Ken Schneiter from Mountain View Heating did an excellent job servicing our high efficiency heater. After the all the smoke from the fires last year, the filter definitely needed changing. From Scott's visit and proposal for a new heat pump and air handler to the final installation, the work was done with care and professionalism. We are very happy with the new installation and the heating it provides. The sealing of the vents is something recommended and paid by Central Electric, which I had not considered. A vent was found detached which should result in better heating.. In all, I highly recommend Scott and the installation team from Mountain View. They will be taking care of our needs in the future. We’ve been serviced by Mountain View since our home was built 24 years ago...always receiving excellent service. Recently our original Lennox furnace of 24 years failed and we realized it was time to consider a complete replacement. Given several options with great consulting we chose Lennox again. We have been using Mt. View for service during the 18 years we have lived in our home. The previous owners also used Mt. View so we hope loyalty and familiarity with our system helps us get the best service. We recently had to replace the 22+ year old heat pump and the job was done within a day of arriving with the new heat pump and coil. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of installing my Lennox wall unit in an upstairs bedroom! I have 2 bedrooms upstairs and no zonal heating. By installing the one unit, and with the proper circulation (and doors open) I am able to cool both rooms! From the sales rep who came to preview and recommend the proper unit, to the installer (Cory?) who worked in the hot sun and did a very professional job, to the folks from Kercher Elec who did the electrical, it was an outstanding and very professional job. A shoutout to Ken Schneiter, Steve Ontjes, and Jamie for the awesome service provided in replacing my furnace. Being a parttime resident with "no heat", Jamie managed to schedule Ken within a day and when it became apparent that the furnace needed to be replaced, Steve was out the same day for an estimate. Steve returned the following day to place the order and assisted with scheduling installation the same week! And in scheduling, Jamie found an outstanding permit inspection issue and assisted in providing critical information to resolve it. All demonstrated the best in customer service and professionalism. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Had a question about our humidifier and received a timely response and an invitation to call back if necessary. Initially I had asked to have my heater serviced, never had problem before - but it was old and I was worried about it after last winter. After the service my heater started acting up, then they had to come back, fix something that wasn't done before. Then it happened again, found something out that needed to be replaced and it was cold and we were without. I had to figure out if I should replace the parts or buy a new heating system - so I got a bid. They provided me a very high end of the spectrum bid for a new heating system and I hemmed and hawed, ended up talking to someone who came back and met me more than half way on the bid - even sorting out the cost component from the ineffective initial maintenance. All in all - I came in at 2 stars but ended up with 5 stars and warm home for the family. This to me is hometown local business doing what's right and making things work for local home owners. We had them come in to replace another heat pump that a different company had installed which did not work with our Lennox system even though that company said it would. Mt. View did a great job. There was still an issue after they left but they came back the next day and found it quickly (in the circuit board) and fixed it for no charge to us. I highly recommend them. I had a problem with my furnace and Mountain View came within hours of my call to inspect it. By the end of the same day, they had provided me with an estimate for repairs and also costs for an upgrade. Because my furnace was 20 yrs old, we decided to replace it. I was impressed with everything leading up to the installation. However, the follow-up after installation was initiated by me. I recommend Mountain View Heating should immediately make a courtesy call to inform the customer detailing the outcome of the furnace installation's, and then another call to see how everything is working out. It's an expensive purchase and deserves follow-up. I was 1000 miles away from the house and was obviously anxious to know the outcome. Otherwise, the service was good. We've had our old furnace (Lennox, 1990) serviced by Mtn. View Heating since we moved to Sunriver in 1996. We have always had great service.

The Complete Heat hot water system at our mountain vacation home failed on Thanksgiving Day and we had a full house with kids, grand kids, dogs and more. I assumed we would have to cancel the weekend and send everyone home. I called the Mountain View Heat hotline and was pleasantly surprised to reach a human! She scheduled a tech for the next day, he got us going again and saved the weekend! He also arranged for a quote on a replacement system the same day.
