Very professional and willing to answer any questions I had. Don’t be fooled, there are so many companies that will come out for a quick $100 but what you will get is a half hour of mediocre quality at best. Amistee took several hours, great quality work! Would definitely recommend. (See More)

I can's say enough great things about Amistee! I worked with Josh R, the insulation manager and he was incredibly thorough during his inspection of our attic to give an estimate. Out of 3 companies giving estimates, only Josh actually climbed up into our attic and walked around. He noticed missing insulation for certain areas and a disconnected vent which others had not noticed. He also spent time looking at our air ducts with me (Amistee also does duct work) and trying to trouble shoot our heating issue. He made a recommendation for a fix that no other company had recommended and it worked well (we used Steve Sprague as our duct sealing specialist). They were able to get out to do the work quickly and were very flexible. The team including Greg M, Michael J, Matt, and Christian W all came out and were professional and efficient. I had many questions for them and they answered them all. Would absolutely recommend these guys for insulation. (See More)

This was the first time I ever had the air ducts cleaned in the 40 years I lived at my house. I was a bit apprehensive of what to expect but Barry and Josh put my mind at ease. Barry explained the whole procedure step-by-step. The fellows did an excellent job. I saw the before and after pictures. What a difference! Thanks to Barry and Josh for making this a great experience! I will definitely use Amistee again. And I would recommend Amistee to anyone I know looking for air duct cleaning. (See More)

Josh and George were very professional, explained everything to me and even showed me a few tips and tricks for various air duct maintenance around the house. They were extremely educational and I learned a lot just by having them come into my home. Very friendly/polite, clean-cut guys (Josh and Colin) who explained everything and rolled out runners to protect the carpet. They also wore boot covers, which hardly anyone does. They spent several hours cleaning and showed me the difference. Our system seems to be much more efficient. (See More)

This company is amazing! I will recommend them to all of my friends. The air in my condo is so much cleaner and my allergies are almost all gone! My Dad was at my home and so I never met the guys who completed the job but he reported that they were clean, efficient and polite. I can tell the difference in my home and they truly did their job well. I am very impressed. Also, something happened to my furnace blower the day they were here. They immediately sent out a Heating and Cooling specialist and paid for the repairs and the visit! I cannot believe how fantastic Amistee is! Companies like this one are rare nowadays! Amistee Air Duct Cleaning did an excellent job on our system and they could not have been more user friendly. They left no mess, showed care and concern while moving any furniture that got in their way, and were in and out of the house in a little over an hour and a half. Josh and Brad were our cleaning specialists and not only would I use them again, but I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a cleaner house. They explained everything to me and even made recommendation for my family and I once I told them that we have lots of allergy issues. I called & spoke to Heather to schedule a cleaning for the next day, she was very helpful on the phone. Josh called to let me know they were stuck in traffic & arrived when he said they would. Josh & Austin carried in their equipment after covering my floors. They explained what they were going to do & showed me the before pictures. I was amazed with the crap they removed from my ducts. When I spoke to Heather to set up a cleaning for the "Next Day" she was more than Helpful! Josh called telling me he was stuck in traffic & arrived when he said he would. Josh & Austin brought in their equipment after covering our floors. They let me know what they were going to do & started the "Cleaning." I was amazed at how much crap came out of our ducts. Josh showed me the before pictures continued their work & in a mere short 2 hours they were packing up & leaving. Before leaving they showed me the after pictures. I had Josh and Jeff out to clean my furnace and air vents. They did an excellent job with the cleaning. They had to go down into the crawl space to access some of the vents, and did so with zero complaining. That is almost unheard of! Very professional, very clean and respectful to my home, floors and walls. I will positively use Amistee again the next time I need to have this service. Jake and Josh did an awesome job...from the time they entered our home they were very professional. They covered their shoes as well as protected all corners with foam blocks and covered floors were they laid the equipment. It took 2 1/2 to 3 hours from the time they arrived until they left. They blew all the heat ducts and return vents and vacuumed out all the ducts. I purchased a new filter to go in after the vents were cleaned and they also installed the new one and disposed the old filter. We are very pleased with the service we received from Amistee and will have them back in another 4 years. We will highly recommend this business. Thanks for doing such a great job guys. (See More)

From making my appointment to receiving the service, every Amistee employee was great! Josh & Tyler were the guys that came out to my house, and they were awesome! They took pictures of everything before and after and the results were easy to see. They even changed my furnace filter and showed me a spot in my basement that had some asbestos in it. My concern is with the procedure of the company....let me explain....I decided to have my ducts cleaned because my son just got an infection and is in the hospital....to be safe I thought it might be helpful to have my ducts cleaned, however, how do I really know it my ducts need cleaning or not? The first thing that should be determined is whether or not it is recommended that the cleaning takes place in the first place. In my case, although my ducts had never been cleaned, they were not very dirty. The guys shot a picture of my main supply and return ducts and their was a thin layer of dust on them. I asked them how much I would be charged at this point if I decided to cancel and they estimated $90. To be safe, I decided to go ahead with the cleaning and sanitizing, but I think the customer should be told up front that an inspection and recommendation will be made before the duct cleaning proceeds..... I first learned about Amistee Air Duct Cleaning while at a Home Show in Pontiac MI. Heather was the rep there explaining the process they go through to clean your entire air ducting system. She intelligently answered all our questions. The videos and display of all the different findings they have pulled out was amazing! I called for my appointment and she was very nice and easy to work with! She found an opening within a week of the call (as I was not in a huge rush). After scheduling the appointment I received a call the day before to make sure everything was still a go. Then received another call for an update letting me know 30 minutes before the gentlemen were to arrive, Very professional in my opinion and right on time! Dan and Josh showed up and were very nice and professional. They explained to me what they were going to do then got right to work. They didn't mind me walking around with them as they were doing their work as I was very curious on how everything worked. They kept updating me and showing me pictures (before and after) as they went through the system so I knew they were getting everything cleaned out! I had some stucco from the previous owners on the air ducts that kept falling off (which I didn't mind since I am planning on removing it later anyways) but Josh was nice enough to sweep it up. Once done vacuuming everything out, they performed the Sanatization which will hopefully get rid of the old cat smell and cleaned up. They brought their own garbage bags too! Took all their trash with them and left my house as clean as it was when they go there. They definitely went the extra mile when they noticed that there was some rust in one of the ducts and when they shook it clean it backed down into the air conditioning collection area. They verified it was ok to make another hole in order to clean that up and then it was good as new. They patched everything nicely and a job well done in my book! Thank you Amistee for creating a great solution and a professional team to get this work done! So many frauds out there and Amistee is NOT one of them! We recently purchased a home with a less than desirable smell. The ducts had never been cleaned in the 20 year old house & we could tell. Josh & Melvin arrived on time & prepared to take on our 3000 sq ft home. They didn't waste anytime & provided us with a detailed overview of their work. The guys were respectful of our newly renovated home; paying close attention to care for the refinished wood floors & newly painted walls. Rick and Josh were really courteous and I believe did a really good job cleaning. The one big thing that could have caused a major problem was that they didn't clean up good after they were finished. I still had a bunch of little metal scraps from the duct holds they drilled out and dust balls all around my furnace. If I hadn't noticed and didn't thoroughly vacuum up the scrap metals, my kids and their friends would have gotten their little feet cut up from playing in the basement. So one Hugh suggestion would be to make sure your guys take a vacuum and clean up ALL the mess! A broom and dust pan will NOT do the job. (See More)

My experience with Amistee staff was great -- from setting up the appointment, to the reminder call, to letting me know they were on their way, to the actual cleaning process. When Heather called this morning to let me know the guys were on their way, she was very kind and thorough. Chad and Josh reviewed the process before they got started. Never having the ducts cleaned before, several times I went downstairs to observe. The guys were very knowledgeable in explaining the cleaning process, and patient with all my questions. Both Josh and Chad were very professional and a joy to have in my house. I'm glad I spent the money to have the ducts and dryer vent cleaned. I can't tell you how refreshing it is to deal with a company that listens to and acts on your request without having to repeat or explain it to every person you talk to. I requested a phone call when the truck was near because I might not hear them at the door. They called as they were coming up the driveway!I know it's a pain, but it didn't matter to them. Josh and Rick showed up exactly on time and explained the process of cleaning our air ducts. Once they were at work they competently finished the job. They showed us photos early of the main dirty ducts and later showed us other dirt blown from the upstairs to the main ducts and then the cleaned spaces. Josh and Jim S were my service technicians today. I was given a two-hour window for their arrival, and advised the techs would call on their way. I received the call, and they arrived exactly on time. The men showed up and introduced themselves. They were professional, extremely courteous, efficient, and very polite. They used shoe covers, were respectful of my home, and completed the job in less than the estimated time. They kept me informed of what was going on, and made sure I was satisfied before they left. I would HIGHLY recommend Amistee for this critical job. I was appalled at the amount of lint and build-up in my (unusually) long duct from the dryer to the exterior vent. Josh and Jake were very professional and completed my Dryer Vent cleaning in under 45 minutes. Given the fact that it had been several years since it was last cleaned and the run is over 20 ft long with two 90 degree angles, I d say that is impressive. Friendly, efficient, and through. The crew Josh & Mike used shoe covers, vented the diesel exhaust away from the house and were careful of my belongings & furnishings. Recorded images before & after of each duct pipe and main trunk line. The Office telephoned me 30 minutes before arrival and the technicians arrived within couple of minutes of the time given. I was skeptical of the process until I heard the debris passing through the vacuum hose. The before and after images are convincing. I like then fact this is a company Michigan residents should support with ownership from Michigan. Godd job providing the service advertised. (See More)

They were very prompt and courteous and they also wore booties on their feet in my home when the came for my appointment. They also took the time to explain all the maintenance steps that they were going to perform so as to advise me on what actions I would need to take to keep my ducts in a good and safe operating condition.
