Reed and Sons always does a GREAT job for us! Frank, our usual technician, is on time (a big deal for us), always friendly (even when hes had to crawl into the attic for repairs!), and efficient. He always remembers our house and asks how previous work is holding up. They always wear foot coverings and now masks too! (which has been an issue with other contractors we've had out recently so thank you!) We receive an estimate on the spot and it is quick and easy to get the work going! I never feel as though they try to sell me services or upgrades that aren't necessary. Frank is honest and answers all my questions patiently, despite quite a few of them being elementary and redundant as I attempt to understand plumbing. (See More)

We had a bathtub issue that we couldn't fix ourselves, so I called Reed and Son who are my favorite plumbers in the area. They showed up within a few hours, took about 20 minutes to fix the issue. KC and his partner were both extremely nice and friendly and did their work efficiently and well. Plus with my CorporatePlus card from Dan Hozhabri's Group, I got 10% off! Can't complain about that! Initial visit worker mentioned reverse osmosis system was very old and likely needed replacing..I mentioned that I believe that the system was under 5 yrs old However I'd need to look closer at my paperwork as I had only lived in home 1 yr. Worker went on to say that they likely lied to me and just gave me false info to sell home ..provided paperwork after uncomfortable discussion that confirmed system was not old and in fact 5 yrs old..worker did not further discuss and walked away to truck..won't use again due to confrontational manner and poor communication. I work in customer service and understand that there is a way to have a discussion without belittling and talking over the customer I felt as though they wanted to convince me to replace entire system due to the "age" (See More)

I had my hot water heater replaced when it stopped working I called to make an appointment on a Thursday morning, the plumbers came out on a Friday morning, gave me some options and choices and they installed a new heater and removed the old one. Both technicians were friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, punctual and informative. And they did a nice job of cleaning up after their work was done. Their office was also very friendly on the phone and responsive in taking my call and making my appointment. A crew showed up when they said and got our well pumping water into the house. They made sure all the taps were free flowing. They wore booties to prevent tracking in mud and put down cloth protection on the rug where the drilling and cement work was done. KC provided a great experience even if the news was not great. He explained everything in great detail and was honestly disappointed that he could not fix our problem given that the underlying issue was construction, not plumbing. That being said, he provided great advice on next steps, and was thorough and clear in explaining what the issue was . It was evident that he was very experienced and knowledgeable. After addressing this item, he installed a kitchen faucet which looks great, and then provided some additional tips unrelated to the issues we called him for. It is not easy learning you have a major issue that needs addressed, but it is comforting when it comes from someone who demonstrates a great level of professionalism and integrity. I called Reed and Sons after hours on Tuesday because my garbage disposal was leaking. They called me back first thing Wednesday morning and scheduled an appointment for Thursday. KC and Brandon arrived exactly at the promised time. They explained everything to me and even offered me different options to fix the problem. I was thankful for their honesty and their willingness to answer all my questions. I will definitely refer Reed and Sons to friends and family. I had several companies to come out and provide an estimate. KC came out to evaluate my plumbing issues. KC took the time to answer all of my concerns and questions. Because of his great personality and knowledge I decided to go with Reed and Son Services. Also the estimate KC provided was reasonable. KC and Brandon were the plumbers to do the repairs. Contacted Reed & Son Plumbing Services sink trap leakage, faucet leakage etc. Scheduling was promptly and efficiently handled. Tech's sharp eye's also identified a internal leak on the Disposal. Honest plumbers! How refreshing! My kitchen sink had a leak and I initially got a quote from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing who said I needed a new faucet to the tune of $750. I called Reed and Sons instead. They said I didn’t need a new faucet, just tightened some things and fixed my leak for way less. I definitely recommend Reed and Sons. I’ll call them first next time! Reed and Son Services came out to do a thorough investigation of the problem with our pipes before starting the job. They gave us a plan and an estimate and returned on time to do the work. We have a complicated older home, and the plumbers stayed the whole day and completed the job including an additional item. They were very knowledgeable and the work was well done. They took photos to use for future reference of how the pipes were done. They were thorough about cleanup and completed the work in the time frame they said. We have worked with other plumbing companies, and I would definitely recommend Reed and Son. (See More)

The techs came within 20 minutes of my call. They thoroughly checked the shower for plumbing issues. Discovered that the problem was not an issue from plumbing fixtures, but rather from deterioration of caulk in one lower corner of the shower causing the leak. I lost ALL water pressure from ALL the faucets in my Townhouse!. I called Reed and Sons at 9:00 am and although they were fully booked for the week...they managed to have a team of workers (K.C. and Nick) at my Townhouse by 12 noon!!..They analyzed the problem (stuck pressure reduction valve) and , after contacted WSSC to locate my outside cutoff valve, they proceeded to work on the problem. They were both friendly and professional...they answered any question I had about the problem and before I knew it...they had completed the repair!. My water is NOW running PERFECTLY with MORE pressure than I have had for YEARS!! GREAT job by a GREAT COMPANY!!!...I would HIGHLY recommend their services if you need a Plummer! (See More)

When one aspect of the repairs turned out to be more extensive than was detectable at first, he took it in stride and did a complete repair. Although it extended the time I believe he had planned, I knew that it was important to him to do the best job and to be sure I was happy with the results. We had an old pit well that needed to be brought up to code, which included moving all the plumbing that was underground into a tiny closet inside our house. It was a lot of work and a long day for them, but they stuck it out until the job was done, and done well! Reed and Son is an excellent company with which to do business. Also, someone actually answers the phone when you call for service. They promptly scheduled a service visit to see what we would need for a whole house filtration system to replace our existing system that no longer worked. The day of the service they called to see if the technician could come earlier than scheduled. That worked out even better for us. The technician, Kris C, really did an excellent job explaining our options. We decided that we would like him to install his recommended system, which he was able to complete that same day, including removing the old system. Kris did a great job of the installation and removal of the old system. We were back up and operational in no time. While there, Kris noticed a leak in a pipe at our hot water heater. He fixed that as well. I have one recommendation; Kris could have used some help handling the new and old system components. I would definitely recommend Reed and Son. (See More)

I could not be happier with my experience using Reed and Son. I've been putting off dealing with a really tough clog in my kitchen sink for some time but finally decided to research a good, local company. After reading great reviews I decided to go with Reed and Son, and I'm so glad I did. Setting up my appointment was easy and fast. Before my appointment window, I received an email introducing me to the team coming to help me, including a picture so I'd know who to be looking for. Kris C and Nick showed up early on in the time window, covered their shoes to keep my house clean, assessed/gave me a fair quote, and got right to work. It took some extra work to get through my difficult clog and the pair worked diligently through it. Both were polite, courteous, and friendly. Kris offered advice on how to prevent future problems, made a couple of recommendations for future work without being pushy in the slightest, and went above and beyond the work required.
