The pandemic made replacing my water heater extremely difficult. Nobody had water heaters in stock! Duane went above and beyond to help me find a replacement water heater and get it installed. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about exactly what needed to be done. He communicated throughout the process, even when things were stalled because of backorders and slow shipping. Duane briefed me on best and worst case scenarios and pointed out errors the condo developer made that he corrected. He was able to do some very intricate work in a very tight space and completed the work in a timely fashion. Duane is a credit to the plumbing profession. (See More)

Duane was awesome. The services were expensive but it was an emergency. Duane explained well everything they were doing and worked very quickly. They tidied up after themselves and even offered to help with some other bits and pieces that needed doing for no charge. Would definitely use magnolia again and Duane in particular. (See More)

My technician Duane C is tops. He not only repaired multiple items in my home he explained what was wrong, gave me options regarding the repairs and after the repairs were completed he explained the proper was to use the items and what I should do to maintain them. He even showed me a drain value for an exterior water source that I had not noticed before and was the reason the exterior line continued to freeze every year. I now know how to turn the water off and drain the line. Thank you Duane C, after living here for over 30 years I am still learning more about my home. (See More)

I can't say enough good things about Duane Cunningham and his crew. The entire ordeal of having break in my water service line -- while trying to move back into my house after an overseas tour --was stressful. Mr. Cunningham showed not only the utmost professionalism; he was also patient, courteous, and extremely considerate. He went above and beyond as I juggled a number of other contractors while making my residence "make-ready." His professional advice and work ethic were exemplary. During the installation of the new line, we found that Magnolia would have to cut through membrane installed by another contractor for waterproofing. Mr. Cunningham was extremely considerate and patient as I contacted the water-proofing company to supervise/inspect Magnolia's pipe installation so that the warranty on the waterproofing could be maintained. If all of Magnolia's staff are as great as Mr. Cunningham, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Thanks Duane for all your hard work and assistance during this extremely trying period. I needed to have several plumbing repairs handled at my place of residence. So I contacted Magnolia Plumbing. They have always been professional and knowledgeable. Last week I have Duane Cunningham arrive and he was very polite and professional and very efficient. He explained all of what would be needed to perform the repairs and he performed each task timely and effectively. Magnolia Plumbing Heating and Cooling will always be my 1st choice. (See More)

Regret that our 2nd service experience with Magnolia was disappointing. Having purchased an HVAC contract last November, we felt like victims of "bait and switch" tactics this morning when advised that our 2nd AC unit was not part of the original agreement. Our confidence level fell further due to doubts in the repair options/recommendations made to address Freon leaks in what has been prior to this visit AC equipment in good condition. We'll be seeking other HVAC maintenance options. (See More)

I am not sure what happened during my conversation with the individual with whom I initially spoke. When my call was answered, before I spoke with the individual with whom I discussed the service contract, I asked if Magnolia fixed appliances. I was given the answer yes. Based on that I went forth with the discussion about scheduling a repair appointment. The service contract was discussed and somehow (perhaps my fault), I went forth with the service contract with the idea that appliances would be covered, as well as HVAC and plumbing. When the repair person arrived, he checked the dishwasher and diagnosed what he thought might be the issue. When I asked him about repairing it, he told me that Magnolia did not repair appliances and that I would have to have someone else do the job. Needless to say, I was surprised, given that my initial question before I started the process was to ask about appliance repair. I am requesting a cancelation of the service agreement and crediting of my credit card. I was informed that I would be hearing about a solution to this situation, before the end of this day, or by tomorrow. I appreciate being contacted about the resolution. (See More)

The service tech was very good and responded on time, that's where it ended, estimate for replacing a standard 1/2 in. pressure balance and a 1/2 in. shutoff valve was double what another company had given, so I called the other company. Don't know why Magnolia Plumbing charges so much more then some other companies, if money is not important to you, use them, otherwise use a company with free estimates and reasonable pricing, hope this helps someone. I already explained the repair failure to Diane who sent the receipt by email. Your plumber did not know how to solve the problem without a building shutoff. A second plumber called by our Condo Board analyzed the problem correctly and installed a satisfactory repair with no building shutoff that would suffice until we could later replace the faulty shutoff valve. I just had a serious plumbing issue at one of my rental properties. A condo with gas water heater that is tied into the Heat and AC. No small job as I went through one independent plumber and two larger plumbing companies before getting to Duane Cunningham and Magnolia Plumbing. I want mention the other companies by name but their service was awful. Duane Cunningham and his entire support team at Magnolia Plumbing were so professional it was like night and day. His support persons, Monique and Tynisha, scheduled the initial appointment without any drama, just really nice and professional. Duane showed up when he was scheduled and assessed the entire situation and wrote an appropriate estimate. I compared his estimate with two others I had received. He was in the middle on price but he was knowledgeable and explained all of the details. Please understand I own and have renovated several properties and I know a lot about plumbing---this special system costs over $4,000 to replace; it's not a run to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a $600 water heater and go slap it in. This job required a County Work Permit. But at the end of the day, I have nothing but praise for a job well done. Completed exactly on schedule and about $150 less than estimated. These are 3 very important points and I am grateful. I will not hesitate to call Magnolia Plumbing in the future and ask for Duane Cunningham when I do. And again, kudos to Monique and Tynisha for their great front office support.

I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when Magnolia was able to send someone out to check our hot water heater on a Friday night. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful.
