Continuing the excellent service I received from MacGregor since my first contact last October for complete HVAC/hot water heater replacement in two houses we purchasing in Boyne City: 1. James Jr visited last Sat after we arrived Fri night and had no hot water. 2. Within 15 minutes, James Jr had the pilot relit and waited another 15-30 min to be sure everything was OK. We are completely satisfied with service from MacGregor. (See More)

Unfortunately, I can’t provide any feedback on the actual installation since I am stuck in the DC area rather than beautiful Northern Michigan. I will say that it has been a great pleasure working with MacGregor. The other big company Up North came out to provide an estimate but then never gave me the actual estimate and never followed up on my calls. MacGregor has been very responsive and focused on customer service. I have been working with several other providers (ranging from large to small) on projects back in DC and the workmanship and response times have been horrible. Great pleasure to see an exception to what unfortunately has become the rule to bad customer service. Again, I have not seen or experienced the final product, but given the responsiveness I assume that it will be first rate. Much thanks (See More)

I was expecting my 1 yr furnace inspection in December, only to see MacGregor Service was at my door the 3rd week in November, I was very surprised and very pleased. A year ago, they removed old furnace and installed new one. I am very happy with the cost, the service and the great install and service staff! (See More)

We’ve had MacGregor perform our heating & cooling service for 3 years. They have always been very professional, honest & fair.
We finally had to replace our furnace. The service technician James O Jr also was very professional, knowledgeable, & courteous. When finished he thoroughly cleaned up & explained our new system (furnace, humidifier, & thermostat) to us.
So far, it is working efficiently, now heating our home more evenly.

I would like to thank Mike and his very professional associates, Junior and Noodin for there excellent work installing my new furnace, humidifier, and air conditioner. Everyone was courteous and they did excellent work in a timely fashion. They even worked on the air conditioner in the rain. Junior helped train me on the new thermostat and made it easy to connect the device to my iPhone. Both of them did a nice job cleaning up after they were finished. It was a pleasure to have them in our home. We would recommend them to anyone, including our family members. Prior to the recent work, we really enjoyed working with Nick who installed our new water softener. He was very helpful and did excellent work! We will be clients of MacGregor for life! (See More)
