I can’t say enough about my experience with Atomic and Sean! I had sewer pipes leak in my crawlspace that had to be redone. Sean was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I had gotten multiple estimates, but felt that he was the most thorough. Sean and Eric did an excellent job and were always on time and hard at work! The coordination between him and scheduling was very accommodating, and they worked with me to get the job done before my out of town guests came to stay with me. We called Atomic as our landlords were taking a bit to have a quote sent to us for our slow kitchen drain. Atomic quoted someone to come out between 12-5 the dame day we called. We got a call back letting us know a tech was on their way and Sean D. showed up. Sean was super nice and friendly upon arrival and the entire time he worked on our sink. He asked what happened so far and was not frustrated that I wasn't able to provide him with details as my significant other hadn't filled me in on what had happened with the sink. So, Sean took time to see what was going on so he could work on it.
While Sean was here, I learned a lot about all the ways that people come and fix things. I appreciated being told what the possibilities were for how things could get fixed if there was a worst case scenario and how he would handle it. All in all, Sean's customer service skills are top notch and if we have another issue, I hope everyone at Atomic is the same if we don't get him again. He let us know that the drain issue is common because of the exit plug on the outside of the house and that was good knowledge to have in general.
Out service with Sean was quick, informative, but he definitely paid attention to detail and now our kitchen sink drain is working as it should. Very happy customers! (See More)

Sean and Paul were competent and organized professionals that completed the job on schedule and left the premises immaculate. My wife and I could not have asked for anything better. We hired Atomic Plumbing because of their positive reviews and we know now how they earned them. Sean x and Zach were the most professional and knowledgable plumbing technicians we have ever met. They researched the aging plumbing and gas lines in our crawlspace, took photos and explained to us how they would remedy the situation. They created a proposal with associated costs on the spot and arranged a date to come back and do the repairs. We really appreciated having the same guys who saw the problems actually come back to fix them, leaving no room for communication errors between diagnosis and remedy. I had a new toilet installed by a certified plumber but it wasn't right then paid a second plumber to fix it and it wasn't right then paid another plumber $500.00 to fix it and it wasn't right. Monday night the neighbors smelled gas coming from outside of our house. Called Virginia Natural Gas and they found the leak and red tagged the meter. I started looking for recommendations for somebody to come fix the leak. Atomic Plumbing was highly recommended by my brother-in-law. The next morning, Sean Dyer and his help Paul came to the rescue. Sean was very thorough and honest! He remained professional and friendly. He and his helper did awesome work and made sure that I knew every step they were taking to get my gas leaked fixed. They had to run new galvanized piping on the outside, and pressure test everything twice because the city was not satisfied. Everything finally passed. They also fixed the vent to our hot water heater because it was unsafe. Sean was very personable, went over all the pricing before doing any work, shared all options and potential problems. I cannot say enough about Sean and his co-worker, Paul. Just two days before Christmas, plumbing on my 2nd floor backed up in my brand new house. Then a leak started from the kitchen ceiling. This resulted in water damage and need for restoration services. Sean referred us to another amazing team. Our water heater busted on Saturday. Sean came right out and was very informative and helpful. He explained that they would need to secure our type of water heater and once successful he would be out first thing Sunday morning to install it. He was here first thing at 7:30 AM with a smile on his face and removed the old water heater and installed the new one in no time. Sean is very knowledgeable and personable. I've used Atomic Plumbing for several years now. Most recently this week. I had a leaking main supply line under my driveway which was a laborious repair that required cutting my concrete driveway and digging down several feet to access the leak. My technician, Sean and his partner, Paul did an AWESOME job. They arrived on time, gave me a fair quote for the work, and began the repair process immediately. They were incredibly friendly and kept me abreast of the situation every step of the way.
Like my previous experiences with Atomic, this one was professional and the final bill was slightly less than what they quoted me thanks to Atomic's military and veteran discount.

We were given an appointment date that was convenient for us and requested **** ** since he had taken of our plumbing issue the last time. I am so thankful for Sean D at Atomic Plumbing! He is an excellent plumber! I normally don't write reviews, but this was definitely worth sharing. My husband and I closed on our home and moved in on March 4th. We had not been living here not even a full month when our toilet started making a funny "gurgling" sound. Immediately, I was concerned, you know being a first-time homebuyer and all. So my husband contacted our home warranty carrier to see if plumbing was a covered service under the policy. It was and so we contacted Budget Plumbing to make a service call. What a mistake that was! First, he was here a total of about 10-15 minutes and charged us $95 to tell us that we had "no clean out" and estimated the cost at $2000.00 to $2500.00 to make a new "clean out." He told us that we would be contacted by our home warranty witihin 24 hrs. Secondly, he seemed annoyed to be at our house, almost as if it were an inconvenience to him. Lastly, he was rude and unpleasant. Right after he left, my husband received a call from a rep stating that our claim was denied and we were stuck with no resolution. After about a week of non-working toilets and having to shower in a slow draining bathtub, we couldn't take it anymore. We asked around to see if anyone knew of any good plumbers. Atomic Plumbing came highly recommended by my husband's co-worker. Needless to say, we called to schedule a service call and not only were they able to see us the SAME DAY but the cost was way more affordable and the customer service was oustanding! Sean D was professional, personable and polite. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions clearly and in a way that I was able to understand. Both the technicians were courteous and very knowledgeable. Sean and Zach helped me today. We had some old pipes that due to stress on the joints and age had come apart. They both did plenty of research to find the issue, went over the costs with me and recommendations. Once we agreed on the fix they went to work and knocked it out. The shower/tub now drains perfectly, I dont have to worry about the pipes being an issue in the future and they cleaned up their mess and recommend a good dry wall tech to fix the very small cut they had to make. This was my first time using Atomic Plumbing but I wont use anyone else again. I had 2 other companies look at this issue over the last year, only Atomic Plumbing took the time to use a camera and fully test and find the problem so it could be corrected.

Our water heater in the attic was leaking a little and corroding. I was afraid it would go at anytime. I called Atomic to get a quote and Sean D. was dispatched to my house within 3hrs. He was very pleasant and professional. Analyzed our problem and gave us options for a new water heater. My husband wanted a larger pan for emergency leaks and Sean located one already built in their shop. After we accepted their quote he returned the next day with Tim and installed the new system in a difficult area with a much safer and efficient heater. Great prompt service. I sent an email inquiring about products and services to several plumbing companies. My water heater broke and was leaking. I received a call within a few minutes. Atomic was able to inspect and repair in the same day while other companies couldn't inspect the damage for another day or two.
Sean (plumber tech) came out for service. He called before arrival, inspected the heater, described the needed service, and offered recommendations. There was no haggling or product promotion. He provided options, and we decided the option that suited our needs. A few hours later, service was complete. The work area was tidy. No left over mess, couldn't tell that a person was there.

Our tankless water heater bit the dust. I just thought, "Hey it's pretty warm outside. The street water coming into the house is still like 70 degrees. Maybe the problem will fix itself." After about 4 days, my beautiful 8 month pregnant wife did not agree with my thought process and cold showers! So I called up Atomic and they came out quickly. Shot mother board. They called with regular courtesy calls to let us know when their on-call plumber could make it, and when he arrived, our technician (Sean ** was friendly, well-spoken and knowledgeable. I called Atomic on Easter morning when finding my water heater was leaking. I spoke with the answering service who contacted a technician who called me back 10 minutes later. After looking up our account, he said that Sean would be there within the hour. Sean arrived promptly and assessed the situation saying another water heater would need to be installed. He then called another serviceman to pick up the heater from the shop while Sean began to drain the tank and prepare for the new heater. Since the newer heater is more energy efficient, the piping needed to be entirely replaced. All throughout the process, Sean let me know what was happening every step of the way. I don't believe I've encountered a more courteous, helpful, friendlier, and nicer service technician than Sean. He made sure to have on shoe covers which was helpful on a rainy day. Jimmy came out for a service call on Sunday evening for the pilot light not working on my hot water heater. He checked over the water heater thoroughly and changed out a part. That did not fix the problem we were having. He then discussed with my wife and I all the options we had. From replacing the part which he believes would fix the issue we were having to replacing the 13 year old equipment. He also discussed a tank less water heater as an option. What my wife and I liked most about Jimmy was that we trusted him and he was not trying to hard sell us. When we voiced our concern about his price on the new heater he suggested we call your competitors to see what they charged. We did and you are a little higher but we really trusted Jimmy. We replaced our 50 gallon hot water heater in the attic with a new tank less water heater and relocated it to the garage. This was not an ordinary water heater replacement because it required running new water lines from the attic to the garage and also running a new gas line to the tank less unit, Once it was determined where the lines could be run, Brad and his helpers, Aron and Brian, got right to work. The process took 2 visits due to having the new gas line inspected by the city before connecting it to the new unit. I would like to personally thank Brad, he was an absolute professional. All of the new pipes and lines were installed in a professional manner, the whole job looks professional, and everything was cleaned up before they left. I feel confident the job was done right. Great service from everyone who helped at this company.
Called in Saturday morning to get a quote for water heater replacement. Unit is in our attic and two companies had come out to try and repair the unit without being successful. Warranty company wanted a third opinion and quote to replace unit.
Tiffany informed me that due to the freezing temperatures, there was unfortunately a waiting list to get a technician out. She followed up with me several times throughout the day to update me on where I was on the list of emergency calls. Was unable to get an appointment for Saturday, but only because when she called me, we had already made plans for that afternoon. She told me we could be booked as the first stop for Sunday.
Sunday, Sean arrived at my door and was very professional and listened to me explain the situation with the warranty company. He did a thorough inspection of the attic and paid attention to all details, which the other two plumbers who came out did not. He mentioned moving the gas line because of the way it was set up, and also recommended removing the quest piping that connected the water heater and heating unit. I told him I wanted a quote for that as well. Sean wrote up the quotes for the replacement of the water heater and was over $1,000 cheaper than the previous company's quote.
Unfortunately, because the warranty company was being a pain, they needed a breakdown of every aspect of the contract. I called back to the office and spoke with Tiffany again. She informed me that she would get a manager to work on that first thing Monday morning and would give me a call as soon as she got that information. Monday morning she called me with the updated information and I was able to get that to the warranty company and install was scheduled for Tuesday morning.
I was given a call from the office Tuesday morning and informed that Sean and two other employees were on their way to my house.
Sean and Justin arrived a short time later and the project was started. Sean, Justin and Paul removed the water heater from the attic and put the new unit in the attic. There were some modifications that needed to be made and they did those, without an extra charge! It ended up being an all day job, but no corners were cut. I was VERY pleased with the service I received from the 4 employees. Atomic Plumbing and Drain Cleaning will receive any and all future business from me and I will HIGHLY recommend them to anyone else who has plumbing problems. I was given this company's name by a good friend. She had used them a few times and really liked their efficiency and pricing policy. I had some frozen pipes with the latest cold weather fronts and needed a good company that was efficient and didn't gauge you when you were in no position to wait. I called the company and the schedulers were very thorough with their questions about my situation. They let me know that their technicians were heavily booked but could still help me. Sean D saved the day last week!! My husband called Atomic after another company failed to take care of our problem. When Sean arrived he was courteous and took the time to listen to what I had to say. He was able to take care of the blockage that was causing my kitchen sink to back up whenever we ran a shower. When my water heater died, I braced myself for a long slog...direct vent heaters are expensive and gas makes it even more of a challenge. Making the appointment was easy and the office staff was helpful.

I called after hours to get a mainline clog removed, from the time I called to get service until the technician left was nothing but professional. Several thing about the company made them stand out, the first was calling to let you know that you were next as soon as a tech became available and the again when he was on his way. They also emailed the techs picture so you knew who was coming. The tech Sean D was very professional, gave me the option of providing the item to be replaced or have the company provide it. A lot of companies will only install what they sell. The installation was very professional. Would I use them again the answer would be yes, and I would try to get Sean as my tech. (See More)
