We moved to Longmont after 43 years living in Boulder. Our children used American Moving and Storage for their moves and we decided you use them, too. We talked with the owner, Gabriel. who mentioned that the movers are employees, covered by workman's comp. This was a key reason we chose American Moving & Storage because we believe that employees have a stake in the success of the business. Even though the price estimate was higher than another moving company we considered, the actual cost is based on the hourly rate and the number of movers (we had 5 movers and 2 trucks). We were extremely satisfied with the move. Packing up the trucks took all morning and unpacking took all afternoon. Furniture was carefully wrapped and moved. The movers took great care carrying boxes and furniture and made sure no property was damaged. The movers were tireless and moved many many heavy boxes of books and office equipment. Adrian and Luis arrived on time. They wasted no time during the work period. They packed all large items securely and with care. They were professional and you could tell they knew what they were doing. They worked well together. They both were helpful in moving things around so that the items could be placed where we wanted them and we didn't have to do that ourselves later. My recommendation is that I would be happy to use them again. (See More)

Adrian was fabulous from American Moving; he picked up the contents of our house that was in storage and drove it across country to Colorado. He was very thorough and patient with us as we directed them where to put the numerous boxes and furniture we hadn’t seen in 8 years. Had a great experience from start to finish. (See More)

These guys did an amazing job. From the very beginning, Ryan came out to do an estimate and was professional, polite, and available to answer my questions every time I called. The crew arrived on schedule on moving day and were friendly and very efficient at packing up my hard to pack items. They even finished ahead of schedule. I highly recommend American Moving & Storage. This is the second time we have used them for a moving service and they are awesome! The communication is great and a team member called with a reminder one week before, one day before and even called during the move to make sure all was going good. Our team of movers (Adri, Adrian and Luis) were amazing. They were true professionals and did an awesome job with the placement of furniture and boxes. Hopefully, we hope never have to move again, but if we do, we'll always use American Moving! (See More)
