Ken Schneiter from Mountain View Heating did an excellent job servicing our high efficiency heater. After the all the smoke from the fires last year, the filter definitely needed changing. Quick, reliable, and professional service. We use their Comfort Club program which gives us a discount on yearly services. (See More)

From Scott's visit and proposal for a new heat pump and air handler to the final installation, the work was done with care and professionalism. We are very happy with the new installation and the heating it provides. The sealing of the vents is something recommended and paid by Central Electric, which I had not considered. A vent was found detached which should result in better heating.. In all, I highly recommend Scott and the installation team from Mountain View. They will be taking care of our needs in the future. We’ve been serviced by Mountain View since our home was built 24 years ago...always receiving excellent service. Recently our original Lennox furnace of 24 years failed and we realized it was time to consider a complete replacement. Given several options with great consulting we chose Lennox again. We have been using Mt. View for service during the 18 years we have lived in our home. The previous owners also used Mt. View so we hope loyalty and familiarity with our system helps us get the best service. We recently had to replace the 22+ year old heat pump and the job was done within a day of arriving with the new heat pump and coil. We are still waiting for the county inspection since that was obviously part of what we paid. I guess I'll follow up on that myself. (See More)

I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome of installing my Lennox wall unit in an upstairs bedroom! I have 2 bedrooms upstairs and no zonal heating. By installing the one unit, and with the proper circulation (and doors open) I am able to cool both rooms! From the sales rep who came to preview and recommend the proper unit, to the installer (Cory?) who worked in the hot sun and did a very professional job, to the folks from Kercher Elec who did the electrical, it was an outstanding and very professional job. A shoutout to Ken Schneiter, Steve Ontjes, and Jamie for the awesome service provided in replacing my furnace. Being a parttime resident with "no heat", Jamie managed to schedule Ken within a day and when it became apparent that the furnace needed to be replaced, Steve was out the same day for an estimate. Steve returned the following day to place the order and assisted with scheduling installation the same week! And in scheduling, Jamie found an outstanding permit inspection issue and assisted in providing critical information to resolve it. All demonstrated the best in customer service and professionalism. Everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Had a question about our humidifier and received a timely response and an invitation to call back if necessary. Initially I had asked to have my heater serviced, never had problem before - but it was old and I was worried about it after last winter. After the service my heater started acting up, then they had to come back, fix something that wasn't done before. Then it happened again, found something out that needed to be replaced and it was cold and we were without. I had to figure out if I should replace the parts or buy a new heating system - so I got a bid. They provided me a very high end of the spectrum bid for a new heating system and I hemmed and hawed, ended up talking to someone who came back and met me more than half way on the bid - even sorting out the cost component from the ineffective initial maintenance. All in all - I came in at 2 stars but ended up with 5 stars and warm home for the family. This to me is hometown local business doing what's right and making things work for local home owners. We had them come in to replace another heat pump that a different company had installed which did not work with our Lennox system even though that company said it would. Mt. View did a great job. There was still an issue after they left but they came back the next day and found it quickly (in the circuit board) and fixed it for no charge to us. I highly recommend them. (See More)

I had a problem with my furnace and Mountain View came within hours of my call to inspect it. By the end of the same day, they had provided me with an estimate for repairs and also costs for an upgrade. Because my furnace was 20 yrs old, we decided to replace it. I was impressed with everything leading up to the installation. However, the follow-up after installation was initiated by me. I recommend Mountain View Heating should immediately make a courtesy call to inform the customer detailing the outcome of the furnace installation's, and then another call to see how everything is working out. It's an expensive purchase and deserves follow-up. I was 1000 miles away from the house and was obviously anxious to know the outcome. Otherwise, the service was good. (See More)

We've had our old furnace (Lennox, 1990) serviced by Mtn. View Heating since we moved to Sunriver in 1996. We have always had great service. When our old furnace needed an expensive repair, we bought a new, high efficient Lennox furnace. Cole from Mtn. View Heating coordinated the work, including the subcontractors. The Complete Heat hot water system at our mountain vacation home failed on Thanksgiving Day and we had a full house with kids, grand kids, dogs and more. I assumed we would have to cancel the weekend and send everyone home. I called the Mountain View Heat hotline and was pleasantly surprised to reach a human! She scheduled a tech for the next day, he got us going again and saved the weekend! He also arranged for a quote on a replacement system the same day. Mountain View completed this new project (including minor construction work required) on time and on budget. Our air conditioning failed during a heat wave. The system was more than ten years old and we didn't have a service record on it. We opted to put in a new unit and to replace the heating unit at the same time. Mt. View had the units installed and operating in three days. The installation process was completed in a single day. They arranged for the electrician to do the necessary electrical work and ordered a new vent cover for the larger return air. I had choices during my search for a heating and cooling contractor. First dis qualifier was the phone reception person. MtViewHeating passed at 100%. Then on to sales who came to our home, put on shoe protectors and did the under-house inspection, heating vents and everything you'd expect. He wasn't selling used cars and presented himself professionally answering all our questions. So we committed. Instillation was good by a group of installers who knew their stuff. Projected to be two days..it was done in one. Two inspectors came out to approve - both said Mt. View Heating always did a great job. They said not true with others in the Bend/La Pine area. Later I had rebate questions. They were promptly answered. At all levels they were professional and did a great job. We are ecstatic with our units and looking forward to a cold winter. Our heat pump went out and we got several bids. The one that we went with was Mountain View they were not the lowest price but Justin went above and beyond to explain the products and benefits. They brought the paperwork to us, showed up when scheduled and worked in really cold temps to make sure the job was done right! They have followed up with us just be sure everything was working OK - they decided to adjust the pump after tests. Mountain View Heating has been exceptional for us. We had them install a Lennox air conditioner this summer and had a great experience. From the estimation process to the install everything has gone smoothly. In comparison to other dealers we contacted for bids they were much more thorough. When they came to give an estimate there were several small details like a dryer vent that needed to be moved and some electrical work that would be necessary. They noticed these things and were able to give us solutions for these before they were a problem after or during the install. This as not the case with other company bids. While they were working in our crawl space they even noticed an issue with some other duct work and fixed this without any extra charge. I would not hesitate to recommend Mountain View. (See More)

We had arranged to take care of the electrical work ourselves, but they went ahead and called their own contracter out anyway. We then received a bill from that contracter. Theirs was not the lowest price, but their salesperson explained how to compare apples to oranges, and the information he shared was backed up by research I did on Consumer Reports. As did the person who came to our home to present the bid, the installation team arrived at exactly the scheduled time. They were professional, courteous and efficient as well as NATE certified. My review on the Lennox SLP98 and installation! We were searching for a new furnace for sometime and decided to stop by Mountain View Heating in Bend Oregon. What an experience that was,they were the most helpful people . They set up the appointment for the estimate ,came to our house 50 miles away and walked us through the options and types of Lennox furnaces that they have to offer! We decided on the SLP98 the best one they had .It is a great furnace ,like you have heard a thousand times you can hardly hear it running. The best thing about this furnace as far as I'm concerned is it is in the basement. Before the install the basement had a mildew smell, Now with the new Lennox there is no smell at all! Now to the heating part of my Review. we have 1500 feet in our living area and this furnace heats the whole house,it's awesome! Before the install we had 2 furnaces to heat our house and they were old and all of the heat went up the vents! So anybody reading this review you can't go wrong with Lennox and Mountain View Heating ! The best money I have ever spent! Installer was on-time, prepared and clear about how installation process would work, and his estimated time from start to finish. Maintained a clean work area while he was there and cleaned up the area before he left, taking packing materials, etc. from the AC unit.
