I had left a review some weeks ago about a disappointing failed HVAC installation, but the whole Beck-Cohen team came through and fixed that. They were very careful and planned as needed, and installed a new minisplit HVAC in each of two locations in our home, and they are working great. Thanks so much to Brian and the whole team. They got out to our home in a timely fashion and performed a very professional job leaving a very clean work space. To whom it may concern I would advise not working with this company. For one poor communication skills/ and unsightly bad temper from HVAC manager. Dodges questions that concerns anything related toward the job. On top of that good luck getting a raise it’s never going to happen unless your a favorite in his eyes. My neighbors had Beck Cohen doing work on a pipe under their patio. My patio is adjacent to this patio. I left to go to the store and when I returned their trucks were gone. When I entered my patio, there had been damage to my downspout connected to my gutter. Someone had step on it, bent it, and disconnected it. I can only assume that after I left, they came on my patio for some reason while they worked on my neighbor's pipe. They were the only ones around that day. The least I would ask is that they would own up to damaging my property. I will never use their services. (See More)

When both of our hvac units needed to be replaced, we sought out quotes from every company in the Charlottesville area. We felt that Beck Cohen was the most qualified, professional, knowledgeable, honest company with competitive prices. Brian, the sales representative, did not try to upsell us, where other companies did. He is well versed in hvac units, and his experience allowed him to be confident in assessing the exact needs for a house of ours size. He followed up with a proposal within a couple of days, and was always friendly and personable, and was responsive to our questions and concerns. The teams that replaced the units were fantastic! They were professional, and respectful of keeping my house neat and clean during the muddy aftermath of a snow storm. They were friendly and finished both jobs quickly, yet thoroughly. We are very pleased with Beck Cohen HVAC heat pump installation. The two installers, John and Cary, were very professional. They started before 8:00 a.m. and completed it around 3:00 p.m. We barely knew they were there other than some clanging as the were hammering in the return.
Then they showed us how to use the thermostat and answered any questions we may have had. Overall, they were very efficient and friendly. The new HVAC unit is working quite well, too. It was a positive experience and we would recommend them to others, for sure. (See More)

When it came to replacing my HVAC system, I solicited a number of bids from local companies. Beck Cohen presented themselves in a manner that was more professional and thorough and any of the others. All of my questions (and there were many) were answered patiently and completely. The proposal was thorough and included a range of choices to suit my needs and economic necessities. Ultimately, I chose that package that worked best for me and it is the perfect choice. I love my new system.
As for the installation, the work began and finished on time by gentlemen that were the epitome of professionalism. There was nothing lacking in the process and they went beyond the pale when it came to leaving the work spaces in better condition than they found them. By far my best experience ever when it comes to having workers in the house.
I am certainly not accustomed to writing reviews and only made the choice because my experience was so far above and beyond what I expected. My system is exactly what I have always wanted. Thanks Lennox and Beck Cohen. (See More)

Over the past 14 months we have completed a planned replacement of both of our 20 year old HVAC units, with Lennox equipment. The pre-purchase assistance, installation and follow-up from Beck-Cohen has simply been great! Of course, we expected no less because we have been a Beck-Cohen customer for 30+ years and have stayed with them because of the excellence in service and support that they have provided.
