Dan R came to our house to clear a bathroom blocked drainage pipe. he was on time and cleared the drain in no time. He also told us some things to do to prevent future clogs. Dan is a very professional, skilled plumber and a nice guy. If we need future help we wouldn't hesitate to contact Reid and Pederson and ask for Dan.

After getting two quotes from know plumbing services who offered no guarantees for three times even four times the money Reid & Peterson got the job done in have the time and went straight to the problem. Totally terrific, and honest.
This is the second time I've used Reid & Pederson in the last 6 - 7 months. It cost more than twice as much for a similar problem in the same area but I was pleased that it was rectified and all I had to do was a little clean up afterwards. I would recommend Jose again and again. (See More)

I am beyond happy with Reid-Peterson! I called them on a Saturday leaving a message with their answering service and within minutes received a call from Mr. Reid himself! He was so kind and understanding on the phone and said he’d get a crew here “soon”. Then I received emails thanking me for trusting Reid-Peterson and another with a picture of the guy they were sending to my home. Impressive!!! Keaton got here sooner than soon and easy to talk to and is the nephew of Mr. Reid! Once he knew what he had to do he called for extra help and his cousin shows up. I love that this is a family run business! Didn’t take long for our problem to be fixed and I was extremely pleased with the speed and efficiency! Around nine o'clock A.M. on August 24, 2020' I noticed minor sewer back up in my basement. I called Reid and Pederson immediately. I spoke with Ms. Z***. She confirmed a window between one o'clock and 5 P.M. a technician would be available. I welcomed the same day appointment and commented I would also welcome a technician ASAP! She indicated she would call if service could be provided sooner. Around eleven she called. By the time I got to my front door Dan was parking in front of my house. The customer service at Reid & Pederson Drainage is excellent! I entered a chat on their website at 9:08 pm stating my drainage issue. I received a response from the chat service in less than one minute addressing my concern letting me know someone from the company would be in touch with me to schedule an appointment. I received a call from Mr. Reid within five minutes to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning. When you have drainage/plumbing issues, you know it can't get fixed fast enough. There was great communication from the company regarding the technician coming to the house. They even provided a photograph of the gentleman. I received a call when he was on the way. He handled the situation and got everything working properly. My only regret is that when he arrived, our puppy went to greet him in a watch dog manner. Once she was put in the backyard, he was able to get to work.
I would highly recommend Reid & Pederson Drainage for any of your drainage issues. They are friendly, professional, prompt, reasonably priced, and reliable. Going forward, I will definitely have annual maintenance to keep my sewer lines clear. (See More)

There was a leaking pipe in by basement, and she told me that someone will be at my house between 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. She let me know that I would receive a call before they came. I highly recommend Reid and Pederson. Over the past year I've had several conversations with Kevin (owner) regarding my basement water issues. He was always willing to provide suggestions on what action I should take to help identify the source of the problem. He offered great suggestions and ideas I never thought of myself. He ultimately identified the source of my problem being iron ochre (bacterial sludge) which is clogging the drain tiles and resulting in water seepage.
Yesterday, Ryan and Dan came out to clean the tiles. Unfortunately, the way the drain tiles were installed when the house was built, there is no way to route a water jet around the 90 degree corners in the clay tile since there is only one access point (the tile inlet in the sump pit). Rather than attempting to continue with the job, Ryan explained the situation to me and didn't believe the problem could be resolved with the resources available to him. He offered some good suggestions on how to proceed with a fix and did not charge me anything for the time he and Dan were here. These guys are honest (very hard to find in the service industry) and I would have no hesitation in calling them for any plumbing job in the future. I will also recommend them to all my friends. Again this year, I have been very happy with the service provided by Reid & Pederson. I appreciate the telephone reminders for our annual inspection. Veta was pleasant and efficient when she called. In addition, I especially liked the text reminder accompanied by the Dan's picture. Dan and Scott worked very well together. They performed their jobs cooperatively. They were always polite and pleasant. with each other and with me. Dan was very repectful of our garage and cleaned up after the completion of the job. Reid and Pederson is the only service I have used for many years. They always send very dedicated employees. I always ask for the same employee as Dan R. is exceptional in his job. This time Dan noticed that there was a large hole in the drain tile from the upstairs bathroom. They were wonderful - came out on a horrible cold weekend when I was panicking about my sewer backing up. I couldn't do anything involving water (cleaning, dishes, laundry etc.) and the deep freeze was on its way. After reaching their service one of the owners called me back very promptly and gave me an estimated time frame that day. Then I got a text confirming my appointment. Then later they sent a text with the technician's photo when he was on his way. Very impressed with their high-tech communications! When he arrived he was very polite and considerate of my house - asking about the best way to bring in the equipment. He worked very hard on rodding out the line - there were a lot of tree roots but he took his time and was very thorough. He had to help me move some furniture to get to the stack but then I realized he had put it all back by himself. Everything was spotless. It was late on a Saturday night and as he was leaving I heard him arranging to go help someone at another site. These guys work really hard!!!! Got home from work and found sewage had backed up into the tub from toilet use. Called Reid and Pederson, talked to a supervisor who said we can help. He asked a few questions, quoted an amount for "Black Friday" evening response (within an hour of my call), and Saturday. Due to the urgency we opted for ASAP and a few minutes later a tech was in route. Less than 30 min later tech was in the driveway. He introduced himself (OH - and he matched the photo emailed ahead of his arriving), explained the quote in person, indicated he was going to apply a senior citizen discount (without my asking), had me sign an approval screen on his tablet and got to work. Unfortunately due to the layout of our plumbing, we have to have our septic tank pumped out first before he could attempt to route the pipes out. Had he started and the septic tank was full, he wouldn't be able to catch all the effluent. He explained all of this to me, apologized that his hands were tied (unless I wanted the risk of raw sewage in my basement if the tank was over capacity) and told me there was NO CHARGE! since they weren't able to help us at this time. Basically I was asking them to do step 2, before I had a septic system company do step 1. Live and learn.
Very professional, checked with his office for a septic pumping company referral , gave me his business card should we still need them once the tank is empty and said good-bye. Price was a little higher than I expected, but fair. Their Saturday price was very good. First time I've ever called a plumbing service. I would call again! Thanks R & P! (See More)

We had DANIEL R. For our annual service. This is a senior aged household, so his thorough inspection was appreciated. DANIEL noted that there was leakage coming from the toilet above. He stated that he would be happy to correct the small issue of changing the wax ring under the toilet. He called in to his service manager, who told him he could not make this repair due to time constraints. I was very unsatisfied to learn that I would need to make an appointment with an additional plumber and incurr an additional service charge for this service. Isn’t that why customers are given a 4 hour window for appointments, just in case the service takes additional time?
I think it was a shame that the service manager was not more considerate of a customer, especially seniors who may not be able to afford the extras. (See More)

I had an amazing experience with Reid and Pederson and would definitely recommend them. We had some issues with tree roots in our pipes and had two other plumbers out who could not fix it. One quoted us 7,000 to dig up the ground and completely remove the pipe with roots in it. Reid and Pederson came out and worked on it for like 3 hours and were able to clear a lot of it out. The owner then came out the following day and cleaned it out some more and used the video to make sure the pipe was in good shape and clear of roots. I wouldn't even consider calling anyone else for rodding our sewer line. About once a year, if we don't have the line cleared out, we have a backup - so now we're in the habit of scheduling a maintenance appointment before the inevitable happens. Every person I deal with there are so courteous, efficient and accommodating!
