A power outage surged our geothermal unit during a recent wind storm. I contacted MacGregor’s after hours as we had no heat. James came immediately and was unable to fix the problem that night. He offered some heaters to get us thru the night until he could return the next day. Very courteous. We have used MacGregor’s for years. MacGregor recently installed both a new air conditioner and new water heater in my home. They were very skilled, knowledgeable and personable. They answered my large volume of questions and provided clear and understandable answers. They showed up on-time and treated my home as if they were working on their own home-- i.e. they cleaned up, were careful moving things around, always wore a mask, put on shoe covers whenever they came into the house, etc. Their prices were slightly lower than their competitors, but their service quality was superb. I would definitely use them again in the future!!! (See More)

Jim was the on call technician for the after hours shift. I discovered at 11 p.m. that I had a quarter of my basement filled with water. He came to the house, diagnosed the issue (sump pump not working), went back to the shop for a new pump, came back to install it and got it running. We had a plumbing emergency when a pump failed. MacGregor Plumbing & Heating responded immediately and quickly solved our problem as a priority. Our service technician James did an outstanding job of replacing the difficult-to access pump. He was highly professional but also very courteous, friendly and helpful. He was honest and transparent in his assessment of the situation, solution, and cost. We completely trust the work he did, which exceeded our expectations. He was very conscientious about wearing appropriate clothing and shoe covers to protect our house. And he did a thorough job of cleaning up afterward.
