Thousand Oaks Plumbing is my go-to Plumbing Company! I am the owner of Salon Westlake, we have a total of 14 Sinks in our salon! The last thing I need is a bad plumber & bad service! When our salon’s plumbing isn’t right it ruins my stylists incomes & our clients experience and neither of those is something I want to happen!
I also use Thousand Oaks Plumbing for my homes. They are the most pleasant, fair & professional people to to business with!
Being I am a woman, I sometimes get the “ You don’t know what your talking about little lady” or “ Stop asking so many questions & let me do my job”” attitudes from many men in trade industries.
I have NEVER been treated like that from Thousand Oaks Plumbing! They are so patient & understanding. They always explain everything that they are doing and why. I have learned so much from their technicians over the years.

He said he couldnt install just the hose, that it comes with a valve. Water heater warranties are a consumer rip off. I even had to pay for the time for TO plumbing to obtain the parts. But when you have no hot water you become desperate. At least TO plumbing was courteous and present for me...as opposed to some other warranty suppliers who could not be bothered. (See More)

Brad was excellent...worked very quickly since it was an hourly rate. A rental unit had the Bradford-white water cease to work in less than a year. Warranty service was required but ONLY paid for the PARTS. OWNER REQUIRED TO PAY FOR LABOR. (Home Depot water heaters are the same deal). How did a warranty get to be parts only? The labor is usually $200 to $250. But TO plumbing made a huge effort to get the hot water back on and thanks to them for that. The other plumbing company that provided warranty work in the area...LLOYD'S said there would be a several day wait to come out. That is a long time without hot water. Initially Brad provided a quote to replace a small sprinkler water valve at the back of the house but ran into difficulty with the PVC piping. Brian came over the following Monday and determined he could mate up to the PVC with an additional plastic fitting and finished the job with no further difficulty. (See More)

The garbage disposal side of our sink clogged Thanksgiving night. I called Thousand Oaks Plumbing the next morning, Brad came to our home later that day, and was able to quickly determine what the cause was as well as explain to me in layman’s terms why it had happened. He also gave me fair options on how it could be fixed, allowing me to make the decision without any high-pressure, fear-tactics selling for their services. I gave Brad a 5 because the job is only about half done. Moreover we are unable to water the entire back yard at this time and Brad didn't know when he would be able to return with his supervisor to determine how and when the job would be completed suggesting perhaps a week or week & a half.

I am so lucky Thousand Oaks Plumbing sent Brad out to install my Earthquake shut-off valve. I have always had complete reliability with this company but Brad went a step further. He cared enough to call me that evening to make sure the gas company was pleased with the installation at inspection time and there were no leaks. There are plenty of opportunities to take advantage of a customer who doesn't understand the mechanics of plumbing. And then there are opportunities to teach and explain options and why their recommendations would be best for the customer. He said his name was Brian. I liked the team I had in 2016 better. He said he had to go get a part. He was gone a little over 30 min. I told him you told me he carried parts on his truck. Then he said he would take 15 min. off my bill for having to get another part.

Your website says you charge by job, not per hour. Your plumber insisted it was per hour, not per job. Asked 30 minutes charge ($90) for the estimate call and adjusted it against be the total. He asked me to buy a new faucet for a follow up call, but didn't tell me to get a metal drain ( plastic drain was no good). I had to keep him waiting 30 minutes while I ran out to get the metallic drain.

We had a Saturday emergency with a back up that affected the entire house. Unfortunately, we had a prior commitment that evening but had a house guest that would be there to let Thousand Oaks plumbing in. I had to have a Gate Valve replaced in my home. Brad, the plumber from Thousand Oaks Plumbing arrived to assess the job. He gave me a fair quote for the replacement and the approximate time needed to get the job done. The date for the work was set, he arrived with the necessary parts and made sure all the faucets were open when the water was turned off to ensure no problems could occur during the process of changing the valve. He was courteous and clear with his explanations. The work was completed in a timely manner, and he made sure that all the water was running freely in each bathroom and the kitchen, so that no air was left in the lines. Would definitely use Thousand Oaks plumbing again. Brad was very friendly and thorough. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Would definitely recommend Brad, will ask for him again if a next visit is needed. (See More)
