Wish could give negative stars. Worst case of bait and switch my whole life: 2 years ago, our condenser went out. We got several bids, but Mike B***** from R-Mech was the one who discovered we had blocked vents in 3 out of 4 bedrooms upstairs. So we had output, but no intake. We had wondered why it was always hot upstairs, but had no idea why. We had bought the house a year earlier, but was in the winter, so couldn't test the AC. No way to fix this without completely opening all the walls. Mike talked us into buying a whole new 16 seer system, that would "force" the air from downstairs. This made no sense to us, since we had the blocked vents. He said we needed all this added venting in the basement, including opening a huge hole in the wood floors in our dining room. I wanted to install a split system upstairs, with a new condenser, which would fix our problems, and allow us to shut off the other system at night. R-Mech sells split systems. Mike insisted the whole new system would be better. So we did it. This was over $10k. Big surprise, it's not better. It is 8-10 degrees warmer upstairs than downstairs, which makes it impossible to sleep when it's over 80 degrees. We are miserable, and our electric bills are high, because we are desperately trying to cool the upstairs. I don't know why they wouldn't just sell us or even quote the split system. Probably because it was cheaper. Even Brad the owner came out after it was installed & figured out how bad it still was upstairs, and gave us an upgraded thermostat, to try to make it up to us. Not surprisingly, on the last call to R-Mech I discovered Mike is no longer there. I have tried repeatedly to talk to Brad or Ray, and the messages I have left with the receptionist go unreturned. Would not recommend in the slightest. Complete rip off and scam. (See More)

Jason did a wonderful job asking questions and listening to my responses and general feedback regarding what I was looking for in a new HVAC system. He spent time measuring and analyzing my house to ensure he came up with a proposal that synchronized my wants with what my house could support. I ended up purchasing one of the quoted systems and could not be happier with the installation. I would recommend R-Mech and Jason to anyone interested in quality customer service. (See More)

Had Jason out to provide a quote to replace our heating and air unit. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I did not end up using this company because they were about $1000 higher than another company I was consodering. Overall I was completely happy with Jason (See More)

Had an untimely furnace failure on a Friday morning @ 4am. Jason came by at 11a, assessed the situation and presented options. We ended up deciding on a replacement due to the age of our equipment and the estimated cost to repair the existing unit. Jason was informed and presented our options with no pressure. Great to work with and was able to get a crew out that afternoon to complete the install. That was fantastic as we had no heat and was around 30*F outside. Josh and Jesse did our install work and were great as well. They took time to answer my questions with and always were extremely friendly. They explained everything about the new system, gave an overview of new features, required maintenance, and other details. I got follow-up communication from R-Mech making sure that we were happy with everything and had no other questions. Definitely will use R-Mech again! (See More)

Jason came out to look at my furnace. It ended up having an electrical short in the door safety. this was covered by warranty. He was professional and courteous. I've had other work by R-Mech in the past and have always been happy with their quality of work. (See More)

Jason did a great job. Called about an hour before he arrived so I knew when he would be there. He completed a furnace tune up and fixed an issue with my humidifier. Explained the results to me and made sure I understood everything. He was nice, courteous, and professional. I will definitely use the company and Jason again. (See More)

Very pleased with the service Jason P provided. He came out for a furnace tune-up & check. He was happy to have me hover, answered my questions, explained what he was checking & showed me what he found. Need to replace & upgrade unfortunately, but had suspected that was the case. Jason made the process of choosing the system components relatively painless & explained what the terminology was that's used. Next time I have need of their services, I will request him to work with. (See More)

Jayson Prayson was the HVAC Service Technician who visited us today for a furnace tune up. He was courteous and professional. He called before he came to give us notice of the time he would arrive. He provided his business card upon greeting us. He explained the work he would be performing and kept us informed throughout the visit. I especially appreciate him taking the time to answer some questions for me about the furnace. We have not lived in the home long and I have not had any experience at all in this area. He also did some troubleshooting on my gas fireplace. He worked diligently trying to resolve the issues found. I noted his determination and the professional manner that he exhibited the entire time. I would recommend him and will ask for him when I use this company again for future service. (See More)
