I have never had a moving experience go so well. We had received another quote that was nearly 3x times what Cowboy quoted and based on other reviews decided to use this company. I am SO happy I did, the crew was amazing. Friendly, fast, respectful, and easy to work with. Just used Cowboy moving for the second time in 12 mos for move from Denver to mountains. They are responsible, hard workers and have a great ability to solve for "the unexpected". Specifically, these guys (as well as Alan Torres) worked 11 hours to complete both jobs in one day and were very careful with the "goods" going up and down stairs. In addition, they were professional (and nice) and supportive of all my “on the fly decisions”. And the best of all was that they were much more affordable than the competition in Denver metro as well as Eagle County. I would recommend them to anyone in Colorado! (See More)

Everything was carefully packed and labeled, and no item was lost or damaged. Also, our movers were careful not to damage our former home or our new home during the move. The movers were polite and professional. I live in a tri-level home with lots of stairs and tight corners. If I could give Them a 10 STAR I would!!! These three Men....Luis M, Emelio V, and John T...were AMAZING!!! We could not of done this move with out these guys. The Minute I made contact with the office to the final box being put into storage, COWBOY Did an OUTSTANDING JOB!! There are not enough kind words to say about this organization. They told us a price and explained about extra costs, if we needed them. The pricing was fare and exactly as we expected. Luis, Emelio and John were so Fantastic,...they were funny, fun, professional and SO HARD WORKING! They didnt stop until we were all done and never complained about our two flights of stairs and tons of boxes. They did an outstanding job packing the truck and taking special care of our things. They packed our storage unit PERFECTLY. We have never been so happy with any movers. Their packing was wonderful - very caring for each and every piece. They packed antiques that were from WWII and precious collectables. Everything was done with expertise. The crew from Cowboy arrived when promised, ready to tackle our move. Emelio, Jesus and John were awesome - courteous, professional and friendly, doing extra when asked. They worked so well together and quickly loaded our furniture, going up and down several levels of stairs in the process. Unloading at the other end was just as good, the guys carried furniture to the rooms requested, and also put many pieces down in the basement for storage. Cowboy generously supplied clothes wardrobes to us - that saved us a huge amount of time - we really appreciated that extra service. I was thinking of renting a van and moving from a home in Golden to Elizabeth CO. Then my better senses came to me. We used Cowboy 30 years ago and when I called they knew they had moved us in 1990. 2020 is the move and in one day they moved a truckload that made our life so much easier in a stressful time. John T,Jesus H and Emeleo V. were as pro as it gets and had a great disposition throughout the day and by 4:30 pm we were waving good buy with a easy 3 to 4 day move done. From my first call to Cowboy Moving and Storage until the crew pulled away from our destination, I had a first-class experience. The crew was very efficient and got us loaded up in no time. Once we arrived at our destination, they unloaded and got us settled in. Jesus let me know I would need a new power cord for our clothes dryer and helped us get both the clothes washer and dryer hooked up and ready to go. Happy wife! I fault the office for not providing them with all the directions to my house (a rural location) although I was assured twice on the phone that they did have them. First time user would definitely use again and recommend to others. Called when they were on the way and brought all the supplies they needed. Made the move out of the office quick and efficient. The crew was very careful about wrapping the furniture with moving blankets and plastic as it was going in to storage and would be stacked up. They moved the furniture into storage and stacked it so it took up the lease amount of space so we could put more into storage in the future. Unfortunately, John T., Justin S. and Richard W. were scheduled to pack my things on a day that they had a monthly morning meeting and I lived 2 and one half hours away from Denver so they arrived about 3 hours late and with insufficient packing materials. These gentlemen did their best without complaint but had to leave unfinished when it was dark. They were nonetheless careful in their packing and friendly. So my only complaint was the scheduling as I could have easily waited a day to begin the process. (See More)

We are finally writing this review after three months of getting settled (phew!). I was familiar with Cowboy Moving & Storage, having driven past their location at Santa Fe and Union for the past 30 years. After looking at other moving agencies we felt comfortable that they weren’t any fly-by-night operation. We checked Cowboy out on the Department of Regulatory Agencies’ website and they’ve kept their movers’ license active for decades (always reassuring to see that one’s mover can follow the legal requirements of their business).
Now that we’re done unpacking, we can honestly say that nothing was broken in any of the boxes that Agustín Marez, Jesse Gutierrez, and John Trejo moved for us. It was really cool that we got a text in advance from the company that told us a little bit about the guys before they got to our house. It really helped us to feel comfortable having the guys into our homes. Each of these three men was an incredibly hard worker – we had a lot (a LOT) of stuff and they worked diligently and speedily. They didn’t take breaks and they didn’t slow down the whole day. They deserved each dollar of their tip and then some! It was a pleasure to see folks who can bust their backsides with a good attitude (even when we were moving from a walkup to another place without an elevator. They were a lot of fun to be around.
While the price was a bit high, the quality of these guys’ efforts and the results of their work cannot be beaten. They saved my parents from having to help their erstwhile daughter and son-in-law move yet again down a flight of stairs and back up another flight. I highly recommend John, Jesse, and Agustín for their hard work and their high-energy, positive attitudes! (See More)

They accommodated my time frame, and drove through treacherous weather and an even more treacherous mountain pass to get to my new home. We sought out 6 different moving quotes before choosing Cowboy Movers. We ended up picking Cowboy Movers because of all the good reviews we saw online and because a friend of ours recommended them. We have moved 7 times before, and even though we were pleased with ALL our past movers (we used the same company most times, but they are not in Colorado where we are now), Cowboy Movers was the best at both making sure every item in our move was protected (sometimes they even wrapped maybe too many things, some that really didn't need to be wrapped, but who's gonna complain about that, right? lol), AND when they unloaded our furniture and boxes, etc. into our new residence, they were so considerate to ask us where each box should go, and they placed them SO organized in each room, so that we did not have to rummage through a bunch of boxes that they could have easily just left in our garage.
Even though the movers ended up spending much more time on our move than their office had anticipated (apparently there were some furnishings that they found more difficult to reassemble, like bunk beds, but they got them together very well with time), the 3 movers we had were polite, and they truly worked their BUTTS off!! Stopping for very few breaks, they worked tirelessly for 2 days, even though they (and we) were under the impression that it would take only one day.
When we had questions and contacted the "main guy" Mike, he listened to us and made allowances to accommodate our particular concerns and feedback, which we of course appreciated. Given all of the above, we will certainly recommend Cowboy Movers to others....and tell 'em the deGuzman's sent you (See More)

John had phoned to tell me he was on his way and that with 3 of them the move would go very quickly. I was still surprised when the move was done in under 2 and 1/2 hours! As we all know, moving stinks! However, John and Solomon did an AMAZING job moving me. They both worked hard and moved some very heavy items. They had a great attitude and work ethic!!! I rented two storage units for the excess. John told me he could get everything into one unit, "if it's packed correctly." I didn't believe him! The Cowboy team was on time, efficient, courteous and friendly. We had some large pieces to move and they were challenged by this - it resulted in some minor damage to the apartment we were moving from (walls, stairwell ceiling). Also, technical/mechanical skills were a bit lacking. We had a large trundle bed that needed to be disassembled, then reassembled at the new home, and this was time-consuming for the team - it took more time than what would be considered reasonable. The tool set the team had was also not lacking for the work, which added to the delay. Overall, I would say we are satisfied, but I would say Cowboy is better suited to more simple, straight-forward moves. (See More)

These men were ultimately the best. They moved large dressers, good furniture, and fine antiques without a scratch. We downsized from a house to a townhouse with two flights of stairs.
