We were having difficulty even getting a return call from our normal plumbers. We called Cummings and had an appointment within two hours of the phone call. The office staff could not have been friendlier. **** showed up and diagnosed our problem and had it fixed within the time frame allotted. The price was reasonable, the service was excellent and service people most courteous. We couldnt be more pleased and will definitely call Cummings with any plumbing issues in the future. (See More)

Had them come in to check out a slow faucet. While Brandon was perfectly nice, he really just listened to my description of what was happening, glanced under the sink, then said I needed to re-pipe the whole house and gave me a quote for that. Had a couple other plumbers come in for second and third opinions/bids, and they both disagreed with his diagnosis. Hired one of them, who was able to find the clogged joint near the water heater and fix it for a tenth of the quoted cost to re-pipe the house. So yeah... just do your research. (See More)

As seems to always happen, my water heater failed on a Sunday afternoon. I called Cummings and was told that someone would call on Monday. At 8 AM I got the call and was scheduled for 2 PM the same day. Later call changed the time so that the tech arrived at about 10 AM. Installation of new unit was quick and we had hot water by 1130 AM. Great service with no hassle at all. "Tens" to everyone. (See More)

Joshua Bailey is awesome, professional and knowledgeable. We had plumbers from 3 other companies out to our home to fix a leak in the master shower. Each time the problem got worse; one plumber wanted to knock holes in the wall to replace the water lines! Finally we called Cummings Plumbing and they sent Josh out. He immediately recognized that the cartridges had been installed incorrectly and knew that Phylrich parts needed to be installed a certain way. Cummings replaced our water heater that failed. I called Cummings as soon as I noticed that the water heater had failed and was causing flooding. Jake came within a 20 minutes of my call to assess the problem. Within an hour following his visit, Jason and a colleague arrived to drain and remove the existing water heater and install a new one. Everyone, from Sue, who handled our request at the office...to Jake...to Jason and his colleague, was professional and knowledgeable. Contacted Cummings to replace a recirculating hot water pump which had died. They had come out several months earlier in relation to another problem and predicted that the pump was on its last legs. Joshua Bailey came out the same day we called and replaced the pump. He was efficient and COVID 19 respectful and replaced the pump. He explained features of the pump that weren’t in the printed user guide. When hot water wasn’t coming out quickly over the next few days, he returned and made an adjustment which allowed us to have hot water without waiting. Polite, no complaining, even though he was working outside in 105 weather. And always was COVID 19 respectful. (See More)

cummings plumbing gave a quote to pump my septic tank of 525.00 Technician Manny B. gave me a quote of 650.00 I asked why so much higher then the office quote or another company he was quick to change quote to 550.00.He then said I needed a new leaching field at 9500.00 although I did'nt need one.Manny pumped the tank as we watch pointing out places he was leaving. He then put back blocks He chiped and brock, and left uneven.Some one could get hurt steping on them.I feel he was trying to con me, He works for commision and hourley pay. This was my first time experience with Cummings Plumbing. Looking to have a mini-split system installed. Dealt with Vicky in the office and John T., the service tech at my house. Vicky was professional, prompt, and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Could not have asked for a better 1st impression. John actually called me about two hours before scheduled appointment time, said he was free and offered to come by early, showed up within 10 minutes. He asked what my needs were, primary concerns such as price, brand, warranty, etc., explained the installation process, brand of equipment suggested and provided two options and price quotes. I am still waiting for my 6th and final quote, so have not yet made a decision. Quotes were in line with two of my other offers. I had a leak behind my refrigerator and dishwasher which happened on Christmas Day. I called Cummings Plumbing and scheduled an appointment for the following day. Jason arrived promptly at 8:00 am. Diagnosed the problem and replaced 1 foot of Polybutylene pipe with PEX. My house was 25 years old. He told me 1995 was the last year it was permitted before they took it off the market and banned Polybutylene pipe. My house was built in 1995, the last year it was used. I am sure the home builder would never had used the pipe, if they knew it had problems. Jason told me that even though he stopped the leak, he could not guarantee it would hold, because the rest of the pipe could break at any time. Polybutylene reacts with the chlorine in the water and makes it inflexible. The pipe that leaked was turned at a 90 degree angle. I had learned about the problems with polybutylene pipe from previous research and discussions with friends about the dangers associated with it. Jason recommended that I re-pipe my entire house. I knew he was right. He gave me a good price to re-pipe my house and I signed the contract on the spot to start work immediately. The same day that I signed the contract, Cummings Plumbing contacted Steamy Concepts to remove the drywall behind the dishwasher and refrigerator because it had become saturated with water leaking from the pipe. Steam Concepts under the supervision of Bryant removed the damaged drywall, the damaged cabinets, moved the refrigerator, dishwasher out, and proceeded to disassemble the countertop, sink, disposal, to clear the way, to run industrial fans to dry out the walls and floor. It took 3 days with 3 fans and a dehumidifier to remove the moisture from the area. Even the batting which was saturated with water was removed and disposed of, to eliminate mold from gaining a foothold in the house. The following Monday, the day after they finished, Dontoi and Ed arrived early in the morning at 9:00 am, to start work on the re-piping. It took them 3 full days, working through the holidays, with New Years eve and New Years day off, before they finished the job on Friday. They were very professional and dedicated and did an excellent job. The following Monday, the City of Tucson inspector arrived in the morning to inspect the work before the Drywall repair team arrived to patch up all the holes. The Drywall team lead by Brandon working with Mark patched up the holes within 2 days. They did an excellent job. All of this was supervised by Mike Determan at Cummings Plumbing who made sure everything was done properly. After the job was finished I had one minor problem with a loose hose which was fixed by Christopher within a few minutes. All the people at Cummings Plumbing and Steamy Concepts did an excellent job. These 2 men were the best. They took the time to explain to me in terms that I would understand what had to be done to install a tank less water heater. Since the codes for safety changed they explained to me in detail what they needed to do. (with patience) To do the job correctly some of the drywall was breached. ***** saw paint that matched in my garage and painted where needed, talk about going the extra mile. Called about a leak and Cummings came in less than 2 hours to give me an estimate. I excepted and 45 minutes later a a technician fixed it and I was very satisfied with the service that was done.I would use them again for any other plumbing job I have (See More)

We had Adan come out on first call and service was very good. Second time he returned and all was explained very clearly and helpful. The crew to start and finish the job that’s was needed very efficient. If we have any other issues with plumbing Cummings will be the first to be called. Great service and work. (See More)
