In the past year, Sunshine has replaced my furnace & a/c, one of my hot water heaters and a hot water heater at my mom's. The people that they send to do the work are friendly and helpful. I wasn't especially happy with the service when having my furnace & a/c replaced. There was an issue with the thermostat that was eventually rectified, but it took months, and lots of effort on my part. And I wasn't aware they had pulled a permit that I needed to follow up with until I received a notice from the city. Last week my mom had trouble with her furnace. She wasn't able to be home, so I met Manny (Service Tech) at her home. He did a great job showing me what was the issue with her furnace. He gave her options for replacement should she choose to do that (furnace is nearing 20 years old) and set her up with a maintenance plan for all of her heating/ac/plumbing. He was very helpful and did a great job getting everything back in working order. I will definitely ask for Manny the next time I need service at my house....which (crossing my fingers) won't be anytime soon! (See More)

Had an emergent need today (1/26/19) and was very, very pleased by the excellent service of this company Sean Funk technician had the water leak issue evaluated & controlled within less than an hour. Very professional and courteous at all times. I will need follow up work in the Spring and I will definitely call Sunshine again! Had to also replace a small run of galvanized pipe, last run left in the house, so the cost went up due to this unforeseen issue. However the technician was fair and seemed like he tried to give me the best deal possible. He was courteous, professional, and friendly. Since the spigot was replaced we have noted slightly less pressure in the spigot, hard to tell if it is due to the change to the new pex piping or not. Otherwise it looks good and works perfectly. The have a warranty on the work so I feel secure that if there is an issue they will fix it. (See More)

Roberto fixed a problem that four other techs from various companies could not. Friendly, with a positive can do attitude. Willing to go the extra mile and actually contacted tech support for the product. Working as a team with tech support he was able to run down and fix a problem that others could not diagnose. Very happy with final outcome and service. However, there was a great deal of frustration on the first day of install. The representative who first came to evaluate the AC install job made it sound like the install would be easy and straightforward. But when a different technician was here for the install, issues arose with configuring the AC to the furnace in the crawlspace. This required parts to be ordered and a week's delay in the install, which was during a near 100 degree heatwave. The company put us up in a hotel for a night for our trouble, which was nice. Everyone that came out to help us was polite, very professional, and very helpful. Sales staff had great product knowledge and knew which unit would be best for my needs and local climate, and service staff were efficient and very professional. The work performed was great (new boiler). However, there was an employee in the office that was less than professional - actually she was rude. For some reason the permit had not been obtained before the work was complete. The office staff and salesman (no longer there) went back and forth and back and forth about who was responsible. When I finally got frustrated the person in the office was very rude. After speaking with the owner everything was taken care of. That was the only negative thing. (See More)

We recently had our furnace and a/c replaced. The install crew was awesome!!! We struggled with our new thermostat being on back order but it was installed a couple days later.
