The crews at Cowboy Moving were great for both ends of my move! They helped me move out of a second story townhome into a new home with a one week load and hold storage in between. They were professional, quick, and kind in the process. I felt that all of my belongings were safe, secure, and well handled. They were also easy to communicate with in the process. Excellelnt job moving a very heavy fire proof locking file cabinet. Safe, efficent, professional, but at the same time they were communicative and paid attention to details to avoid damaging wood floors, concrete steps, and door frames. I move similar objects working with a charity. However, I needed an intellegent crew for safety and to avoid damage to an older home and a historic 100-year-old office building. They knew what was needed, planned ahead, and did not waste any time. Using a professional crew that had worked together saved more than money. (See More)

They also anticipated potential problems ahead of time, and avoided significant damage which might have occurred had they not thoroughly checked out the situation ahead of time. The guys were on time and packed up our 7,000. Sq ft home in less than 5 hours. They were all jovial yet professional and made our move way less stressful. We actually had fun doing this move with these guys. They had plenty of blankets and were super careful packing furniture, art, etc. Since our furnishings were going 2 different places-some to storage and the remainder to our new home, they were great about asking questions as to where each piece went. Our whole move was done in 8 1/2 hours and we had no mistakes with where our items ended up. I would not hesitate to call Cowboy Moving again for our next move. Like many I was going to use a POD for this move but finding movers on my own or using theirs was very expensive. I needed a move with storage capabilities to hold my items till my new place was ready. I found cowboy and was pleasantly surprised at their straightforward rates, which were very reasonable. My rep at cowboy was great and made it easy to make requests for changes to my move. Moving day was great, everything was on time and the crew did a wonderful job. We liked the friendly and professional manner that the Cowboy Moving and Storage Team greeted us and handled all the heavy lifting and loading that was required for our moving project. They moved a very heavy old safe for us from our previous home and moved it into our basement down a set of stairs that offered very little room to maneuver. The stairs have a landing half way down and then the stairs turn and continue down. There was no room for error and the Cowboy team really shined and got the job done without any damage to person or property. They followed all safety precautions with the safe and all our other possession's and we didn't suffer any damage to anything. "Great Job" by a "Great Team". A job well done. We were so impressed with the great job Forrest and his crew did in moving us out of our home that we requested them again. Immediately upon arrival at our new home, Emilio and Pedro put down protective covering over all surfaces. Although we moved into a one story ranch, we had many pieces of furniture and over 100 boxes that had to go into the basement. The crew didn’t rest until everything was on the correct floor. Jorge’s meticulous truck-packing made the unpacking go all the more smoothly. Toward the end of the move, Derek was quick to place and assemble our beds so we could sleep in our new home that night. Forrest led a great crew with Derek and Jesse M. They busted it out to move my basement to a pod, on behalf of DR Horton. They were on time, jumped out of the truck, shook hands, went over the plan and got to it! These guys clearly had worked together before and had a good team dynamic, feeding off each other, and kept it moving (so to speak!). I enjoyed their professionalism, as well as their friendliness and humor. It's nice to have a laugh when moving is stressful, and these guys put you at ease. Great job organizing the sequence, packing (I can't believe they got it all in!), and being willing to take on any task. I'm really impressed, and though I have not use this company before, I will in the future. They have the true cowboy ethic of the old west. I still can't tell you which one is the brains, is the best looking or strongest - but the jury is out! Great team of Keith, Darrin and Derik. This was the move in after storage of our furniture. They arrived at 8:45 am and completed the job and drove at 4:30 pm. For three movers they were quick, professional and polite. We had two broken glass shelves. They took them back and we had them replaced within a few days. There were some dolly tracks on carpet and they sent someone out and took care of that as well. John and Derek did a fantastic job of moving my 450# gun safe and piano from my house to my storage unit (a storage unit not affiliated with CM&S). They went through great lengths to protect my floors and walls. And quickly pointed out the couple of scratches they made on the unfinished basement stairs (which would never have been noticed if they didn't point them out) getting the safe out of there. The piano is an heirloom from my grandmother, and they took great care to protect it during the move. Also, when we got to the storage unit, they moved the items already in there to make everything fit just right. I highly recommend Cowboy Moving and both Josh and Derek, and Maricruz in the office.
