, he called in help. Joe arrived quickly and helped repair a PVC pipe which had to be cut to allow us access to the filter. They coupled the PVC pipe together so we can now replace the filter regularly with ease saving time and money. They provided an efficient solution in a timely fashion. Great job. (See More)

New to the area and homeownership, we took our time reviewing the service, pricing, and contracts of five companies. The difference came down to this: The others who did not get our service were either: A) 3x the price for the same scope, B) An hour late with no call, C) 3 weeks for a quote that was difficult to read and 2 weeks to review the quote. With Woolley, we discovered a company infrastructure with a human voice. When the weather is sub-zero and many people are without heat, it may be difficult to schedule a routine call, and that's because they are giving those in need their undivided attention. Take a close look at their pricing, and a close look at their service contract, then witness their handy work; it is thoughtful and smart. We've had routine maintenance, installations, upgrades, complex quotes, and emergencies; all handled professionally in a timely manner, with a fair amount of "above and beyond the call of duty" thrown in for good measure. With whomever you end up going with, you deserve quality work. They've set the bar for what I now expect from a service vendor. JW (See More)

The Better Business Bureau site, based on the questions I saw, will give a muddled and confusing impression of my experience. Technician arrived when I was told he would, in fact within 5 minutes of the appointed time. Answered a question I had about a minor alteration to my oil fill pipe. Although he did not have the parts needed to do the change he said he would list the parts needed for the alteration on my statement for follow up by the office to make the change. The service to the furnace was efficient and clean. There was no clean up required on my part after he left. I didn't even have to clean the sink where he dumped the water he had to drain. Very pleased with the service which was no surprise since I have been with Woolley for years and their service, rather scheduled or emergency in nature, has always been outstanding. (See More)

He also made note of the small water leak on the boiler plate just is case it becomes an issue later on. He left the work area spotless as well. I like to thank Joe F and Tom for the great and professional job they did. They were courteous always. When they needed to come in they always took off there shoes. They knew I was having a profession photographer at the house and when he showed up the guys put there trucks on the street so not to be in the picture. They cleaned up and left nothing behind. Last week Joe F, Dave and Ed from Woolley Fuel installed a fuel oil tank in my basement to replace an old in-ground tank that had to be removed. Their work was professional, neat and surprisingly unobtrusive, considering that they had to run tubing above a drop ceiling across the entire length of the basement to reach the furnace. When they were finished, they cleaned up all the debris and left the basement as clean as it had been when they started. A job well done (See More)

Joe was here at the beginning of the month with Dave. They did an extremely difficult job of replacing a pipe part on my boiler which looked very challenging, but in which they made look easy. They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently. the pipe worked looked so good, I felt like I had a new basement. Great job guys.
