AC went out on the hottest day of the year - July 2017 - Ed and his people came out and had us back in service for the next day, also a scorcher. Ed's team of Ada and Gary replaced the out side unit and subsequently the expansion valve in the attiic air handler. Excellent work at a fair price - no worries about price gouging here! My air conditioning unit died and without hesitation, Mr. Conn came out on the same day as I called to give me an estimate. Because the unit, the furnace, and hot water heater were 17 years old, he gave me an estimate for all three items. His estimate was acceptable to me. I had received other estimates for the same work and his price came out as middle of the range. He was honest with me as to what needed to be done and understood the importance that the job needed to be completed ASAP due to the heat wave we were enduring. He had his workers come out the next day to install the new air conditioning unit, furnace, and water heater. The men worked hard throughout the day and cleaned up afterwards. I highly recommend Conn. Ed Conn and his staff were excellent in helping me get my air condition and heating system replaced and helping with the financing me at an affordable monthly payment. After installation Ed Conn personally stop by later that evening to make sure that I was happy and to go over the system with me. The day of installation my neighbors mom happen to be over and she wanted to know who I got to install my system she stated that the installer guys were very neat, professional and very friendly. Her air conditioner also was broke. I introduced her to Ed Conn that evening and 5 days later she was having Ed Conn install her unit. Thank you everyone at Conn. I came home from work and was without air conditioning. The temperature outside was 96. The temperature inside my house was 85. I called Ed. He came out within a couple hours and fixed the problem. I spoke with Ed Conn personally on a Saturday morning. I spent about 10 or 15 minutes on the phone with him discussing my central air. Not only did we set up a plan of action, I could tell that he is straight up. Not a salesman type just trying to sale you, or a weekend manager pushing you off till next week. Don't get me wrong, he wants your business. But he earned mine by being real. I thought that I was talking to a good friend rather than a new contractor. Kait took over and comfirm ordered and install. Called with a heads up to let me know that the guys were on their way. Eddie and Rocco arrived on time, and did a great job. They were professional, clean, and steady. Before I knew it, the old was out and on the truck ( no trash in the street ), nice. The install was a pleasure. Your people were great. My experience with Conn started off great when I called the office and spoke with Stephanie. She was very professional and knew exactly what I was talking about and had a technician to my door the same day within a couple hours. The technician arrived (Adam) his appearance was neat and he introduced himself in a professional manor. I led him to my AC unit and about twenty minutes in he already had it diagnosed. My Rinnai tankless water heater suddenly stopped working. I contacted Conn Mechanical Systems because they are authorized to service this specific water heater. Ed responded and provided an excellent service. He diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired it. His services were very professional and his work was very neat and clean. I am very impressed and satisfied with the total performance that i received from the Conn Mechanical Team. From my initial phone call to the office, i knew that i would select this company to perform my work. I recently purchase a property in New Jersey and was unfamiliar with any of the local contractors when i began my search for new Heating and Air Conditioning systems. I called the Conn Office i was immediately impressed with the pleasant and helpful assistance that i received. I stopped my search right then, and selected Conn as the contractor of choice, even before i received any price quotes. In my architectural profession, i have plenty of experience with contractors of all trades. I could tell you that good quality and attentive customer service is evident throughout the Conn Mechanical Company. I must also commend the patience of Ed Conn as i requested numerous alternate options for my system. Last fall Conn Mechanical installed a new geothermal unit in our home. Not only does the heat and air conditioning work beautifully, but I feel that we have met our service person for life. The unit is more high tech than what we had before, so when we had a question, not only could Ed Conn check what was going on via the internet, but also came immediately when we needed a little training. I Have lived in my house since 2011. The heat and air is geothermal and has 2 units. Conn mechanical has saved me a ton of money by finding a leak on a coil and repairing it. I also had gas lines installed in my home. I did the typical thing and got 3 estimates. Ed conn came in around the other prices so I picked them as I have used them in the past. When your ac or heat is not working on a sunday at 400 conn mechanical will come out and get you running asap if possible. If you want someone that is fair, and highly skilled without the BS call conn. I just had them fix a faulty valve on a sunday afternoon. They responded within 45 min with a phone call. I had them out the following Monday to install 2 new digital thermostats also. I trust conn as they have proven to me to be fair and capable to do any of my emergency work.
