I was very pleased with Amistee! Greg M and Dallas C were my technicians. Through a very long and tedious insurance job after a tree hit my house, removing blown in insulation and replacing it with new was one of the last steps in an almost 90 day process. I am happy that my insurance company partnered with Amistee!
They treated my home like it was their own taking all of the necessary precautions for Covid-19 and also keeping my house clean before, during and after the job. (See More)

I called Amistee because of their good ratings here on yelp. I'm glad I did. Very professional company. Alex B, Cam I and Greg S worked very hard today. They walked me through the entire process, they put Footes on their shoes (big brownie points with the wife), laid tarps down, we're very careful to protect the walls. Did both furnaces, all the vents and including my dryer vent. They even fixed the blinking light on my humidifier! Did not even tell me they did so. All three were very very nice and professional. They cleaned up so well after I would not even know they were here. I would highly recommend them. (See More)

I had a R&R of insulation done last week. Greg M. & Christian were the workers, and workers they were. Busted ass 2 days in a row to get job done, I do believe these guys need a pay raise, if I were there employer I wouldn’t want to lose these two. Started with Rick who came by, crawled in my attic provided a fair quote to remove old/raccoon lived in insulation, spray Benefact and then replace the attic with new insulation. I contacted Amistee based solely on their superlative reviews; I initially contacted them for air-duct cleaning, and segued into insulation as we had planned to refresh our older insulation; in fact had been pricing out cellulose insulation, and we received and excellent price quote from Amistee- so we went with this first. Amistee arrived earlier than scheduled time, no issue! Better early than late; in a nice clean truck, with two excellent technicians, Greg & Antoine- they put booties over their shoes before entering our home, determined the best way to run the cellulose hose line into our home (avoiding our hardwood floors)- were professional, efficient, clean, polite & courteous. While they were here, Greg also showed my wife & I precisely what was entailed for air-duct cleaning. We will use Amistee again, and would certainly recommend them to others. Great Work- (See More)

My experience with George and Greg was very positive. They arrived on time (even a little early), explained the air duct cleaning process, were flexible with our situation and were obviously very knowledgeable. They were professional and left the house in the condition they found it except with much cleaner air ducts and dryer venting. I was impressed with the thorough cleaning and the difference between the before and after photos. When I started to research air duct cleaning services, I was puzzled by the difference between the $100 jobs and the $500 jobs. I now understand that I got what I paid for. Jacob and Greg performed a duct sealing job at my home in Livonia. They were periodically supervised by Steve. Steve gave me a good price for my colonial. They were able to reduce the leakage in my HVAC ducts using the proprietary Aeroseal process. The 83% reduction in the leakage will help me reduce the size of the HVAC systems I intend to install in May and which will also qualify me for a $200 rebate from CMS Energy. Barry was extremely thorough. During his first visit to our home, he found a trouble spot that would prevent him from doing the cleaning as thoroughly as he likes. He suggested an access panel be placed descreetly in our ceiling. He suggested we have new filters ready to replace the old once he cleaned the ducts. He also suggested we have the ducts cleaned on a warmer day as both furnaces would be shut off for 4-5 hours. It was 15 degrees outside...so his was very helpful info! He came back to the house 2 weeks later and I was ready for him (and it was warmer outside!) He and Greg worked efficiently and were very mindful of my newly painted walls. They both wore booties to protect my carpets and also worked around my two pets nicely. Once finished, Barry patiently walked me through the proper care and replacement of my variety of filters. He took pictures and repeated when I had questions. We believe that our air quality was noticeably improved by evening. Very happy we got this service done and we would use Barry at Amistee again! Jake and Greg did air duct cleaning at my house. Very courteous and conscious of my pets. I didn't have a room without vents, so it was a trick to make sure the cat didn't get outside. We put him in one room and switched him to a different room when they needed access to that room.
They worked very hard as this is an old house, we just moved in about 1 1/2 years ago, and by the looks of it, the previous owner never had it done. They left the basement spotless!

Not one negative thing to say. One of the best home visits for any type of work. Tyler and Greg were extremely respectful, friendly, and very courteous. I was especially impressed by how thorough they were. Not being an expert in this area, it is easy for companies to cut corners and save time but they did not often going back to clean several ducts to ensure they were above acceptable. Even small items like a construction staple, they investigated until all ducts were thoroughly cleaned. They were extremely careful with all equipment as to not cause any damage anywhere in the house. Having three children between 3 and 10, our house is lived in and is not perfect, but they were very careful with kids toys here and there and everywhere. Again very impressed by how professional they both were.
No question about whether I would refer Amistee to others. YES, absolutely! Based on my interactions with Tyler and Greg, I get the impression that this is a good company to work for. Other companies that we have had out to work for various things, it was easy to see in the worker's attitude they did not enjoy working for the business they did. I did not get that impression at all from my experience with them today. I know my wife did do some research on Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation and every review was very positive. I understand why now from our cleaning today. I am very pleased to be able to write this review for Tyler and Greg. They were outstanding overall and took time to explain all that they had done. As individuals, the type of genuinely good character they each showed, Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation should feel very safe with Tyler and Greg being representatives of the business. Amistee Duct Cleaning and Insulation sent Specialist Tyler and Greg out to the house this weekend. I received a call a few days before and the morning prior to their arrival. They were very professional and carefully prepped the span between the vacume truck and furnace with drop clothes and wall pads. They meticulously and thoroughly cleaned every vent and return air duct. They were also prepared with new furnace filter that fit my system. Job complete! I really didn't know who I could trust to clean my air ducts, so I went on line to research companies and notice that Amistee had a very high rating of happy customers. I have to agree!
