Had them come over fo an estimate for water coming up through my kitchen tile. Without checking anything he gave me a quote of $8000. I had American Leak detection come over and said I had absolutely no pipes leaking. Turns out it was a minor fix from my A/C unit. I would never recommend Cummings! (See More)

Thank you Cummings team for such professional and expert service. the first plumber company I called was crazy expensive and presented a complicated several day fix. Soooo glad someone told me to call you. From the first phone call to the last person to finish up I was impressed. Each person told me what to expect and when then followed through to the finish. Jake was super about explaining what the issue was, options to solve it and then the team of techs were terrific as well. Jake was very thorough and quick to come to our aid when water main broke. He had crew do a bypass within an hour so we had service all night. Crew then did great job installing new PEX line over next several days. Outstanding plumbing skills! They installed a sleeve for future pulls. Concrete finishing skills need work, but Jake took care of it. Overall, great service. (See More)

Cummings came out to the house within 24 hours in response to a broken pipe, Jake was efficient and friendly giving an estimate. I was relieved that Cummings immediately put temporary piping above ground to allow us to use water until permanent repair could be accomplished. (See More)

So happy Cummings Plumming people did a fantastic job on my house. From writing up the work order to the work and clean up. I was informed by my water company that I had excessive water flow coming from my home, possible leak. I needed a plumber immediately to come and see what the problem was. I'm out in a rural area, so I immediately attempted to contact a plumber in my area. I called 3 different companies for assistance. One didn't know when and if they could even come out, couldn't give me any assurance if they could even come out. Second company said see you some time today that the tech would call me in 30 minutes to schedule a time (by the way, tech never called) and the third company after explaining the urgency of my situation said, Ill call you and come out if I can possible tomorrow. I explained to each company my usage was over 30,000 gallons, normally 4,000. I assumed it would be a lot easier to call locally in my area for a plumber, I was wrong. So I called Cummings Plumbing and Heating located in Tucson that is almost 30 miles away. I was upset, frantic and out of my mind due to my situation. The customer service agent was compassionate and understanding. I didn't even have time to explain the 30,000 gallons and she was scheduling a technician ASAP. The first 2 companies didn't have any compassion or urgency to assist me.
Jake showed up like a Knight on a white horse, was very polite and respectful. Jake figured out the problem and fixed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The point of me telling my story is that Cummings is a big and well known company in Arizona. And no matter how big or successful they are. They treat every call as a priority and go out of their way. The other companies I called could careless.
So, that being said. Thank you Cummings for coming to my rescue and making me feel that I was important and a priority. (See More)

I asked for a quote for the replacement of two water heaters. ****(?) arrived on time and looked at the two sites, explaining what work would be included in the quote he would be preparing. He then quoted a price which was later confirmed by email. He was polite in every aspect of our meeting. When I was given an estimate, Jake and I discussed running the gas line through the attic and agreed to do it that way. When I got the bid there was no mention of the attic option. When I told the installer he said it had to go outside the house. I called Jake personally and he denied agreeing to run the line in the attic.
Then the electricians knew nothing about installing electrical outlets. Did it wrong twice. I feel that Jake was dishonest and the electricians were untrained. The heater installer was top notch. Knowledgeable and competent. (See More)

We have used Cummings Plumbing for several years, bringing them with us when we moved. On Dec 1st, 2017 we had them out for a clogged line. I was informed that it would cost $468 for this service. Cummings had been out before to do the same service and it was less than $200. When I questioned the high charge, I was told that they now charged a flat rate and for $468 they would unclog the line no matter how long it took. I was uncomfortable with this arrangement but agreed because I felt trapped. I was sitting in a home where everything was clogged, there was contaminated sewage in both toilets and both bathtubs. I needed to get this taken care of and to call another plumber at that time was to sit in that condition for I don't know how long. So I accepted the price. But I felt like I was being held hostage. In my opinion this is blackmail and or coercion with in most instances is a crime. The whole procedure took less than an hour, including putting a camera in the lines. I don't know what has changed at Cummings Pluming, but I feel as though they have no integrity. Being a senior citizen and on social security it is difficult enough to come up with money for unexpected events. But to be priced gouged like this is horrifying. Needless to say I will not be using Cummings in the future and will be warning my neighbors of their practices. (See More)

Cummings Plumbing, Heating & Cooling sent JT to my residence previously to install 2 new water heaters to replace two old ones that were installed in 2005. JT did an outstanding job installing both water heaters timely and professionally. Once again my third water heat that was also installed in 2005 started leaking yesterday in the garage. I called Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling again yesterday since the last time they worked at my home, their service and knowledge was impeccable. I ask if they could send JT back to my residence since he did such a great job installing the last two water heaters. He was dispatched on the date and time I requested and he showed up ready to go to work. This young man is absolutely knowledgeable. He completed the work within the time frame given and gave me some additional information on what he had observed with my piping that needed repair. The serviceman told us that our garbage disposal had a smaller motor than what it does have. When we bought the house we were informed that better than average builder grade disposals were installed. This is the first and only time we had a problem only due to my mistake of putting a carrot head in the disposal without cutting it up like I usually do. I have never had any problems and the disposal does have stainless steel blades not the cheaper blades that the service rep told us. He was trying scare tactics to sell us another disposal, and I don't like this kind of pushy tactic to get me to spend money I don't have. (See More)
