Our water heater stopped working on a Sunday afternoon and I gave a call to Reed and Soon early Monday morning. I choosed them based on Yelp reviews and the fact they are a family owned company, in my area and have been in business for two generations. We just moved in the area and didn't know any plumber. The office was very nice on the phone and they dispatched Brandon that very Monday morning. He was very professional and easy to talk to. He quickly saw what was the problem, gave me some options to fix it and answered my questions. I proceeded with a new water heater (I was expecting that option since mine was quite old). Decided to have have our 23 year old well pump replaced proactively. They came out, inspected our set up and gave me an estimate. I had expected we would set a day to do the replacement, but lo and behold, they were prepared to to do the job then! Once they we're done they came inside, turned the pump back on to check proper operation and discovered a mismatch between the pressure in the holding tank and the settings on the pump control pressure switch. It was a simple matter to correct, but resolved a fluctuating water pressure issue we've had since the holding tank was replaced. Very pleased with their work! The owner arrived at my house within two hours of my non-emergency call to assess an outside well leak (failed pitless adapter). The problem was quickly and correctly diagnosed. An hour later the crew arrived with a backhoe and a 4' deep hole was excavated to initiate repairs, which took about an hour to complete. Called Reed & Son at 10 AM and the job was done by 2:30 PM. We had a Pitless Adaptor which needed replaced. After reading rave reviews online, contacted Reed and Son. Once receiving the original estimate on July 2, agreed to have the work performed the Tuesday after the 4th. However, surprisingly was contacted by the receptionist later that evening who said the owner (Patrick) and his son (Hunter) would be out at 7 AM on the morning of 4th to repair. Not only did both Patrick and Hunter arrive on time but later the owners Wife and Daughter arrived as well. Now WHO still does that! My experience with Mark, Patrick and Hunter was exceptional. Contracting can be challenging for the average home owner and often results in a feeling of being either fleeced or short-changed in one way or another. Not so with this crew. It's not that they are so "professional", although their work certainly was, but they just came across as people who cared about doing a good job and about my satisfaction. In hindsight, I believe they approached the project with a plan to minimize the cost of the work and disruption to the property (I had an outside water leak that started in the middle of my driveway...). As the work progressed, they kept me informed about their progress and the developing plan of attack. They also went the extra mile and brought in another contractor who was particularly skilled in one part of the work, which then went flawlessly. And did I mention that it was in the 30s with 50mph wind gusts? It's rare to be around a group of workers who are both confident and personable, almost like they were neighbors getting together to help me out with a problem. As a local, family-owned business, I guess that's sort of what they are. I would highly recommend them. (See More)

Owner came to the house he took care of the problem water heater started working he didn't charge us any fee he made sure system was working ok before he left . I am looking forward to them having install new water filtering until at last week of September. He went over and above he checked our water quality told us we have very good water did give us to add water softener system but don't have its up us . Mr. Reed was not pushy sales person he made us feel like he was looking after our interest not sell us some product.

Very disappointed he didn't come prepared to work. This is first time I have ever had a plumber come who didn't spend time "fixing" some problems. Instead he was like a salesperson, which is ok but I should have been told in advance of this. I had set aside the whole day to be here while he worked.

The sewer line from my house had backed up and the original plumber that came out and ran a camera quoted me $17,000 to trench and repair the line. Patrick came out on a Saturday to take a look at the job, came back that Monday to investigate with his own camera, and came up with a much more reasonable estimate. They were here the following week to break ground. They worked down to the root of the problem, worked fast and efficiently and got the job done in 1/2 a day. The scope of the project ended up being less than originally estimated and he adjusted his original quote accordingly without me asking. Fantastic, friendly, and fast! They were very patient and answered all of my questions, sometimes answering the same one twice. Our home was built in the 1800's and the owners before us didn't take very good care of it, Patrick and his team helped us get the well straight as well as giving us advice on other issues.
