12/30/2021 We moved to Longmont after 43 years living in Boulder. Our children used American Moving and Storage for their moves and we decided you use them, too. We talked with the owner, Gabriel. who mentioned that the movers are employees, covered by workman's comp. This was a key reason we chose American Moving & Storage because we believe that employees have a stake in the success of the business. Even though the price estimate was higher than another moving company we considered, the actual cost is based on the hourly rate and the number of movers (we had 5 movers and 2 trucks). We were extremely satisfied with the move. Packing up the trucks took all morning and unpacking took all afternoon. Furniture was carefully wrapped and moved. The movers took great care carrying boxes and furniture and made sure no property was damaged. The movers were tireless and moved many many heavy boxes of books and office equipment. We highly recommend American Moving & Storage. (See More)

Luis G. and his team, Jose, Hector, and Ricardo, did a great job moving us! They were super efficient, friendly, accommodating, and professional. A couple of times we asked them to move something from where we originally had them place it to another place, and they did it quickly and with a smile. They said a number of times, "we'll do whatever you want", and they meant it! We also stored about a third of our possessions at American Moving and Storage's warehouse - some of which were fragile - and not a single thing was broken upon final delivery! They got along well as a team which added to the positive experience for us. Moving is very stressful, but Luis and his team made it much more manageable. we moved a number of furniture pieces including piano and items with glass components. The arrived as scheduled, pack items carefully, delivered to storage destination, unloaded and unpacked items and moved to desired location.. The movers were efficient, professional and friendly. Luis, Jesus, Lucas and Cruz did an excellent job. They wrapped everything with great care and were very careful about moving furniture, bins and boxes. It was a long day and they worked with the utmost care the entire day. They were personable and pleasant and considerate of my home and me. I have recommended them to a friend who is also moving. The men were very quick and careful with our things and took special care. They listened where to put things and asked when finished to walk through and make sure things were where I wanted them. Jose Luis G, Eduardo R and Eduardo G helped us move twice within a span of 3 months. Both times, these guys were super professional and very fast. We couldn't believe how fast they worked and were tired just watching them. If we move again, we will definitely use them again. We had a couple of glasses that broke, but it was our fault because we didn't pack them well. Nothing else was damaged and every piece of furniture was wrapped and move with care. I would Luis and Mike 10 stars if I could. I could not have asked for better moving assistance. These guys arrived at the prearranged time, were courteous, and respectful of both me and my furniture. I have old furniture that weighs a ton and is the devil to move. Luis and Mike moved my stuff like it was empty boxes. Definitely ask for Luis and Mike when you need assistance. (See More)

Luis, Jonas, Adri, Eduardo, Camillio and Kyle helped us pack and load our house and move us in to the new house. Adri packed my kitchen and only one item received a chip. The rest of the fellas packed and loaded rest of house. One floor lamp received a crack in plastic. Considering I’ve had other moves with more broken this is a HUGE feat! I used American Moving to move the other day and I was beyond ecstatic with the work they did. I had Luis G. and Manny J. and they were amazing. They were very hard workers and incredibly efficient. They made furniture I struggled to move look like it was no big deal. They protected my furniture with wrap and blankets and were very careful to not damage any of my things. Luis and Eduardo did a fantastic job moving me from Thornton down to downtown Denver. The apartment I was moving out of was up 3 flights of stairs with no elevator and they still managed to pack and transfer all of my things extremely fast. All of my belongings were in good shape when they arrived and they helped put all of my furniture back together in no time. They were both professional and courteous. I have moved 3 times in the last 2 years and this is by far the best experience I have had. My only issue was that they quoted me at 7 hours and my move ended up taking 10 (which I understand happens), but there was an accident on the interstate that turned a 20 minute drive in between locations into an hour drive. I was told that some time would be refunded for this, which I am still waiting on. As soon as that is complete my 5 star review holds. Thanks! (See More)

10/10 would recommend this company to help with a move! From the very beginning Todd was very quick to answer my calls and questions and to get my move date reserved for me, as well as checking in the closer we got to the move to make sure everything was still going okay. I used this company to move between homes within town. This is the second time I've used the company in four years and both times I had a good experience. The initial phone conversation and estimate of the move went smoothly and was well communicated. The day of the move, Luis, Miguel and Luis Jr. arrived promptly and were friendly and easy to work with. American Moving and Storage did an excellent job moving our stuff from a small one bedroom apartment in Lafayette to a three bedroom house in Thornton. Though it was a short trip, my husband and I needed the help and Luiz and Miguel were through, professional, and efficient. They completed our move in less time than quoted and the price reflected that. Luiz and Miguel moved all our heavy items, put them where we needed them in our home, and kept everything in their moving truck safe! Luis, Victor and Gabriel were fantastic. They were no nonsense and went straight to work. They only took 6 hours (under the amount I was quoted) to move more belongings than I had at my last move which took 8 hours. We have this absolutely enormous executive desk that might as well weigh a million pounds and we weren't sure if it was going to fit in our new home. They made it work. It was a miracle. Very few damages- two scratches and a broken glass. Would certainly use them again, but I hope I don't have to! (See More)

Awesome! Our past experience with movers left us skeptical. But everything about this company left us amazed. When another moving company canceled on us at the last minute, American Moving & Storage was able to get us in their books right away and help us out. Very responsive, sent over an estimate that was right on, made a follow-up call.... the list of great customer service goes on and on. Luis and Victor worked VERY hard during the entire 5-6 hours they were there. Everything was carefully wrapped and protected. NO DAMAGE to any pieces! When they found one piece that had some prior damage, they made sure to let us know before even moving the piece so we knew it wasn't damaged during the move. So pleased and amazed by their hard work ethic and professionalism! Overall very happy and would highly recommend to anyone. (See More)

The staff was professional, all costs were noted up front and there were no changes during the whole process.We received multiple followup calls to ensure there were no questions and that there were no changes to the move date. Received a call the morning of the move from Charlie and Luis indicating their arrival time. Charlie and Luis were great. Very professional. Positive attitude during the whole day. These guys, Jorge, Luiz and Sergio are the kindest, hardworking, funny guys you could ever want during something as stressful as a move! I have had them help me with 2 moves and both times I have recieved the best service I could ask for. They worked from dawn to 8pm, until every last box was off that truck and only stopped for a short lunch break (which we MADE them do, so that WE could take a break....we were exhausted!) I would highly recommend them! OH and I forgot to say that my account manager, Dan, was on every detail of setting up the move from my first phone call, to the two calls he's made since the move to check and make sure everything went smoothly. AND, I had to cancel and re-schedule my move THREE times due to our new construction being postponed so many times. AND I even got the movers I requested from my first move with these guys. We had a big move and American sent a big team to do the job. They were all completely professional and did a terrific job. The floors and walls were protected and all the furniture was wrapped and padded. Everyone worked so hard and was friendly and accommodating. I'm not one for writing reviews, but at the same time I use them religiously when finding a new business. My experience moving with Gabriel, Louis, and Gil was just to good to not share... I have done more than my share of moving as I have move 24 times in the last 25 years. In the beginning I was young and traveled light. Towards the end I have collected so much stuff, especially cooking gear, that these moves are really more like moving a small family. Of all 24 moves, this last move with Gabriel, Gil, and Louis was by far the best move I have ever done, despite having to move across the country! Gabriel set up the move and did my estimate. I specifically chose this company because of the confidence he instilled in me that they would not only get the job done, but that they were already thinking about contingency plans for anything that could go wrong- weather, road closures, etc. Gil and Louis packed up all 2000 sq. feet in 2 days. They worked hard and they were extremely conscientious, making sure everything was packed properly and safely. Not one thing broke on the entire move!! Beyond that, Gil and Louis are two very nice gentlemen who are polite, respectful, and a pleasure to have around. While I drove across the country in my vehicle, Gil followed with the truck. I was given regular updates from Gil and Gabriel before I would even have time to start worrying. Gil unloaded the truck with some local help who were more than adequate, but it takes a lot to fill Gil and Louis' shoes! If you have any concerns about moving, these are your guys. I would say don't just ask, but demand this crew. You will not be disappointed. It as close as a move comes to is an enjoyable experience. Cannot say enough great things about these guys. American Moving really helped me out. Luis and Gil did an excellent job moving our house into storage. I found both guys to be extremely nice and professional. They treated our possessions with care and respect and allowed me to focus on watching our baby with the piece of mind that they were going to get us moved and packed efficiently and neatly. We had a great experience with American Moving & Storage. We would recommend them to anybody. Dan was wonderful to work with. He provided us some tips and answered all of our questions as this was the first time that we had ever used a moving company. He understood that we were on a budget and was willing to work with us on how to save some money. On the day of the move, Luiz, Sergio, David, and Jason work quickly and efficiently and completed the move in two hours less than what was budgeted. They were prompt, professional, efficient, friendly, and honest. They respected all of our furniture and our stuff, and treated our things with care. My daughter used this company last year and was pleased so I called them too. They coordinated a move of furniture from my son's house to mine and then back to my son's home. Very professional, kind, efficient, polite and friendly staff both in the office and assisting with the actual move. Luiz and Jorge were just great with the actual moving of my stuff. This is the second time we have used American Moving & Storage for moving. Both times they were reliable, friendly, trustworthy and on time. It had snowed the day before and I was worried about moving just after a snow. They put down protective runners through out our home to insure no mess was tracked in. For this move we had David, Louis, and Rubin. They loaded all our furniture and boxes quickly, carefully and with a smile. They took special care with a Grandfather Clock that was built my father in law. Loaded us up in about two and half hours and were waiting on us ahead of time at our new location. On 12/21, the team of Gil, Luiz, Sean, Sergio and Omar moved our belongings using two trucks to our new home with exemplary professionalism. They arrived 15 minutes early and kept moving a house full of furnishings and several hundred boxes until the trucks were unloaded nine hours later. Today was a tough day for a move (12/15/15) - we woke up to 8 inches of snow on the ground!  I was fully prepared to have American Moving call and say that they were going to cancel and reschedule.  But no, that did not happen.  Instead, Jorge and his team arrived and did a superb job in the most demanding of conditions.  Not only did the team perform their job cheerfully and efficiently, but when the job was done, they went out of their way to clean up and make sure that I was 100% satisified.  I would be remiss if I did not mention the other members of the team who helped make this move go smoothly: Gabriel - as the owner of the firm, did everything he could to make sure that everything was 100%; Dennis - when he came for the estimate, he went over every facet of the move and answered all of my questions; Luiz, Rueben, Sergio, Jose and Wyatt - these guys worked diligently, and more important, carefully.  The bottom line: I would recommend American Moving -no matter if you are moving across the street or across the country.  Do yourself a favor, give them a call! I have used American Moving twice and will continue to use them for any of my moving needs. Dennis Leash, Gil and Luis are just the best! They are very personable and easy to communicate with. Dennis gave advice on keeping moving costs down to a minimum and both quotes for both moves were exactly what we paid. Gil and Luis showed up on time and are very courteous, friendly and professional. Our items were wrapped carefully and moved without incident. Gil, Luis, David, Javier and Sean C showed up on time and ready to get started on our move yesterday. Very courteous, professional, and personable group of men who took the utmost care in moving all of our things, which included a baby grand piano, huge armoire that came down a flight of stairs, weight machine, multiple sofas, tables and a buffet and hutch. Our furniture was wrapped and placed expertly on a semi truck being taken to their storage lot to hold for 30 days until our new house is completed. Joe came out the day before to inventory all of our items as did two others whose names I can't remember that packed up some lamps, TV's, pictures, dishes and a Christmas tree that I didn't have boxes for. All men were very professional and courteous. Dan followed up with me on several occasions as our move in date changed and I found that we needed long term storage. He has been a big help. He even came out a second time to look at everything after I had sold a few things and then decided to add back in a few pieces of furniture that I did not get rid of. No problem! Being able to keep all of our things on the truck was a huge help both financially and from the standpoint of not having to have everything removed from a truck a second time and less chance that something would be damaged or lost. Dan also arranged for the storage of our piano inside their warehouse to avoid it being outdoors on the truck for 30 days. No problem. Communication with this company is excellent. I found this company on the Tom Martino website as well as Yelp reviews. I think you get what you pay for and I am glad that I located a company that had such rave reviews! This company far exceeded my expectations. I am sure that when we are finally settled in our new home at the end of this month that the group of men that arrive to unload our things will be as professional as the group that arrived yesterday.
