Our air conditioning failed during a heat wave. The system was more than ten years old and
we didn't have a service record on it. We opted to put in a new unit and to replace the heating
unit at the same time. Mt. View had the units installed and operating in three days. The installation process was completed in a single day. They arranged for the electrician to do
the necessary electrical work and ordered a new vent cover for the larger return air. We
think the crew did an exceptional installation, and are very happy with the new units.

I had choices during my search for a heating and cooling contractor. First dis qualifier was the phone reception person. MtViewHeating passed at 100%. Then on to sales who came to our home, put on shoe protectors and did the under-house inspection, heating vents and everything you'd expect. He wasn't selling used cars and presented himself professionally answering all our questions. So we committed. Instillation was good by a group of installers who knew their stuff. Projected to be two days..it was done in one. Two inspectors came out to approve - both said Mt. View Heating always did a great job. They said not true with others in the Bend/La Pine area.
Later I had rebate questions. They were promptly answered. At all levels they were professional and did a great job. We are ecstatic with our units and looking forward to a cold winter. Our heat pump went out and we got several bids. The one that we went with was Mountain View they were not the lowest price but Justin went above and beyond to explain the products and benefits. They brought the paperwork to us, showed up when scheduled and worked in really cold temps to make sure the job was done right! They have followed up with us just be sure everything was working OK - they decided to adjust the pump after tests. My unit went kaput! I read a lot regarding these types of heat pumps and after discussing it with MVH, they helped me decide which one to choose.
The unit installed is much more efficient than the 10 year old unit.
Installation was professional. The team took care to pay particular attention to the details.

Mountain View Heating has been exceptional for us. We had them install a Lennox air conditioner this summer and had a great experience. From the estimation process to the install everything has gone smoothly. In comparison to other dealers we contacted for bids they were much more thorough. When they came to give an estimate there were several small details like a dryer vent that needed to be moved and some electrical work that would be necessary. They noticed these things and were able to give us solutions for these before they were a problem after or during the install. This as not the case with other company bids. While they were working in our crawl space they even noticed an issue with some other duct work and fixed this without any extra charge.

We very much appreciated our experience with this dealer. The only hiccup came at the end. We had arranged to take care of the electrical work ourselves, but they went ahead and called their own contracter out anyway. We then received a bill from that contracter. I obtained several bids before choosing Mountain View. Theirs was not the lowest price, but their salesperson explained how to compare apples to oranges, and the information he shared was backed up by research I did on Consumer Reports. As did the person who came to our home to present the bid, the installation team arrived at exactly the scheduled time. They were professional, courteous and efficient as well as NATE certified. The crew at Mt. View Heating and Cooling was extremely professional. The salesman (Cole) can over multiple times for me to sign paperwork so I didn't have to bring my very busy 16 month old to their office.
The install happened on the day it was scheduled and everything was done on that very day. The install crew, including the contracted electricians, were friendly and hard working

From the moment I ordered the A/C they handled everything very professionally! They had in stock just the size needed for my house. Installation was hardly noticed inside the house! Mt View Heating installed my previous heating and cooling equipment when my home was built and serviced it annually. I have always been impressed with the professional personnel and quality. When I needed to replace my heat pump, I only contacted them. There were a few issues at installation but the management was right there to help. The technician was able to give me information about how the unit worked in great detail. My review on the Lennox SLP98 and installation!
We were searching for a new furnace for sometime and decided to stop by Mountain View Heating in Bend Oregon. What an experience that was,they were the most helpful people . They set up the appointment for the estimate ,came to our house 50 miles away and walked us through the options and types of Lennox furnaces that they have to offer! We decided on the SLP98 the best one they had .It is a great furnace ,like you have heard a thousand times you can hardly hear it running. The best thing about this furnace as far as I'm concerned is it is in the basement. Before the install the basement had a mildew smell, Now with the new Lennox there is no smell at all! Now to the heating part of my Review. we have 1500 feet in our living area and this furnace heats the whole house,it's awesome! Before the install we had 2 furnaces to heat our house and they were old and all of the heat went up the vents! So anybody reading this review you can't go wrong with Lennox and Mountain View Heating ! The best money I have ever spent! Gal who came out to do quote was knowledgeable, polite and prepared. Had good ideas and took time to assess my needs prior to preparing quote; provided several options for me to choose from.
Installer was on-time, prepared and clear about how installation process would work, and his estimated time from start to finish. Maintained a clean work area while he was there and cleaned up the area before he left, taking packing materials, etc. from the AC unit.
Billing and front office help was professional and gave me excellent financing and payment options.
