Originally I called Rotor-Rootor because my basement drain was overflowing from my washer. Their technician stated it was an ejector pump that needed to get replaced and wanted to charge me an outstanding amount. I knew the price was excessive so I called Reid & Pederson because of a recommendation. The representative quoted me over the phone. I was able to get a technician out within 12 hours. The technician I had was Jose A. He was amazing, outgoing, and explained the whole process with no fluff or gimmicks. Jose realized that the first quote was excessive and ensured me it will be a lot less. In addition it wasn’t even the ejector pump, it was the back up sump pump. In fact I didn’t even have an ejector pump. Jose, followed the CDC guidelines and extra precautions. Jose broke down the pricing and was able to fix on the spot with just over an hour. He even swept and cleaned up the area he was working. I will be going to Reid & Pederson for all my drain needs! (See More)

When you call they are always very nice, and so helpful. They got someone out as soon as possible, and Jose was great he came in got the clog unclogged and video done all before I had to leave for work. I would only call them for sewage issues! (See More)

Jose had a challenging job installing our sump pump and making everything align properly. Yet, he did an excellent job making sure everything aligned and the lid was sealed tight. He also unclogged our sink and now drains normal. I would definitely recommend. (See More)

The customer service at Reid & Pederson Drainage is excellent! I entered a chat on their website at 9:08 pm stating my drainage issue. I received a response from the chat service in less than one minute addressing my concern letting me know someone from the company would be in touch with me to schedule an appointment. I received a call from Mr. Reid within five minutes to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning. When you have drainage/plumbing issues, you know it can't get fixed fast enough. There was great communication from the company regarding the technician coming to the house. They even provided a photograph of the gentleman. I received a call when he was on the way. He handled the situation and got everything working properly. My only regret is that when he arrived, our puppy went to greet him in a watch dog manner. Once she was put in the backyard, he was able to get to work. I would highly recommend Reid & Pederson Drainage for any of your drainage issues. They are friendly, professional, prompt, reasonably priced, and reliable. Going forward, I will definitely have annual maintenance to keep my sewer lines clear. (See More)

I just moved to a new house in Park Forest and had a blockage in sewer line after 4 months. Called Roto-Ruter and was charged 570. to clean out and was given a 6mo garr. It clogged again in three days. They returned an unclogged again and said I needed a Hyro-flush for 900. and also told me my garr was no longer valid. I called Reid & Pederson and was quoted 295. an hour. They came on time, super clean and it only took 2 hours for 590. They also have a way to repair sewer line without digging for a fraction of the cost. I am so pleased and will give them our business from now on. (See More)

When you have plumbing troubles Call them . Excellent customer service.Was able to get us help quickly . Fix the problem as well as they could to keep thing moving along . However they discovered a much larger serious issue that will need additional attention. I will have them return to do that work . Replacing a cracked portion of the main sewer . As for the timing and service they were excellent. On the issue of them being successful with the service they provided I would prefer to wait a month or so to see if my sewer issue has been completely resolved. I found out that I actually had worked with the technician Ryan's mom which made it more comfortable talking to him. They were very polite and considerate. After I requested a service call online, John Reid called me back Immediately and got me in their schedule the same day. The office ( Betty) helped with updates of when the crew was coming in the afternoon to accommodate my work schedule. Dave and Ryan were very professional and explained the steps they were taking to clean out my sewer pipes as we had some drainage issues. These guys were great! They were able to send someone over and get the flooding in my basement taken care of. Normally me and my husband rent a machine to clean out our main but after having these guys come out I will never go rent that machine again! Dear Sirs or Madame, Just a note of thanks following the middle of the night service call on by John and Ryan R.that we requested late evening on Feb. 19th. I know that you were extremely busy at that time given the prolonged heavy rain. Notwithstanding that condition, John willingly scheduled our service call after completing another job around 1 am. I called thinking that our systems had failed, but John clearly explained onsite how the multiple pumps in our house (all installed by R+P) work, given the heavy water flow from rain and melting snow,. John and Ryan didn't leave until confirming that all pumps were, in fact, operating effectively. It is rare to find a business with that level of service and dedication. In conclusion, we greatly appreciate that John and Ryan were able to complete the call. It clearly demonstrated to me that your dedication to customer service is obviously a top priority. They gave me an appointment for Monday. They are exceptional with their skills at finding the exact problem and fixing it, plus cleaning up so that the restroom is immaculate. I was recommended to Reid & Pederson by a plumber friend who spoke very highly of the quality of their work. With such a strong recommendation from someone in the field, I felt confident that their service would be good. Not only was I not disappointed, but Reid& Pederson exceeded my expectations. The customer service was outstanding and the technician, Ryan, was excellent. For one thing, the owner accomodated my request to arrange same day service given that we were expecting heavy rainfall later that day. Secondly, Ryan was very polite and took time to understand the problem and address it thoroughly. He also did a great job on the clean-up. The pricing was also very reasonable. It is very rare to receive such a high level of customer service from home service personnel; it is therefore a pleasure to give these folks a 5 star review. (See More)

I had an emergency going on at my home; my sump pump finally gave up the ghost and the result was, of course, a flooded basement. I had just finished hanging new drywall and was afraid it would get wet and I'd have to start all over again. So, I called Reid and Pederson, right away, talked to the lady on the phone, who was so patient and understanding. She assured me that she would have someone call me back in no longer than 1/2 hour. Sure enough, John Reid called me and patiently and with understanding said he would have someone out in about an hour and a half to replace the pump. Along came Jose to the rescue! Super friendly and he took care of the problem in no time. I wouldn't call any other company. Reid and Pederson, everyone there, from the office personnel to the owners and the techs, they are all amazing. Thanks to you all for being so professional and for doing your jobs with excellence. I called Reid and Pederson for the first time on Wednesday evening Jan.18. John returned my call right away to set up appointment for the next morning and sent an email with pictures of himself and Ryan the tech who was to come out. Ryan was on time, very courteous and very willing to explain what was going on and what needed to be done. I had a massive obstruction in my main going to city sewer and these guys came out on the spot and took care of it in no time. I can't believe how fair they were on the price. Nowadays it's hard to trust anybody in this sort of desperate situation I was in. And I'll tell you what Reid and Pederson helped give me faith in people again. I'm the type of person that doesn't trust anyone. These guys are the most honest and trustworthy group of guys I've ever met. John even gave me free and friendly advice on questions I had about my sump pump. He took the time to explain things in laymen terms. I would recommend this company to all. Reid & Peterson were timely, extremely professional and knowledgeable. My main line needed rodding and they were reasonable, provided professional advice, and cleaned up extremely well. Not fun to wake up to a blocked and overflowing sewer. They arrived at my house within an hour. Ryan called in the cavalry on a bad situation. Within 2 hours water was flowing and all was clean. I called to see, if by chance, I could have my sewer line rodded out today because I was off work with a sick toddler. They gave me an afternoon appointment. Ryan K. arrived within the time frame and remembered to park in back. He is very nice and I told him my 16 month old baby was asleep upstairs, if he could try to keep it low. John from Reid returned my message with in 30 minutes and from there we were able to get scheduled for a technician to come out on the following Tuesday morning. On Tuesday morning, Jose arrived to inspect our ejector pump. He informed us that the pump's motor had blown out. He informed us of the cost that would be associated with the replacing of the pump and was able to perform the service right there and then. I would highly recommend Reid & Pederson to anyone in the Southside of the Chicago-land area. Great Team. (See More)

I have used this company twice and I have to say, I wish other companies were as professional as this one. These guys have a quick turn around from the first phone call and are always on time if not early. They get the job done quick and they make sure its done right before they leave out the door. They cleaned up both times and even made sure not track mud and dirt on the floors. I could not have asked for a better experience.
