I worked with ************************* to get all 40 AC units and all ********************************* early December. **** was always easy to reach by telephone, always answered all of my questions, and was *******************. We started installations in early January 2023 and were complete in early February. We were very pleased with all of the work and **** was a great representative and left an outstanding impression of the professionalism and quality of Sunset-Air. Our previous HVAC company who had been out for service 2 times over the past 3 months with the same issues but always claims it's now something else. After spending almost $400 the first call, then came up with it was going to be over $1,000. , I told him I was going to get a second opinion. My neighbor gave me the number to Sunset Air and they came out the next morning. Evidently the problem was not what the previous had said, and actually very minor. He fixed it immediately and it's been fine since. We also signed up for their maintenance program as well, being we won't be using our previous company.

I had Sunset Air scheduled to perform a duct cleaning on my system. When they arrived they discovered that my ducts were made of hardboard (fiberglass) and that cleaning them would cause more harm than good. They offered to do a sanitizing in the future once my system was back up and running. This is evidence that they seem to be an honest company and I would recommend using them in the future. Tyler Elkins gets a Five Star rating for his work at my house. It was late Friday afternoon when I called Sunset Air and told them that my A/C unit was not working. Sunset Air was wonderful in all aspects of the installation process. Mark R was the lead installer who came to our house to inspect it and give us a quote. The price was reasonable as we really needed a new system because our old one was not cooling properly anymore. We scheduled the date and time they were going to come and they were exactly right on time. Jake and Darryl did a wonderful job and cleaned up so well after the install you couldn't tell they were there !! So far I have been really pleased with Sunset Air and I'm glad we chose them as our A/C company. I hope that we will have a very long relationship with them. The tech who serviced my A/C showed up without a mask. I would think all techs would/would have worn masks when inside. My wife's immune system is compromised. As a result, she cannot have the vaccine. She cannot be exposed. The tech should have worn a mask when inside the building. I mentioned that to him. Apparently, he didn't have a mask. He was evasive as to whether he had been vaccinated.Though he knew who I was, and I introduced myself, he addressed me as "Man" several times. Very unprofessional. When he left I had a question about the quality of my service, simply due to his lack of professionalism. I should add that I reported the tech's failure to wear a mask to Sunset and the response was pretty lame. "We can't make them wear masks." My thoughts on that are comment are: "Why not? After a long day at the office, I came home around 8:30 p.m. to a warm house. Unfortunately, the AC was not working. But fortunately, I am a customer of Sunset Air's! I left a message with the Dispatcher (Maggie), who called me back immediately. In no time, Tyler contacted me to say he was on his way. The issue was diagnosed, and a temporary fix gave me the cool house I needed for a good night's sleep and to cover the situation for a few days. The part is ordered, and the date/time is set for the repair (per Kaylynn - spelling?). Tyler was patient with my questions and answered them thoroughly. He took the extra time and steps to help me and resolved the issue in a professional manner. Gaige came to us following a total system failure. He promptly diagnosed the issues (there were multiple), ensured parts were ordered (we are still under warranty) with a sense of urgency as we had no A/C (system was not able to be patched). We received a call the following morning from Sunset to confirm parts had been acquired and the repair would take place within 2 days. Gaige was on site early with another team member and they both worked for over 5 hours to complete the install/repair whilst we were not at home. His honesty, integrity and dedication to us as homeowners was fantastic. We will be requesting Gaige to undertake all of our servicing needs with Sunset moving forward. Highly recommended.
