I had a great experience with Ralph, Steve, and Nick this week, who came over to our house to install a car charger and several new outlets. All three were very professional and easy to communicate with. They all seemed to know the details of the job and the status of things throughout the day. They brought me in to participate in all discussions regarding where to place the outlets and drill holes. It is rare that I write reviews. In the case of All City Electric, I will make an exception. This team is very responsive, professional, friendly, and experienced. I had recently renovated my detached garage and needed to run electricity to it and install outlets, lighting fixtures, switches, and overhead outlet (for a garage door opener). I shopped around and got several quotes. All City Electrical came in as the most affordable, experienced, and trustworthy. Communication and scheduling was a breeze. Ralph, Cory, and Nick were on time when they came to my house and Ralph immediately performed a walkthrough to go over the work order to make sure it was what was supposed to happen and he then detailed what him and his team were going to do. He then got started and made a point to confirm small details for approval as they progressed through the work. I had questions that Ralph addressed and provided his opinion on and I even request other things outside of the work order to be completed tgat Cory and Nick expediantly handled for a reasonable price. In preparing to sell my house, I requested an inspection of all electrical issues. They did this thoroughly and proceeded to replace smoke and CO detectors, broken or malfunctioning fixtures and plugs , and damaged wires. The work was excellent and fairly priced. The people performing it were unusually conscientious and thoroughly competent, and they kept at it until it was perfect. I have had All City Electrical do work in my home for a few years. On this visit I had a 2 year old light fixture that blew out, sparked, and tripped my circuit breaker. Raphael was fantastic. He was able to determine what caused the issue and repair the ceiling light fixture completely, saving me from trying to replace the light. He also connected a new universal remote control to a ceiling fan since the original unit was old and failing. Lastly I had him replace old beige outlets and switches. I found Raphael to be highly knowledgeable and professional, doing whatever it took to get the job done. Exactly the kind of service I have always received whenever I work with All City Electrical. Ralph called a full half hour to alert me about his arrival time. He worked professionally and thoroughly to remove an old ceiling fixture from an even older electrical set-up. The drop cloth and booties enabled him to keep my home free from debris. Ralph then hung the new, modern fixture and made sure it was tied up higher than regular drop-length while other home improvement projects like painting were to be done. He explained how to lower the light to the proper above-dining table height once we were ready to do that in the future. This was all very practical information, explained in a respectful and helpful way. Joe and I went from attic to both floors and to the basement as he checked every single outlet and explained why several needed replacing. He also gave many suggestions and explanations as to best ways to improve outlets and fixtures for safety. I learned a lot about proper use of extension cords, etc. One of the bonus moments was when Joe moved 2 ranges and 2 refrigerators so he could test the outlets. It gave us the opportunity to "spring clean" these usually hard-to-reach areas even before spring officially arrived! Wow! These guys were great -Again. They answer the phone in person(Mike, the owner). Came on time for the estimate and for the job. Raphael and partner were great. Donned booties every time they walked in. Knew exactly what to do, showed me their progress as they did the work and came up with an idea that limited punching holes to bring the wires to two closets for lights (went into the crawl space in the attic.)As I have said before - My electricians forever.
