From start to finish, best plumbing experience I’ve ever had. Brian, Jeremiah and Austin provided outstanding service. Brian was awesome to work with. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and explained everything well. He correctly assessed my leaky pipe situation and suggested the right solution. Jeremiah was a very skilled technician who communicated with us throughout the entire job to ensure the work was done to our satisfaction. The plumber did a good job but their pricing system is ridiculous: for less than 1.5 hour job of replacing the waste pipe under my kitchen double sink, they charged $522. It doesn’t require open any drywall or electric wiring. Just replace the basket strainer, 2 part waste and p-trap. Material cost will be $50 at top. According to homewyse.com: Thousand Oaks average will be 299 to 361 for licensed contractors... this is the third time I work with this company and will be the last time. I called Thousand Oaks Plumbing around 1pm and said that I had a small leak in the garage water line. The person I spoke with was able to fit me in that day even though it was booked up which I really appreciate. The Tech arrived around 4pm and found the leak and shortly had replaced that section of pipe. The Tech (named Brian S.) was professional and had a pleasant personality which made for a good experience out of a bad situation. I will make Thousand Oaks Plumbing my go to repair service. Paul is fantastic! He asked enough questions when he arrived to quickly realize that the expensive repair I was told I needed was not accurate. He investigated and found the problem and then thoroughly tested to make sure he had the correct fix. Danny, Tom & Joe were in my house to replace a hot water line that has been leaking into my slab. Their quote was founded on what was best for ME and not what would make them the most money. There weren't any last minute openings with the invoice either. I found TO Plumbing by chance a couple of years ago after having dealt with numerous overpriced, mediocre plumbers. Tom has come out to my house twice for 2 distinct difficulties. He is the very best! Explained everything clearly, gave me my choices, reasonably priced. The second time (now) that I predicted we had a leaking bathroom. I called at 8:30 this morning (spoke to Kate) and despite having a very heavy schedule (among the plumbers was on holiday) Kate phoned me back at 9:30am and told me someone would have the ability to come between noon and 3pm. Tom showed up at 1:30pm and then mended my leaky toilet. So pleased to have this type of dependable community business to call upon for our pipes requirements! 100% advocate Thousand Oaks Plumbing. Had a mainline clog today, for some strange reason I had trouble reaching them, I normally always use them, should have been more patient, however I saw a bargain on the web from Rooter Guard fro $59 on Mondays, they came out, spent over a hour attempting to clean it, could not, said I needed to hydro burst it ($650) or install a mainline clean-out access nearer to this clog for ($1150). I called another plummer that wanted to perform an absolutely free quote first but wouldn't give me some idea how much it'd be, passed on them, its a mainline clog, severely any plumber that can not provide the customer some kind of idea how much it is to wash out a mainline rubs me wrong. Called Drain Kings and they told me that snakes for residential are only 75ft, and that I would need to Hydro Blast it, I knew that was BS since I had it snaked using 125ft several times before so passed on them. Called Thousand Oaks Plumbing again, reached them this moment, they shipped Brad out, he cleared out the mainline quickly, understood to use his big 125ft snake, equipped it with a root blade, even ran it back and forth close to the immunity in the mainline a few times to make sure it was totally evident for good measure. Took pride in his job. I should haven't called another plumber, conducted $125, responded fast and handled it no problem. (See More)

I have used them twice: 1. an emergency call to fix a leak in main line leading to our home, and 2. to confirm a leak issue with my shower stall. I recommend everyone with an older home have your sewer lines scoped and replaced under the slab before they go bad and start backing up. Our disposal died last night, so got on the phone and called several plumbers to find out how much it is for a replacement. T.O. Plumbing was the least expensive, and the two reps I talked to on the phone were informative and helpful. We scheduled for tomorrow, but they called and had a cancellation for today, which we preferred, and they came out and had it done in 15 minutes. The tech was super nice, cleaned up after himself, and our favorite part, NO UPSELLING! I get so tired of places scaring you, or suggesting you should spend more. We would highly rec T. O. I called 4 plumbers yesterday! I had to leave messages and not one of them called me back. I could have kept going down the list, but with it being a plumbing issue which are typically time sensitive, I figured I'd get a call back fast. Nope. Today Thousand Oaks Plumbing was the first call that I made from a new list. I didn't have to leave a message because someone actually picked up the phone. 2 hours later, a technician was at my house fixing our leaky sink. He was efficient and professional. I also loved the electronic invoicing and payment option. My only issue and reason it's not a 5 star review is due to the cost. I don't have much to compare this to as I didn't shop around, but as a first time homeowner with her first plumbing repair, I didn't expect it to be so pricy for what the technician said was a simple repair. I know that he probably isn't responsible for the pricing and for all I know it could be the going rate, but it hurt to pay so much. I might have to shop around next time we have a less time sensitive repair. (See More)

Thousand Oaks Plumbing has been around for long enough to know that they will be here when you need them in the future. After the tankless water heater we had installed by what we thought was a reliable plumber three years ago died - without any company to back it up, we needed a water heater asap. Brad came on a Saturday and installed the new water heater on Monday. He is a pleasure to work with and did an amazing job. Thousand oaks plumbing is fantastic. Quick and Good at what they do. I've tried several of the local discounters with their coupons and promises of low cost fix rate pricing. Only to have them up charge me and often not get the job done anyway. I'm done with those marketing games. Thousand Oaks plumbing does great work for a fair price. And they actually do the work! One last note. These guys are always booked. If you have an emergency situation they will give you priority, if not, wait for them. Good quality work at a fair price is always worth and extra day. Our water heater went out on a Friday night and the pilot light would not light. On Saturday, Jeff came out, from Thousand Oaks Plumbing and I had high hopes for a good experience. The diagnosis was, as expected, a new control panel and pilot ignition assembly was needed. He was unable to locate the parts needed on Saturday afternoon, but he got a price over the phone. He thought he could do better, from his own supplier on Monday morning and I would be called after. I felt confident that I was in good hands and would get a fair deal. On Monday I heard nothing and called around 12:30 and was told they would get there between 2-4. At 4:15 I called again, from work, and was told they were on their way. My adult son was there when they arrived and I spoke with a different plumber and was told it would be $495!! That was over $150 more than the same repair on our other water heated just 4 months ago. With my family taking cold showers for three nights already and it being end of day I agreed. After the 20 minute job, my son paid, without receiving a physical receipt. An email receipt was received with a single line just showing $495.I have contacted them twice to receive the expected parts and labor totals, but they have ignored my request. We feel the price was excessive, for such a basic job, and it feels like the refusal to provide parts cost, adds to that suspicion. It's a shame, I was hoping to find that go-to service to call when those plumbing needs arise. Sadly Thousand Oaks Plumbing will not be that call. If you use them I recommend that you make the appointment for early in the day, so if the price seems excessive, you can check around and not have to pay an end of day premium. (See More)

I have used T O Plumbing since I bought my house 18 years ago in Thousand Oaks. Danny's company came highly referred by a friend and neighbor who had been using him for years. I recently purchased a new refrigerator with an ice maker. I did not have a line behind the refrigerator for the installation. I called T O Plumbing who quoted a price that at first I felt was too steep, so I called another company. The quote I received from this other company was in the thousands..almost $3,000.00! So sheepishly I called T O Plumbing back and agreed on their original price ($350.00) which they honored. Jessie arrived, put in the line (having to go under the sink and install it), and I am now ready with fresh ice for my friend who is coming to visit from Florida. The second time (today) that I called we had a leaking toilet. I called at 8:30 this morning (spoke to Kate) and despite having a really heavy schedule (one of their plumbers was on vacation) Kate called me back at 9:30am and told me someone would be able to come between noon and 3pm. I first met Danny from TO Plumbing when I had a slab leak the day before Thanksgiving and the insurance company sent him out. He was the only plumber that came out and took the time to give me an immediate work around, so that I could host Thanksgiving dinner. He then came back after Thanksgiving to fix the problem and came up with a great solution, that allowed me not to cut open the slab and save me money. I now have TO Plumbing on speed dial and have had Danny out to my house multiple times for plumbing issues. I have always found Danny to be very knowledgeable, professional and fair. We got Danny's name at Thousand Oaks Plumbing from entrusted family who owns buildings which TO Plumbing has serviced for many years. Life was blissful in our new home until the 6 weeks mark, when poop started coming up through the downstairs shower floor. Boy, they were there FAST and did the job thoroughly. No complaints (I sure would have!). We've been using them now for 6 years for every single job, and I appreciate how each time we are told what our options are, what the pricing, pros and cons are for each, and their take on it. They've steered us in the right direction every time and been mindful on our behalf relating to costs. Everyone we've referred them to has also been really happy. We've used Thousand Oaks Plumbing for 2 large jobs and we are so grateful to have found a talented and trustworthy plumber like Danny! He replaced a piece of pipe in one of our bathrooms and a few months later we called him to fix a leak inside our kitchen island. In both cases, he offered thoughtful advice to help us plan ahead to eliminate expensive repairs in the future (re-routing our kitchen plumbing). I totally agree with all the other positive reviews here!!! Danny was referred to us by a contractor we know who does not do complicated plumbing problems (our downstairs flooded from the main drain). The contractor told us to make sure we installed a "popper relief valve" outside so it never happens again. Danny was able to make it a couple hours after being called. He was very nice and took care of everything right away. He snaked the lines and showed us what was going on under our house with a camera. He also "located" the sewer line outside our house and said we needed a relief valve, sticking a flag in the ground where it needed to go (all without me even telling him the contractor said the same thing). He had no desire to nickel and dime us. He just handled it, fixed everything up, and even did some extras needed. He was fast, friendly, courteous, efficient, and very reasonably priced. We will call Danny / Thousand Oaks Plumbing for all our future plumbing issues!!! (See More)

Needed a plumber since my handyman retired. He told me to try T.O. plumbing. Plumber was on time and well equipped to replace leaking pipe in slab. He got right to work and had it repaired in 3hours. Wow, wow, wow! Danny and his crews are amazing. He is Honest, Reliable and even giving. We had Orangeburg finally need replacing in our sewer line. Danny came out and explained the details showing me everything on camera, he is knowledgeable and takes his time in explaining. Danny and his crew showed up on time and did all their work diligently and were even tidy while working. Such professionals. The new pipes were placed, inspector came, and the yard, grass, bricks, and dirt were all placed back together even Better than before the work began. All was done with a minor 20 min or so interrupt in water use. Would highly recommend to anyone for your plumbing needs. Pricing is completely fair and reasonable. He was very cheerful, his price was less then we paid when we were in Boston so I know that was fair. We were up and running with hot water by 11. Danny is the BEST! His prices are unbeatable and his service is top notch. As new homeowners, we had never had to deal with a plumber. We tried several companies in the area and were sorely disappointed. Then we found Thousand Oaks Plumbing. They are always available, friendly, and helpful. Danny, the owner, has personally come out to our house several times on the weekends to fix problems with no extra charge. When we had a problem with the main sewer line, he called someone at the city to come out and take a look for us at no charge (a huge savings... if we had called the city they would have charged us an arm and a leg). Great quick service, called morning of on weekend and they came out that very day and prices were great. I would recommend thisbto everyone staff is very friendly and really know what they are talking about and doing. Very fast service and excellent customer service best plumber I have ever had. Wonderful plumber! I have used Thousand Oaks Plumbing several times, and have found Danny to be so courteous, prompt and efficient. He even went out of his way to come a bit earlier in the morning, just so I didn't have to come into work too late and miss a bunch of hours. Their work has always been first-rate and very reasonably priced. I couldn't be happier with the service I've gotten, and will definitely be using them again for any future plumbing needs! :) (See More)
