Our toilets overflowed and couldn't be used. Mr. ********************** came out and tried jetting out the pipes but back pressure blew out sewage all over the basement floor. Their cleanup and restoration crew came out and did an excellent job cleaning up and sanitizing the mess. To make a long story short our cast iron pipes (70 years old) were bottomed out in several places and had to be replaced. We now have PVC pipes from inside the home out to the main sewer line under the street. Will ******* did the breakout work inside the home while ********************* coordinated the outside dig. I was really impressed with how quickly this major job all came together. Will was a gentleman and really knows his trade, he kept me informed of all the work that was going on each day and was able to answer all my questions. The breakout in our basement started on a Tuesday and the dig was completed Thursday afternoon. Will kept one of our toilets in service the whole time. They even seeded our lawn after the dig. The price tag was a bit too steep in my opinion but as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for." They did a fantastic job! I am very pleased and will be using Mr. ********************** from here on out. What's best about Mr. ********************** is they're one stop shopping plumbers. My service tech was Michael Ross. I wanted to taka moment to say how great this young man was to work with. He was so customer service oriented and helpful. Incredibly quick response from my initial call in for help (btw Customer service guy that answered the phone was helpful and great). Good comms on estimated time of arrival. Derrick Henderson showed up within the hour. Incredibly nice and genuine guy.....plus he is great technically. Kept me informed on progress and helped me understand the process. I became associated with Mr Rooter about 7 years ago when they were the only one that would answer my emergency distress call. I live in Lancaster and nobody in Lancaster would help me . It was on a Saturday afternoon and I called mr. Rooter and they were here within an hour. They are very professional very reasonable and very friendly. Will H explain to me exactly what I needed what he would do and how much it would cost. After the work was finished he showed me the parts and they were definitely bad. At this time he also gave me an estimate for a new toilet which I intend to have done within the next two to three months and I will request Will as my technician. I called Mr Rooter, for leaking water pipes on tub and my dishwasher. They called me to let me know his name and emailed me his picture. That was awesome. Knew his name and what he looked like. I saw Rodney L while out walking with my dog. I had been trying to have a new toilet installed for months with limited response from other companies. He was very receptive and professional to a stranger approaching his truck. Walked me through how to schedule an appointment through the dispatcher and was available to come by the next day. I needed to fix some fix some plumbing fixtures in my house and decided to try mr rooter and see what a quote would cost. I filled out a online contact me card and not even 3 minutes later I got a call back. I explained my issues that needed fixed and they got me setup for someone to come onsite within a few days depending on my availability. The tech came onsite examined the issues and provided solutions to what would need done. I coordinated a time to do the work and have my property management come onsite to shut the water off. When the day arrived the tech was here when requested and he even reviewed my situation ahead of time ( it was about 3 weeks after the quote was given) to make sure he was familiarized with the project. The work he was quick and thorough. He even made sure the neighbors around me didn’t have issues when the work was done. Dustin was great and very knowledgeable.
We purchased a new refrigerator and the old refrigerator was using a cooper water line for the ice/water dispenser. The delivery drivers wasn't able to install it. Therefore, in a panic I called Mr. Rooter and Dustin came out to help in a very quick manner. He explained everything, what he was going to do, and what I should look for if anything happens. We were told we had a 'bellied line'. We had never heard of this, so we called several companies for second opinions and to compare quotes. Mr. Rooter best described the issue (showed us on camera). Josh did a great job explaining the scope of the work and we chose Mr. Rooter as a result of his professionalism and Mr. Rooter's guarantee. The company sent a technician named Will Huffman. I cant speak highly enough of how Will represented his brand. His professionalism, his workmanship and the care he took to protect the areas of our home that he came in contact with were recognized and appreciate! During the noisy parts of his work or doing the brief times the facilities were down, Will gave us plenty of notice to ensure we were prepared and comfortable. At the end of the project, the area was left impeccable! It was a costly repair, however the financing options were helpful. I am very satisfied with the work done on my home! Dustin was very professional and thorough! He made sure my husband and I both completely understood what the issue was and let us know what needed to be completed in order to fix the problem. This may sound crazy but he literally worked until he was able to make a clear decision as to where the clog was and where/hot the leaking occurred. Very nice man! Like many of you we had a plumbing emergency. Lowe's came to install our new fridge and broke the valve in the process pouring water all over my basement. They said they couldn't help and just left. Then we called 5 different plumbers, none of which could come out the same day. Then, Mr. Rooter said they could come out and they were here within the hour.
Enter Dustin...Dustin took amazing care of us, he quickly fixed the problem and showed us the issue, and he did it all with an amazing attitude. Then, he offered to do Lowe's job for them since then didn't do the job. So he spent over an hour adjust our fridge, assembling it, moving it into the house, and installing it. THAT is ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE. We can't thank Mr. Rooter and Dustin enough. If they're smart, Mr. Rooter will have Dustin train all of their front line employees...Thanks Dustin! I called Mr. Rooter for helping remove and fix a seized gas pipe fixture attached to our old stove so that we could install a new one. We were lucky to have Rodney Lattimer, who was not only prompt driving out to Marysville where we live, but worked quickly and efficiently and was the best service worker that I've had the pleasure of doing business with. He was honest, personable, and professional, and we couldn't ask for anyone better to have come out to help us! They say we’re clean. You won’t even know we’ve been here. OMG what a lie. The dust and filth that was left for me to clean up was horrible. I was demanded to pay the last half of the $22,000 before they were totally finished. They did come back and finish. This was in February of 2020. A year later I had another drain clog beside where they did work. For $22,000 I should have not had any clogs for a long time. Ladies watch out for Jimmy he’s a big flirt. My newly chip and seal driveway is now a big mess. The outside clean out drain is in the middle of my flower bed and sets sideways. I would not recommend Mr Rooter to anyone. This is the first part of a review that will be updated with more once the second job is completed. I live in an older house and had a toilet backup causing the sewer line to fail. I called late Saturday night and they showed up early Sunday morning ahead of the promised time. Chris was very courteous, took the time to explain the problem, completed the partial fix agreed upon and installed the new toilet which works like a charm. I look forward to working with Chris and team again when they come out to do the bigger job that starts tomorrow.
Aaron was called out because of the bigger job I just mentioned. He had to deliver the bad news about the extended damage to the old pipes, the repairs needed which would also need to include bringing the plumbing up to the current code. Aaron was very detailed in his explanation, answered all the questions we had, and explained he would be overseeing the detailed work over the next week. Yes this is an expensive fix, but it had to be done. We were not pressured at any point and were given enough time to make the hard decisions. I look forward to working with Aaron over the next week as well.

I have used Mr Rooter in the past and again most recently. Although they can be a little pricey, the payoff is a 2-hour Appt window and same day service. Chad F was cordial and knowledgeable. So thankful for Mr Rooter! Called Mr Rooter on Sunday morning after calling another company that would not come out until 2 days later, Mr Rooter customer service was helpful. The crew came out right away same day and gave free estimate. They jetted the drains and showed us the camera. Gave us options of snake or jet and got us back up and running same day until we can have our outside repaired. Going with the jet option is better because it totally cleans the whole drain and you see the camera. We are having them repair our outside sewage pipes that are filled with roots and crushed terracotta in a couple days that we could see with the camera. Torrey H was professional and easy to talk to. He did a great job and was very thorough. We did not feel pressured to use the company or not. Mr. Rooter may charge more than other crews, but they came when we needed them and worked till completion. Anybody else we tried couldn't fit us in for two or more weeks. When your sewer lines are failing, two weeks is not ideal.
Will and all the Mr. Rooter employees who worked with us were professional, skilled, affable, respectful, and very hard workers. We couldn't be more pleased to a.) have our sewer issue resolved, b.) have had such a good result, and c.) were fortunate enough to have Will assigned to our work project. Diagnosing and fixing sewer issues is a dirty, labor intensive job but I'm thankful we were able to get help without delay; our crisis happened just before Thanksgiving, of course. Will carefully explained each step and answered every question. He worked tirelessly and with the utmost care. He cleaned up the work site when he was finished. I appreciate every detail. Steve Dierzawski was quite courteous and professional. He was very knowledgeable and was voluntarily instrumental in getting an electrical problem related to my plumbing problem fixed.
My house had no hot water, due to the gas having been shut off for safety reasons. This was because of damage to the gas meter on the side of the house. He took the initiative in encouraging his supervisors to get both plumbing and electrical repairs done on the same day and very quickly. The electrical grounding was done by Mr. Electric, another company owned by the owner of Mr. Rooter - Columbus. My field tech Mitch’s name was omitted from your internet site. Mitch came twice in a 4 day period. The second time was more in depth. He was very helpful, worked quick, and very courteous.
