We are so glad we chose DiSabatino Landscaping for our backyard project. Everyone we dealt with was so friendly and professional. It was such a pleasure working with Dave, he came up with a great design for a patio and landscaping. He always answered our questions promptly and kept us updated as the project progressed. Great team, worked all fall in less than ideal conditions. New Deck, installed a water tight under deck space, lights and fans are in waiting on weather for a big party. new Concrete deck around pool and finally some real landscaping and lights. My wife and I had DiSabatino install an outdoor patio, gas fire pit, seat wall, and pillars, with landscaping. We are very pleased with the work. Vinny and Mark worked with us on the proposal to customize it to our liking. No request was too small to answer. We went to their office a few times to look at samples and get clarification about the project. Once the work started, the workers were friendly and courteous. They cleaned up the area before leaving for the day. We never had to worry about the work area. DiSabatino looks steps to remediate any damage done to the lawn area (while moving in supplies, pavers, etc.) They graciously returned several times to fix up stubborn areas. DiSabatino also arranged for a plumber to install the gas line from the house to the fire pit. Tom the plumber was also friendly and courteous. He had no trouble getting the permit approved. He helped us get a higher capacity gas meter for the house, due to the addition of the fire pit. We like the landscaping installed behind the seat wall. Mark worked with my wife to select ideal plants and bushes. DiSabatino even watered the landscaping, just after installation, when we left on a trip in the heat of the summer. My wife and I would enthusiastically recommend DiSabatino for hardscaping and landscaping work. You may pay a little more compared to some other companies, but you get quality work and a company with a well-deserved reputation. (See More)

Vince Esposito and DiSabatino Landscaping have handled all our stone and cement needs and every bit of that work through the years has always been handled efficiently and professionally. On our most recent job of replacing a sidewalk section witch had been displace by a tree root, there was a question as to how to handle the large root. The DiSabatino arborist was called and he directed the cutting of the root, so as not to hurt the tree. A good job by everyone involved. (See More)

Ivan Mazur is my design consultant and I was immediately comfortable working with him. He listened to my needs and turned them into reality. My side yard is sloped and made it difficult for my aging dog to manage it. Ivan suggested a stone retaining wall to keep the raised ground supported. I asked for steps to still be able to access the rest of the yard. Well, today after 3 days of construction under the care of Jose H 1 my backyard looks beautiful. The whole team made my vision come true. I and my family will continue to enjoy this space for many years to come. Thank you to all the men who worked to complete my project. I was kept informed by the office as to when my project was expected to start and as the job became close to being installed, the office was keeping me updated. I highly recommend DiSabatino Landscaping. I had the privilege of working with Ivan, Pavel, Carlos, and Luis. From beginning to end, the process went very smoothly. Ivan worked with me to help create exactly what I wanted. Even when I know I was being picky, he never made me feel like I was. :) He has a great sense of humor which made it fun to work with him. Ivan also did a great job answering my questions in a timely manner which I really appreciated. Pavel and Carlos worked extremely hard. They were prompt and fully focused the entire time they were at my home. I was impressed with their dedication and commitment to the project. They were easy to talk to and made sure that I was pleased with the progress and results. They were both very flexible as well. Luis did an excellent job installing the lights. He was very particular to keep everything neat, and he really listened to what I wanted. I can't say enough positive things about this team. I have had many projects completed on my home over the years, and this is by far the best experience I have had with a group of dedicated professionals. Fantastic work!!! Ivan was the job consultant and he was a joy to work with. He answered all my questions and came up with fantastic ideas for the project. We worked together investigating several workable options that would cure my drainage and erosion issue. The crew of Jose H1 was amazing. Their workmanship, efficiency, and professionalism was excellent! I was amazed at the end result. The crew took the utmost care to protect plants and property as if it was their own. They cleaned up the work area every day. A perfect example of taking pride in one's work. I would use them again for any landscaping/hardscaping project. DiSabatino's team was very professional from start to finish. Mark McGinnis did an excellent job of consulting with us, assessing our needs, and developing a proposal. He invested significant time to create a 3-D representation of his solution without any financial obligation on our part. The 3-D representation won the day against other bidding contractors because it was both the best design and the best presentation. Mark's level of confidence in his ability to win our business impressed us, and he never disappointed us afterwards. They did a superior job. Not only did they hand weed front and back, they weed-whacked and cut bushes and branches., dug out unwanted bushes, cleaned up everything, swept the sidewalk. They put down mulch and raked it nicely, It looks wonderful. (See More)

Crew replaced back steps from brick patio down into the rear lawn & garden. They worked hard and did an excellent job and cleared all debris and waste. The job took about 2.5 days because of poor weather during parts of installation, but through out the crew kept at it and did an outstanding job. (See More)

They completed, what i think to be a large job (stone all flower beds, trimming, removal and rearrangement of our shrubs) in a single day, and left the property looking very clean. We recently finished the second of a two project effort to complete the conversion of a backyard facing in-law suite to usable family space (as well as a long list of other jobs). Part 1 included removing a full kitchen and converting the space to a laundry room, modifying a full bath, and replacing dated floor tile with laminate flooring. This was all completed in February 2018. During Part 2 and using the design advice of Tom Wiechecki, Justin and Roberto removed the suite's private entryway and replaced it with windows (including an enormous bay window) covering the span of the entire wall. A large slider was installed in an adjacent wall whose placement also helped to define a future deck area, which the property does not have. Mind that our home's backyard is mature woods and a pond, none of which was easily viewed from inside the house. All of those new windows brought in that view in spectacular fashion. I cannot begin to describe how lovely the room is now and from the outside, the rear view of the house seems more architecturally balanced, as if it was always meant to be that way. An unused propane fireplace was removed. An existing bay window was repurposed in a rear facing wall of the new laundry room, giving that a pretty vista as well. Additional shelving was added to the bathroom and hallway for much needed storage and display space. The final effort of Part 2 (and during the hottest days so far this year), Justin and Roberto installed a lovely woodburning insert to our fireplace (they replaced the old painted brick with stone during Part 1) which included climbing on the roof and force feeding maybe 35 feet of flue down the chimney stack after removing what remained of what they thought had been a raccoon. (Yikes!) The design ideas brought both quality and beauty to our home. The execution and craftsmanship of both legs of the project were completed seamlessly and flawlessly. Justin and Roberto were professional, timely, and prepared for whatever issues and change orders came up, as always happens with any home improvement project. They were always ready to think out of the box for solutions whenever this quirky, 1950's house decided not to co-operate. Lines of communication were open for updates and discussion. A thorough clean-up was always done at the end of the work day. I cannot recommend DiSabatino highly enough. Thank you, Tom, Justin, and Roberto! (See More)

DiSabatino Landscaping completely reworked the front of our townhouse and we are very pleased with the results. All plantings, stone and textile were removed, the elevation was regraded to eliminate stone 'avalanches' and to emphasize the concrete steps, then new textile, stones and plantings were installed. Larger stones were used at the corners and edges to anchor the stone. The largest stone is a fiberglass faux boulder to cover a water meter vault that was an eyesore. I called DiSabatino about a failing tree, which was not a problem (growing split) until the super low temperatures on a Friday at about 2 PM. I determined this tree 90 feet, was going to fall, take out the power lines and likely end up on the house. Immediately DiSabatino Landscaping reacted. Joe who leads the Tree Care Services contacted me and then met me at my house as the sun was going down. By 8 PM the same night, after bringing in the necessary equipment (the tree was too compromised to climb), the tree was reduced to a 20 ft. vertical. I most recently had landscape work performed at my residence. The consultant, Adrienne, exceeded expectations in keeping me informed and managing my expectations. The field crew were excellent in the work they performed. The crew was friendly, respectful and eager to answer any questions. I could tell they took pride in their work. My only issue occurred in scheduling the job. There was a lack of communication and coordination between the office and the Consultant which caused unnecessary delays. (See More)

We are very pleased with the recent drainage and landscape work provided by a team from DiSabatino Landscspe and Tree Service. They were polite and professional. It was obvious they are very skilled and give a lot of attention to detail. The drainage work involved burying a pipe underground almost the full length of our yard. We had a small patio repair to correct the slope for water management on a corner of the house we recently purchased. The work performed by DiSabatino was very good, the people doing the job were on time, professional and open to our suggestions/concerns. The work was finished on time and everything was cleaned out at the end of the job. The only complaint I would have is about the price tag. It was about 2 days worth of work for 2 people, almost no new materials (it was only a repair), and the price tag was >$3,500. We were aware of the cost prior to starting the job but we didn't know how long it would take and how extensive the work would be. Even though we received lower estimates from other hardscaping companies, we were pretty anxious to fix the water management problem, so we decided to go with DiSabatino and we did not question the pricing at the time. On the positive side, everyone was reliable, professional and timely in addressing any questions.The reliability and professionalism is something we don't always find when dealing with contractors, so this was definitely a positive experience overall. The 9 out of 10 stars (short of perfect) regarding likelihood of recommending the company to friends, reflects the higher price tag when compared to other quotes we received for the same job (as low as $2,200). Vince of Esposito Masonry, gave us the feeling that we are working with a experienced and visionary designer that understood our problems and concerns. He took what was a boring, heaved, narrow, unsightly tripping hazard and produced stamped concrete entrance walk with a completely different look. The walkway that was created provides a very inviting entrance to our home. During daylight hours you are able to appreciate the attention to detail with texture, color and form. At night, with light from the lamp post at our drive or from the front door you have a wide, safe, curved walkway that took into account size, scope and existing landscape that is welcoming to our guests. We bought our house three years ago for location, price, functionality and timing. It was the best decision we ever made (save for matrimony and childbirth, hope I the husband). We did not buy it for the complications our yard brought. The yard we got was 3-tiered, backing up to a county creek. The second slope, which led down to the third tier, was too steep to mow and had too much vegetation and rock embedded. The third tier itself would flood and have standing water for days after heavy rain, even with a creek 5 yards away. There were drainage issues, vegetation issues, rock issues, steepness issues, etc. We called DiSab. Inc. to get a quote on sodding all around. They sent out the pensive but crafty Brian C. who stepped back and pretty much had a "Six Million Dollar Man" moment... "We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can make it better than it ever was. Better, stronger, more beautiful!". We couldn't resist. He proposed an idea, came up with diagrams and a proposal so fine that it made Pebble Beach look like a landfill. He wasn't pushy in the slightest, and just wanted to make sure our concerns would be addressed. He also took one look at the yard of one of our neighbor's yards (I swear to Vishnu you could eat off of our neighbor's yard) and said "we can beat that." They did. Within five weeks (Brian worked around our schedule) preparations and conclusions began. Weeds and yard waste were removed. A brand new, custom river bed was introduced to take our water from the yard to the creek behind us. Sod took over what was once barren area. I contacted DiSabatino this passed winter to look into paving around our pool area. David Mull contacted me and came out to look at the area. He asked what my thoughts were and offered his opinion too. He then explained the different types of paving we could use. Later we received a proposal for about three different types of paving. We have been looking for a contractor to replace a deck with a patio for several years. From our first meeting with Dave, we knew he was creative. What we also came to realize was what a great listener he was, and how flexible as we worked together through the process of the plan. Once we had a plan, Dave walked the crew leader, Jose through it in great detail. Dave stayed involved in the process, visiting the site almost daily. The crew was fantastic. Jose was the hardest worker I've ever watched, and he was the boss! HIs skill level, and that of his team was amazing. They moved multiple-hundred pound boulders into place as if they were Lincoln logs, running machines up and down the driveway with boulders and stones. They also created a very organic, beautiful patio of irregular stones that blends beautifully with the existing landscaping. Mark was easy to talk with and guided us with suggestions we did not realize when we created our original design with another consultant. The issue was cleared up quickly but I would imagine someone else might have been more upset then I and may not have wanted to continue with their project. That would mean starting over with another landscaper and the refund of a deposit. For me we cleared it up and moved on. The crew was able to get our patio installed before our daughter's graduation party. We got lots of positive comments from our guests about the patio. When people heard that we were doing a poured patio they envisioned city sidewalk. I worked with DiSabatino for a major yard renovation, including site work for substantial drainage issues, and the removal/replace of an older slab patio replaced with field stone. Throughout the project everyone I dealt with, from the scheduler and project estimator, to the site and masonry crews, to the head of the company, was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We had other pieces of the project, like a shed and driveway replacement, handled by other companies, and DiSabatino made sure to coordinate with them to make sure the project went off without a hitch. The finished project looks amazing, and I would highly recommend the company to others. (See More)

I just happen to look on line, to look up a company to cut our tree down. I wrote down 4 companies, and DiSabatino, was the first company I looked at and was very impress. I did not get a chance to look at the other 3 companies and was glad I didn't. They were professional, polite and they did such a wonderful job. I called them the next day for another tree. From the first encounter with Adrienne to the actual logistics of scheduling and execution with Tessa and Jose, DiSabatino exceeded my expectations. The design was beautiful and modified to fit budget and my own love of gardening and wanting to do some of it myself. The 3-D drawings brought it to life and allowed my husband to envision the finished effect. The work began earlier than expected and was pretty complete (hardscaping and phase 1 of landscaping) within 2 weeks (in spite of heavy rain on two days). The landscaping crew touched up beds where old shrubs had been removed and added some stone to areas where the flow of rain would wash away mulch. They are coming back next month to finish the landscaping. Can't wait to see it all finished. (See More)

Lance is fantastic with listening t what you want and designing it. He always provides input on the type of plants that will work best for your yard. We had three very tall and larger Swamp Birch trees removed. It took about a day and a half to remove the trees and all the debris. When they left they area was cleaned and ready to plant new trees.
