Mario O. is absolutely fantastic - very friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional - really enjoyed working with him. They found yet another problem with my AC unit (builder grade) during my semi-annual inspection. After talking, I decided that, yes, I had "nickled and dimed it" and it was time to replace the system. Mario did a thorough analysis of the temps, etc. in my home before recommending a system and, in fact, found that the builder had not installed a system sufficient for the size of my home (surprised I haven't had more problems than I have had). What I REALLY appreciated was Mario's honesty. While he recommended some options that were worthwhile, he did not sell me options just for the sake of making money -- I really appreciate this in a person. He would say, you can buy this but it's not really necessary. He sold me a good system but not one that was the "Cadillac". Again, I REALLY appreciate this type of honesty. Some problems were discovered during my semi-annual HVAC inspection with Will Fix It. My technician, Mario, pointed out that I had already, since living in this home for 9 years, put about $4000 into the system (builder grade). The more we talked, I decided that, yes, it was time to replace the system. What I really appreciated about Mario was that he didn't try to upsell me just for the sake of additional money. He was very honest and told me what options he thought would be beneficial but also which ones were not really necessary. He did NOT try to sell me the "Cadillac" of systems - he recommended a middle-of-the-road system that would still be good but less costly. Mario is fantastic - very friendly, very knowledgeable, and professional. I really enjoyed working with him. Additionally, when Mario came out, he did a VERY thorough analysis of the energy, AC output, etc. in my home and actually found that the builder had installed a system that was probably not the best size for the size of my home. These guys are VERY thorough. I use them for HVAC and Plumbing and just found out they also do electrical work. I also find they are VERY responsive in emergencies. A GREAT company with GREAT people. I called because I suspected a water softener system I had bought from them was not working properly. Dean Covey was my technician. He used a chemical kit that told him that I was not getting any soft water. He then went out to the unit, immediately knew what the problem was, and fixed it.He was courteous and professional - listened to my concerns and answered my questions. (See More)

Mario was very helpful when my HVAC stopped working, and helped me navigate the options without the high pressure sales tactics of other companies. I have tried several other companies over the years and Will Fix It is my go to. Another company wanted to charge $300 to clean my outdoor units and WFI did it for $80. In addition, Mario had a technician help me learn my new Nest thermostat and an electrician came to take a look at the attic light switch that wasn't working. WFI really is a one stop shop. I always use Will Fix It for home repair of my HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. This time I had an issue with my heating. I called at 3:00 p.m. on a windy and very cold day and was told a technician would be arriving within 2-4 hours. Incredible! Who provides service that quick other than police and fire? But sure enough Mario Olivares was knocking on my door less than three hours later. He was very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed that a circuit breaker had tripped. I had checked all the breakers before calling for service but this breaker was in an area that was inaccessible to me. Mr. Olivares reset it and suggested installing surge protectors in front of the breakers. I had him do so and they were all he charged me for. He did a great job in a short amount of time and gave me his business card to contact him directly if there were any additional issues. I highly recommend Will Fix It and especially Mario Olivares. Mario helped me select a new air conditioner in July. He was very understanding, taking his time to slowly explain all of the options with no pressure. Then, unfortunately, my second air conditioner broke totally in September. Both units were 13 years old but it was still very upsetting. The repair man (Richard) was also understanding and I asked him to try and get Mario to come out for this second unit. I didn't want to go thru the whole sales options again--just cut to the chase and give me the same Carrier unit. Mario was able to postpone another call, I think, because he came immediately and helped me expedite the second purchase. He has a very calm, non-pressure approach. I trusted him not to cheat me! Needed a tune up on our A/C unit - Mario came in, introduced himself, talked to me about what I was needing done and then very patiently and methodically worked on both of my systems. He kept me informed about what he was doing each step of the way and showed me photos of what he was talking about. During the work I found out that there were some issues with my system but Mario explained all of my options and let me discuss it with my wife and then make a decision. After contacting "Will" Fix It, the order for new HVAC sytem went through. About 30 min. in, Installers: Manny Ocanas and David, were already prepping for removal, and installation of the new unit. The installers were professional and informative as to the process involved. The installers quickly rolled a work mat leading to the AC unit designating a high traffic and work area in consideration for the customer. Manny worked on lines outside and David worked on removing the old unit. When the new AC unit arrived, David and Manny began to move the new unit into place, and within a couple hours our new AC unit was running. David was informative on the technical aspects and operation of the new Nest system, and types of filters for replacement. Manny also advised us on proper waterdown of the unit outside, as well as informative of the new systems operation.

My AC unit died after 16 years and the tech was clearly able to explain the pros and cons to repairing vs replacing. Ultimately, I decided to get a new one and they explained the pros and cons to each type of HVAC unit. Honestly, the price was a little bit higher than expected, but after they left I felt I got a very high quality of service, so any buyers remorse I had went away fast. I was mistreated by a competitor of Will fix it in a service call to diagnose the problem with my ac. I was spoken to with disrespect n I felt like I was a burden to them. I was a female, without a.c. for a 10 months before I had the courage to use another company. I was referred to Will fix it by a trusted individual n let's just say they once restored my trust in a company that looks out for their customers. This past week I had an important decision to make about how to best maintain the 3 heating and cooling units in my home. With the recent cold weather we've been having the heating and cooling units were not keeping my home warm.
I called Will Fix It and within less than 24 hours Mario Olivares came to my home. Mario thoroughly inspected each unit, took pictures and notes. Unfortunately, each system had a major problem. Mario is an experienced , professional heating and cooling technician. First, he explained why each unit was not working efficiently or at all. Then, Mario outlined several options. After I made my decision to make repairs and replacements, Mario scheduled the work for the next day.
Two crews came out to install: one complete heating and cooling system; an air handler; and a heat pump. The technicians on the installation crew did an excellent job! The technicians were: Hector Galindo, Manuel Ocanas, David Zambrano. Edgar DeLeon, Mario Olivares, and Terry, the installation supervisor.

I found Mario to be knowledgeable and very helpful. He was very patient with me taking the time to show me what the problems were. For example mold in the old air conditioner coils. He told me about the UV lights what they can and can't do, what sizes I would need, etc. When I told him about my cheap husband, he didn't just pack up and go he still patiently explained to me me the things that had to get done for safety reasons (like adding another electrical circuit breaker switch) His patience, knowledge and understanding (and willingness to give me a great discount - my husband isn't the only cheap one in the house)- gained my trust. Mario came out to inspect my heater that wasn't working. He was on time and after looking at the heater he told me I needed a new one (which I probably new it was almost 20 years old). First, he checked our existing system and verified that our unit was leaking and had mold growing in places we were not aware of. Many of the coils were also very rusted. We were "scammed" just before winter started when my furnace fan stopped working. I called a "reputable" HVAC company and the tech they sent talked me into letting him replace my inside unit "on the side". Almost nothing was done to code. When my AC froze up a few days ago (an inch of ice on all of the copper coming out of my upstairs unit) I called another company that offered to uninstall and reinstall my unit, bringing it up to code, without actually upgrading anything. I even asked for a quote to replace the entire system, which they never responded to.
I called Will Fix It that same day and they sent Mario to my house within a few hours. I immediately felt comfortable with Mario (even my dog liked him). He was upfront and honest with me even though he knew that I did not want to hear what I already knew to be true. He listened to what my objectives were and gave me several options on what I could do.
Because I felt that he was being honest with me, after years of procrastination, I made the decision to replace my entire HVAC system. I could not be happier. Mario gave me a great price and everything happened exactly as he said it would. The installers and their supervisor were on time, did a fantastic job and made sure that I understood everything that was happening. In less than 6 hours I went from years of stress over my HVAC to feeling confidnet about my families comfort.

My A/C unit went down for the last time on July 4th, 2016. The "Will" Fix It company had a new unit up and running the next day, due to Hector and Edgar's focused work. They even took out the old cement block support and placed a new slab for the new unit's foundation. Not shabby work at all. They also installed a new heating unit as my older heating system died last Fall. These men also paid close attention to detail. For example, I have uninvited rodents in my attic that I had paid previously to have removed, but were back in 3 months time. Hector & Edgar's work included installing a metal barrier above the newly installed heater system. Until I can get the critters evicted again, I have security in having a protective barrier. We are on the maintenance plan and have Will Fix it come out every few months, we have been told to the end was near for our A/C unit. We requested Mario O to come out and check out why our unit was rattling the walls and glasses downstairs. He told us we could repair it, but we were only delaying the inevitable and spending money on something that will work on a temporary basis.
My wife and I have had issues with this unit ever since we moved into this house (we found the manual inside the unit when we turned it on for the first time) so sadly the money we were going to use on a new outside porch cover now went to a new A/C Heating unit. Once we decided on getting the new unit, Mario walked us through the process showed us several units, and recommended one that will work for our size house and gave us a great price on it. We decided to finance it through Will Fix It (got a better APR through Will Fix it, instead of our own credit union). Mario was at the house until well after six, to explain the process and ensure the installation was going to be setup ASAP.
The two installers came the next day and explained everything to my wife, and were very thorough. There was an issue with the way the old unit was installed upstairs so they had to come back out on Monday to complete the process. Mario actually came out with the guys and they fixed everything up and my gosh we realized we have been missing out on cool air for over 11 years.
All the guys we dealt with during this process made us comfortable and we felt we received a great deal and on top of a great deal we received a $500.00 CPS rebate - Yeah! Don't wait till July get's here and realize you should have had your unit check out. Perhaps you can save some money and keep your blood pressure in check. Mario arrived with-in his time window. He performed his service quickly and pointed out an obvious problem that I had not noticed. The problem could have been fixed immediately but we rescheduled for the next day. In the same week we noticed that a previous addition to our heating system suddenly stopped working. The Technician Mario O. performed a complete system inspection. During the inspection he discovered a code violation. The gas line to furnace needed a means to drain water from gas line. The other was a surge protector at the condenser and one at the furnace. The builder of the residence failed to properly seal the ducts at 30 drops. The capacitor used for the start of blower assembly was out of specification causing increase current draw. The part was replaced. The furnace was properly cleaned inside and out. No gas leaks were detected during inspection. A Ultra Violet Reme-Halo was installed. I was pleased with Mario's superb professional performance, and his excellent knowledge of AC & Heating systems. His time management skill was excellent as he worked diligently to complete all tasks. I look forward to see him in future as he has earned the 5 stars for the work at my home. (See More)

I called Will Fix It at around 1 pm and the extremely helpful woman helped by asking what the issue was with our a/c. She said they would have a technician out between 2 and 5, calling 1/2 hr before he arrived. I could not believe it was going to be same day service let alone within an hour or so! Sure enough, at 3 pm, I received a call that a repairman would be there by 3:30. Mario arrived and within minutes had the problem diagnosed. He was very courteous and thorough and although we decided upon a different solution, I was very impressed with Will Fix It overall. I would like to take the time to write a review for the AC technician from Will Fix It, Mario O., who came out to my house at 10pm tonight and fixed my AC. My AC went out at 2AM today. We have previously used One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning, who installed a new unit 4 years ago, which was still under warranty. We called them at 8am to schedule an appointment. We requested that they come in 1 hour and that we were willing to pay the $159 service fee. They did not have an available technician, so we scheduled an appointment for the hours between 1 and 5pm. Meanwhile, I drove across town with my infant daughter to a relative's house to escape the unbearable heat. My husband stayed behind in the scorching house to wait for the technician. They never showed up. My husband had to call to find out what was going on. They rescheduled for sometime after 7pm. At 7:30pm, he called them again and was told that no one could come out today and that we would have to wait until after 7pm the next day. We gave up on One Hour AC and decided to call Will Fix It. Mario O. arrived within a few hours, diagnosed the problem as a burnt capacitor and fixed it on the spot. He was very professional and honest. We will now use Will Fix It for all of our AC needs. On July 28 I called Will Fix It because my AC gave out. One of your fechnicians came out who I failed to get his name. He checked the unit and said my compressor was locked and it would be over $600 dollars to fix it. I asked does that guarantee that would take care of the problem and for how long. He said there was no way of knowing. I told him no that was too much money so he picked up his equipment and left. Shortly after going to his truck he comes back and says I can replace the capacitor for $300 and somewhat dollars. Really??? You just told me the compressor was locked. I know I am a woman but really? Your technician must have known it was the capacitor and not the compressor otherwise why would he return and tell me that. I had another company come out and it was the capacitor which cost me only $163 dollars parts and labor!! Your technician was dishonest and tried to take advantage of the situation. Your company should be ashamed. I work for the San Antonio Police Department and will certainly let my co-workers know and I will never call or recommend your company!!!! I requested Mario . He has though knowledge of my system (and my quirks) . He was scheduled to inspect my heating system prior to turn on for the heating season. Upon arrival, he advised me of a problem with water in the gas delivered by CPS. He also stated that Will Fix It had a fix for the problem by adding a water trap. Installation would be $80.00. I asked about the cost of a replacement valve, if contaminated by water . He quoted $500.00 . I chose to have the water trap installed, which Mario accomplished with a little bit of double jointed wrench tightening due to the confined space in the heater closet. When finished with that chore, he continued on with the heater check and finished with a smile on his face. No other problems were fond. His professionalism is the reason I request Mario every time.

I have been with Will Fix it for years. In recent years, i have lost trust in the technicians (Not maintaining my ac/heat system as paid for, and trying to get me to buy things i don't need.) Mario went a long way today in gaining back my trust. He was honest with what i did & DIDNT need. I appreciated his discounts as he was trying to earn trust again. He replaced the dual capaciter and he gave me the discount on the compressor starter kit as if i still had a service agreement. He was very professional! Another company had come to service my HVAC unit and said I needed to replace the entire unit and didn't give me any alternatives, said the compressor was shot and completely gone. My decision to use Will Fix It for HVAC service for the first time has so far been very satisfactory. I have not had very good luck in the past with receiving professional services in this area. In one case the very company I purchased my complete HVAC system from became downright confrontational because they refused to honor their warranty commitments. On 4/16/14, Mario O. came at the time promised and presented as a very professional well groomed individual. Mario took the time to thoroughly examine my system and listen to my complaint. He explained all my options and quoted prices on the spot. Never did I feel like he was just trying to sell me a service, needed or not. He engendered trust and I felt like he was truly interested in helping me with my problem. He even called the manufacturer to verify warranty information in the event it would be covered. First I will say this Will Fix It came over within a short time to service me without a service contract. My service contract folks, Aritron, would not get to me until the next day (some priority service). I will not be renewing the service contract with Airtron.
So Mario arrives and is able to determine the problem quickly while my dogs beg for his attention. Mario made the appropriate repairs quickly and efficiently as we were leaving town the next day. Mario was very courteous and polite. And as their ads says, the repairmen place the plastic cover on their shoes each time he came back into the house. He left every thing clean as if he never was here.

It was supposed to be a "tune up" as the tech said when he arrived. However when he began to analyze my HVAC system he said he could almost "guarantee" that the heat exchange was cracked. He came to this conclusion without removing any face plate, without inserting his flexible camera to look at the component from within. He went on to suggest that I probably shouldn't make any individual fixes however he did leave that decision up to me as the system was aged. Overall he made a lot of recommendations without making any "tune up". He had no problem collecting the money Home Depot said it would cost for the "tune up". This was very helpful and I feel like I made very informed decisions on the work I needed on my unit. I also purchased the Home Service Plan which Mario advised me would bring down my bill some and he was right. I saved about $100 on the work that was required on my unit. He was courteous the whole time and also when he came the day before to explain why we had no cooling and he put in refrigrerant to help limp us along to the next day. Excellent Service from start to finish! I had scheduled a check up/tune up on for my central AC system through Home Depot. Mario arrived on time and was very courteous and thoroughly performed the agreed upon system check up. He then took the time to explain in detail what he found as well as his recommendations to make my system run more efficiently and last longer. I'm grateful to him as he found a serious issue with my system and was able to take care of it on the same visit for a very reasonable rate. I would highly recommend Mario and Will Fix It! (See More)

Mario O. came out on Christmas Day and was very professional, was not at all concerned about coming on a very cold Christmas Day. Fortunately, no emergency as I had feared and he helped me spend an extra $277 at Christmas time (YEAH). All kidding aside, he was very professional gave me good advise about carbon monoxide dectors, allowed me to re-instate my spring service contract to avoid service charge for the day and I was a happy camper!! I have been with Will fix it since 09 and I have had wonderful customer service and the guys who come out to fix a problem are really terrific. I am on the monthly plan and get discounts on future work and priority service. I cant say enough great things about this company. I am a manager for the largest diabetes manufacture in the world. I am responsible for a 24 hour call center to help trouble shoot issues. Our expectation is to deliver excellent customer service by listening to our customers issue, explaining what the issue is about and offer a solution to resolve the issue. If I had a position available I would hire Mario O. He was very professional, listen to my issue, and explained what needed to be done to resolve it, before he even started. He explained the expectation up front before he even started. He gained my trust and respect as a customer. He articulated in a very calm concerning voice and really made us feel as part of your family.Your company should recorgnize these types of performers that represent your company and praise them for all the good work they do on a daily basis. It s just not about the issue that needs to be fixed, it s about building a relationship with your customer and earning their trust and repect. Mario is a true example for others to follow. Mario deserves a thousand ATTA BOYS!!! for his continuing outstanding service to our home. He is totally honest, knows his work and displays superb work ethics. He knows his job inside out as well as forwards and backwards. If he is not sure of something, he will check it out rather than trying to do something using the hope and by golly method. His work ethics are above and beyond any expectations, thus he can feel extremely proud of what he is doing and accomplishing. Since I could not submit the review thru the other website, I threw the card away. I think the Service Tech was Mario. He did a very good job checking the heating system. I did have some concerns, he told me I need to have electric surgers added and dirt was getting into the system because of the wood warpping. My concern is why have this not been brought up to me before. I just feel every time a different tech comes, he finds something wrong with the system and it will take alot of money to fix. (See More)
